Intuitive, practical and well designed!

Simple,easy to use and reasonable costs - what’s not to loke.

Difficult to verify identity, dont understand why you have to pay fees, a tip was added without me approving. 2-3 days to transfer money? An old monzo pot would have worked in 10 seconds rather than all that fuss and painful admin.

I'd been looking for a way to offer people a safe and easy way to contribute towards one of my Themed Photoshoots, with very little success. I stumbled across Collctiv and sent them a query asking if what I had in mind would be possible with their platform and between them; Josh, Joe and Sam; had me up and running in no time. A breath of fresh air to be able to actually communicate ideas and to have those ideas actioned in a friendly and approachable manner. Well done 😍

Did not like the fact Collectiv automatically take 12.5% of each donation unless you untick this option - lots of people didn’t realise. Not very happy that they also charge you to withdraw the money!

And I went to put the first collection on from myself and when I selected Google pay it comes up not allowed. I tried multiple times over a few days. Can't be bothered with this hassle. Will go elsewhere.

Also when the page loads up to fill in the bank details and amount you wish to donate it was glitchy and I kept having to refresh and then the page would fully load this happened each time I opened the app

So easy to organise and collect money when organising group events. Less hassle than using bank accounts and easy for payers to use. Just click the link and pay. Also love the export payments option so you can track who’s paid and who hasn’t.

Unless you unclick this option, Collctiv now collects 12.5% of the funds for themselves, which is an AWFUL lot! And is an awful change from their old practice of allowing you to decide to top up to support them. NOT GOOD!

It was quick and easy to set up and the notifications received when people made payments help keep track of who to thank.
But when the time came to transfer the money to a bank account the fees for same day/next day were a suprise. I need to delay my deposit payment to the venue by 5 days, which has caused a hassle to re-assure people that the funds would be safely transferred.

I’ve used Collctiv to set up several collection pots for gifts in the past, and while the service itself has always been easy to use, I was disappointed to discover an idle pot fee of £5 per month being charged without my awareness. In the age of instant notifications, I expected a clearer warning or reminder before any fees were deducted—especially for funds I had simply forgotten about. £30 in fees felt unreasonable with no alert that the pot was being depleted.

Update: After emailing the Collctiv team, they were helpful and understanding. They reviewed my situation and, as a one off goodwill gesture, refunded 50% of the fees. I appreciate their willingness to find a fair resolution.

This app is extremely helpful with organising and collecting funds without having to give away your personal bank details. Customer service is always helpful, friendly and quick to respond. I always recommend this app.

No nonsense app to collect the money. Plenty of options to take the money out including to withdraw to your account without any penalty. You may be asked to pay a small amount to support Collectiv, which is only fair and it’s totally discretionary. Support team also helped quickly with my queries!

Very easy to set up and distribute the QR code to others.
