DO NOT ORDER, they are a SCAM.
I returned my eye glasses 5 months ago.
They did not refund me the money.
They kept my money.
They keep saying, "they have technical issues", "credit card system does not work", "they asked for PaylPal ID, I gave them the ID and no they do not answer the email... totally liars,

Brille NIE angekommen + KEIN Geld zurück

Ich habe im Mai 2022 eine Brille bestellt und diese NIE bekommen. Auch ich wurde immer mit einem Lieferdatum vertröstet. Seit Herbst 22 Kämpfe ich nun darum mein Geld zurück zubekommen. Schlechtestes Unternehmen und Kundenservice ever! Bloß nicht da bestellen!!

Company bankruptcy? Store closure and unresponsive, please help!

I paid these 1300 kr for a pair of glasses with tinted lenses and when I came to pick them up the store was gone !

They don’t pick up any of there numbers provided or respond to emails or messages online via instagram or Facebook.

Possible scam.

SCAM

Absolute scam. Initial order was placed in July 2022, 6 months later and few dozen of emails, I lost hope to receive anything. After lying several times about future deliveries, they have now stopped responding to anything. Nonetheless the website continues to operate and take the money of new customers and advertise their products on instagram. Avoid at all cost.

The worst f-ing service I have ever…

The worst f-ing service I have ever had. Ordered a pair of prescriptions sunglasses on November 4th and now two months later I have yet to receive it and they refuse to provide any update or refund my order. I have emailed them north of 20 times and they take forever to respond. When they do respond they make empty promises that your order will be delivered soon and refuse to issue a refund. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY. Take a look at the other reviews here that have had similar issues.

FRAUD - DO NOT ORDER PURCHASE HERE

Fraud - Ordered a frame that didn’t work for progressive lenses so returned it and ordered another pair. Didn’t get refund for return, which was sent with delivery verification, and never received the 2nd pair that I ordered. Customer service is via email and they have stopped replying. I am sure Tom Brady wouldn’t want to be associated with them.

Katastrophaler Kundenservice

Katastrophaler Kundenservice. Habe im August Brillen bestellt. Per Mail habe ich ständig neue Lieferdaten erhalten, die nie eingehalten werden. Bestellungen wurden dann storniert. Bis heute keine Rückerstattung und keine Antwort mehr auf meine Mails..

Frauds

Frauds. Confirming the experience of many others here. They are able to take your money within a day, yet it's clear order fulfillment is not part of their business model. I'm going on 65 days and seven attempts at correspondence (unanswered). Now pursuing claims through my credit card company.

Update! Manglende fortsat levering - ventet i over 7 måneder (bestilt 31/7)

Miseren fortsætter. Efter nedenstående svar og henvisning fra Christoper Cloos, har jeg nu blot fået af vide, at jeg skal skrive til Kromann Reumert og at der, som de (Christoper Cloos) skriver, "Med dette sagt har vi desværre ikke yderligere information eller anden løsning end dette."
Kan ikke fraråde folk nok til IKKE at handle ved Christopher Cloos.

Besked fra 01/09/2023 (stadig aktuelt):
- Manglende varer (bestilt 31/7)
- Pengene trukket før varen er afsendt
- Reaktiv kundeservice og kommunikation
- Brudte garantier
- Henvisning til at købe et produkt mere med garanti om at det bliver sendt med det samme, men efter denne opfordring og henvisning, så er beskeden at varen er forsinket (stadig ikke modtaget)

Jeg bestilte i første omgang solbriller d. 31/7 med beskeden om, at de ville blive sendt inden for 2 uger. Dette skete aldrig, hvorfor jeg kontaktede og fik af vide at der går 2 uger mere. Hører igen ikke noget, hvorfor jeg igen spørger og får af vide, at der nu går 1 måned. Hører igen ikke noget, skriver igen og får besked på at det skyldes en produktionsfejl, men at jeg kan bestille et andet par i anden farve med garanti om at de så bliver sendt med det samme. Dette gør jeg så, men hører igen ikke noget (nu med to bestilte solbriller). Jeg skriver igen og får besked på at grundet julen lige på trapperne, så er der forsinkelser pga. travlhed. Alt i alt reaktiv kundeservice, garantier der ikke bliver overholdet, misinformation og henvisning til at købe mere. Og alt dette, hvor pengene er blevet trukket før varene er afsendt.

Fraudulent Company!

Order was never delivered. After repeatedly asking via email for a refund and being offered gift cards, etc., I submitted a chargeback request to my credit card company. Don't waste your time - this company is running a scam.

Stealing/Unreliable Company

Christopher Cloos is not a reliable company. Like many other commentators here, I too have problems with getting my money back after returning a product that I did not want to keep. During the whole returning process I have needed to ask what is going on, and now I've been waiting to get my money back for 6 months.

