I wanted to write off debts I had accrued on credit cards and loans. It was getting me down and I wasn't sure which way to turn at all! I found Charwin by chance scrolling on social media and reluctantly gave them a call. Jamie Meakin contacted me very quickly and I explained my situation. Jamie advised me that the best way would be to remortgage - I was fortunate to not have an existing mortgage on my property. Despite my bad credit Jamie found me an excellent deal for the amount I wanted to borrow which would lower my monthly payments having got rid of all debts plus I had enough left for home improvements. The whole application process through to offer and then completion was made so easy and stress free by Jamie who was always on hand and happy to advise, message and chat - even on a Sunday! I cannot thank him enough for all his support and guidance. I feel so much better now and sleep a lot better at night! Charwin Private Clients have been excellent throughout my mortgage application. My case was not straightforward, as it involved a higher loan-to-value mortgage, self-employed/director income, company-related source-of-funds evidence and several detailed underwriting queries.

Diana and Simon handled everything professionally and kept the application moving, even when the lender required further clarification. They understood the complexity of the case, communicated clearly, chased the lender when needed and helped package the information properly so the underwriters could make a decision.

I particularly appreciated that they did not just treat the case as a standard tick-box application. They worked through the detail, explained what was needed and stayed proactive throughout the process.

I would highly recommend Charwin to anyone with a more complex mortgage case, especially self-employed applicants, company directors or buyers who need a broker willing to properly manage the application rather than just submit it and hope for the best.

My husband and I needed to remortgage but were worried because we had accrued some debts whilst on maternity leave. I was incredibly worried about remortgaging with our previous lender due to this. I saw an advert online that said Charwin could offer debt consolidation through a remortage and booked an appointment for the following day for a telephone consultation.

Lorne was absolutely incredible from our initial conversation and when talking through our situation assured us that he thought they would be able to help. We achieved a mortgage in principle the same day and from there the process (in our experience) was quick and seam free.

From our original conversation to completion took around 6 weeks and we are now saving a significant amount on our monthly outgoings.

Lorne also sorted out life insurnce and critical cover for us for a better price and better cover than we had with our previous lender.

I had a really positive experience from the start till the finish with my remortgage.
My broker,Ross was able to walk me through the steps of what was happening ,he was very much hands on, although we experienced a couple of hiccups he guided me through them.

From start to finish Simon was really helpful and friendly. He explained everything and helped us get a remortgage and release some equity to pay other debts. This did take a long time due to Precise mortgage asking for more and more info but we got there in the end. I can’t recommend Simon and Charwin enough. We would definitely use them again and recommend to friends and family.

My tendency to procrastinate took my mortgage application to the wire, but on contacting Lorne at Charwin, he managed to secure a good deal for me given the current financial climate and recent world events, and made the arrangements within 48 hours of contact, such a brilliant service! Always been sceptical about reviews on social media but thought i would give charwin a go and so glad I did my credit history was not great to say the least through no fault of my doing I spoke to Lucy who got the ball rolling admittedly the process took longer than I thought but I guess with my history I should of expected it but 4 months later I can say we now have our mortgage this is all down too Lucy and Dominique I would recommend anyone to give charwin a try they worked wonders for us
