Churchill as an insurer were great when i had a policy with them.....
However, if you try to close your account with them, this becomes an very frustrating and lengthy issue. You should be able to close an account with any site if you no longer have insurance/goods with them. I am still waiting to see if they will actually allow me to close my own account!
Update:: the reply below doesn't have a link........ And no the issue is not resolved

My only issue was my house insurance…
My only issue was my house insurance wasn’t renewed automatically as I was expecting. After paying manually I had a txt to say it had not gone through which it had as I could see this clearly on my credit card statement
However the lady I spoke to was helpful and explained the error

Only thing that took me by surprise was the name of the company on my bank statement as it was the holding company in the UK rather than Churchills name. Would def recommend