They are claiming there to be problems with their payment system, but "strangely" enough they don't inform about that on the website... Also I've already twice given them Paypal account information to be able to get my money back that way, after they suggested a refund through PayPal instead, but I've just gotten promises of my money being on my account in 10 days. That still hasn't happened after waiting for 3 weeks since the last promise - in total I've sent 17 emails to them through this whole return process, and that's way too many to be in any way acceptable.

I wonder if anyone ever has actually gotten their money back after a return to Christopher Cloos?

Jeg har bestilt et briller 26/10

Jeg har bestilt et par briller 26/10 - næsten intet hørt, udover det blev garanteret brillerne komme først i starten af december, bagefter skulle de komme i uge 52, men intet hørt siden. Har både prøvet at ringe, skrive og besøge deres butik i København, desværre uden held.. Pengene trukket før varen er afsendt. Direkte i strid med dansk lovgivning..

No Refund after 7 months. Repeatedly lied to by Customer Service

I ordered two pairs of glasses in May of 2022 and promptly returned them. Since then, there have been 37 emails between Christopher Cloos and me. In there are over 7 emails saying I would receive a refund in 8-10 business days. I have not received a refund. The last email they sent to me said my order would be shipped out on Monday which was very confusing because I am waiting on a refund for glasses shipped back to them over six months ago! They have repeated lied about refunding money. They have repeatedly lied that they are "working on internal systems". There is nothing truthful coming from this company unfortunately.

Terrible Service!

Lies, lies, and more lies from the Customer Service Support team at Christopher Cloos. Placed an order for 2 pairs of sunglasses in July, 2022. As of end of December, 2022 have still not received the 2nd pair despite multiple emails from Cloos Customer Service saying they would be shipped soon, or back in stock shortly, or whatever. They try to placate you with gift cards, so after receiving 3 gift cards due to delays I figured I would redeem them for another pair of sunglasses in a different style. So, ordered a pair almost 6 weeks ago now - after first inquiring as to if they were in stock. Was told they were in stock, so went ahead and ordered - using the gift cards and paying the balance. After checking on the order multiple times and getting apology after apology, they STILL cannot give me a tracking number which means they still have not shipped these to me. Great marketing, ton of advertising...but the follow through on the shipping side is horrendous. Will be requesting refunds if these are not received by end of next week. Then, will be reaching out to Tom Brady to ask him why he is partnering with this company.

Horrible Experience Continues

I can no longer trust this company. I ordered a pair of glasses in July 2022 and was repeatedly told delivery would occur and it never did. On November 29, 2022, I was told "Your order has been canceled and the refund process has been initiated. The refund process will be finalized in 10 business days. You will receive an email notification when this occurs."

To date, I still have not received a refund. I have followed up multiple times and have not received a response.

This company could not complete my order for over 4 months, and now they aren't even refunding payment. If they respond, maybe they can indicate why I have not received a refund after a month!

Absolutely shady company- do not BUY!!

Absolutely shady company- do not BUY!!! I ordered sunglasses for my brother in Colour A and they sent out Colour B to me with Colour A's sticker label pasted over it. Numerous emails to ask for a refund, they kept saying they would prefer not to refund and to give me a "credit" to spend and they would send out the back ordered Colour A sunglasses first week December. I ordered in November mind you- up until now after emails from my brother and me(No response) It seems like this is how they scam customers. Sunglasses feel CHEAP too, everyone please skip this company. Many other better brands with higher ethics/business practices to consider. Shameful to behave like this to paying customers in this day and age.

As you may have heard, Luxreaders ApS acquired the assets of Cloos ApS in January 2023 (the Danish entity behind Christopher Cloos' activities in Europe, which filed for bankruptcy in December 2022).

If you have not received your order, please contact us via email support@christophercloos.dk and we will help you further with guidance and the further process.

In addition, we are working to get an overview of the situation in the Danish company and will contact all customers who have an open order in our system when we have further clarity.

Still haven't received an order from October and can't get in touch with anyone.

We are truly sorry to hear that you have not received your order or refund and we understand your frustration.

Luxreaders ApS purchased the assets of Cloos ApS in January 2023 (the Danish entity behind Christopher Cloos' activities in Europe, which filed for bankruptcy in December 2022). The Danish trustee does not manage the US operations (Cloos Incorporated Inc.) and claims relating to the US platform/webshop cannot be filed with the Danish trustee.

We are currently working on an overview of the situation and will contact customers who have open orders in the system.

We apologize for the inconvenience once again. We are working hard to provide clarity as soon as possible and find the best possible solution as the new owners of Christopher Cloos.

I purchased a pair of sunglasses at Cloos.

I purchased a pair of sunglasses in May. Unfortunately they did not fit. I contacted customer service. They provided me with a return label. I shipped the sunglasses back in June. I followed up in July. The glasses were received back. I should have the refund shortly. Then when I followed up I was told that Cloos system had been hacked and I should have my refund soon.

Here we are five months later and 36 emails and no refund. They even asked for my Paypal account. I was told the refund would be in my Paypal account no later than 12/8/2022. Well as of today 12/21/2022 I still have not received it. Cloos just keeps telling me that they are working on it.

This is getting old....
