It's a scam, the information they provide Helen Keller could get it while asleep. And the additional $6.95 they slip in is a total ripoff.
This outfit is nothing more than a con. Don't be an idiot (like me) and fall for their BS.
The unfortunate thing about this site is they don't offer minus stars!

This site supposedly found 9+ records of a name search and so I decided to try the $1 trial but got immediately charged an additional $6.95 and no records were found as mentioned. I filed a complaint with Apple Pay requesting my $6.95 back. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT give these scammer a penny. They lied about the results, lied about their “5 star” ratings and lie about canceling ur subscription. 100% SCAMMERS!

Did not provide info up to other sources. Unathorized charges. Called to cancel unauthorized ongoing membership and they kept charging me. Had to cancel card to prevent further charges. Unacceptable.

I signed up for a week trial. The day before it ended, I cancelled and was told it had already rolled over and would be charged nearly $30 for the next month. My main problem with these so called reports is the absolute uselessness of them. The first person I always check is a relative who I know for certain is in prison. His name shows no criminal record at all. That shows me the accuracy of a reporting company. If you can’t get that right… You can get better information just typing in a persons name and following those leads. You really have to be in law enforcement to get a true report about a person.

They advertise a service they DO NOT provide.
I canceled my $1 trial period on the 2nd day and they continued to charge me 4 separate times totalling over $53.
BBB claims they are scammers.
When I questioned charges they became belligerent and offensive.
Thankfully my bank is reimbursing me and promised to go after these scam artists.

I've never even been to there site I just opened my credit card statement and there is a charge from them for $29.17. I never searched anyone how did they get my card # im going to dispute the charge and change my account number this is superbullshit

I used this app for the free five days. I sent them an email the night before it was supposed to expire that I wanted to cancel services. They refused to credit my account even though I cancelled before midnight. They instead wanted me to keep my subscription for a lower rate. No thank you.

Do not trust this website at all. They were supposed to only take £1 for the trial subscribtion and they took the full amount out of my bank then proceeded to block me from accessing the website. Spread and share this so no one else falls victim to these scum of the earth. I hope one of the scammers are reading this because you are going to get what you deserve for stealing from people.

I highly suggest you do not do business with this company. I signed up for the 5 day trial for $1. What a sham. Every search comes back with invalid useless information. Then they charged me $6.99 extra after I canceled an hour prior.
Customer service is non existent.
When I called them on their BS and recommended they look at all their 1 star reviews they were rude and obnoxious

WOW! This Outfit Is Still in operation & scamming the same as they have done for years. Back in 2020-2022 I simply was attempting Check People to honor my "OPT-OUT" Request. The process on their site did not work. I called them & simply requested to be removed for reasons of privacy & safety. They ran me in circles for Months & would not honor my simple request my request for removal. All the other "Personal Information Sites" removed my information with no problem. I DID NOT give them a dime OR sign up for a Trial on the site. A simple removal of my name & information. That Was All. This was a serious issue of my safety. I finally filed a complaint against Check People through the Better Business Bureau in Orlando Florida. If they have ripped you off thru their "Trial" #1 Document a request with Check People. #2 Contact your bank & request their help for a refund of your money & #3 File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in Orlando Florida. Please don't let this outfit steal your money without exhausting your options. Our economy is serious & we cannot afford to have our hard earned money stolen by their ongoing theft & misleading website. I am astounded they are still doing this. For you that have been scammed by Check People, best wishes & Hopefully I have helped you possible recoup your money. This is just horrible & morally disgusting.

I signed up for $1.00 trial but they charged me$29.17 immediately. When I called to cancel 2 days later and request a refund they said it was too late I already reached the 5 day limit. Huh? How does 2days equal 5? I had to send screenshots. The refunded the first one. But I am still being charged monthly even though I cancelled already. Scam.

Beware of this company, offers free trial and starts billing monthly fee on auto pay. Once you provide CC info, they will bill you forever, without service or consent.

I would have not given it any stars if I could have. I had a lot more information to check and see if this person is who he says that he is. He says that he is about to retire from the US Army. I want to know if he is lying to me. They have no place for real information. $4.99 is a waste of money for what they do. I believe that they need to be investigated. I checked and found out that they had taken $6.99 out of my account that that I was not told would be taken out. I would advise not to have anything to do with them.

Horrible expierence, Waiting thinking its free than they hit u with, use your credit card now, and theres a clock, they try an make u wait so in the end u go through with it cause u dont want to waste time then a timer is on trying to hurry u so u cant think about it. Yea im not giving u dirtbags my hard earned dollars.look how those dirtbags made accounts to put 5 stars with a perfect expierence. Thats bs, also better buisness bereau is sleeping lol.

VERY misleading site which returned no results within my search

They say it's only $1 but when you put your card info in it takes $29.17 before you even finish your billing info but they don't tell you about the $29.17 cost.
