Not upfront about cancellation charges…
Not upfront about cancellation charges and £40 admin fee for cancelling, which you have no option but to do when your son/daughter passes their test. They automatically deduct these fees from the original credit card without authorisation

Sneaky Cancellation Charges
Very sneaky £40 cancellation charge buried in the T&C's. You have no choice but to cancel the insurance once your learner passes and yet Collingwood have the cheek to charge you for the same. Even if you let the policy run for the full 12mths and expire, they do a cross check with the DVLA if your learner now holds a full driving license and will charge you regardless.
Judging by the numerous similar reviews across the internet many others have fallen foul of this buried in the T&C's - Shame on you Collingwood, crafty way of making the premium look cheaper than it is in reality.
