The basic information is a bit bland and basic for the advertising and money. It's all designed to entice the customers to continue to spend money for bits and pieces of more .I absolutely don't recommend from a consumer point. Same basic information can be gotten for less, but expect the same maximum sales pitch to bleed out more money.

Not What I Expected
I was very disappointed with my results for what I paid and thought that I had purchased the best available DNA process. As it turns out, I received information that stalls and they try and sell yearly subscriptions at much higher costs. I am still waiting and hoping for names of my ancestors, which I thought was included and still hoping it is. Some reports take longer than others and that was to be expected.
On the plus side, it was interesting to find out what parts of the world my DNA and my wife's DNA revealed. I knew my main ancestry (35% German) but was a little surprised at some of my other European ancestry was from (Czechoslovakia). My wife's ancestry was a little surprising since her grandparents all came from Czechoslovakia albeit her DNA shows Polish more that Slavak albeit that would be regional.
I would not recommend this unless you only want to know minimal ancestry. Purchase the cheaper DNA tests.

We do currently offer Relative Finder. This feature can help you explore potential genetic connections and learn more about your relatives.

We completely understand how surprising and concerning it can be not to see your children listed in your Relative Finder results. If you’re not currently seeing any relative matches, there are two possible explanations:
1. No known relatives in our database – Your biological relatives may not have submitted a DNA sample to our database yet. Without participating relatives, there wouldn’t be any matches available to display.
2. Privacy and consent settings – Potential relatives may be in our system but have chosen not to participate in Relative Finder matching or sharing. To protect everyone’s privacy, we can only display matches when the appropriate consent has been provided.
Please rest assured that you’ll receive an email notification as soon as potential relative matches become available.
We truly appreciate your patience and understanding, and we’re here to help if you have any other questions or concerns.

I expected genetic reports about potential health issues like cancer and Alzheimers. I didn't need generalities about whether I have a tendency to have freckles or difficulty unwinding at the end of the day. Paid the membership to get family matches but nothing so far.

We sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding or disappointment. At this time, we do not offer medical DNA testing or reports for potential health conditions such as cancer or Alzheimer’s. Our DNA testing currently focuses on genetics and ancestry-related insights rather than medical testing.
Regarding the Relative Finder, please note that it can take up to 45 days from the date of membership purchase for family matches to become available. We appreciate your patience while the system searches for potential matches.
In the meantime, what we can do for you is add your account to our mailing list. That way, once medical DNA testing services become available, you’ll be notified and can stay up to date with any new features and services we offer.

Disappointing at best
I feel as if I taken in by the marketing (my fault) and believed the hype. It has been a huge disappointment and I was dismayed to learn of the additional costs associated if you only buy the basic package. I suppose it was the only way to learn, though. I have told my family members and others not to bother. I would not recommend it to anyone. I am sorely disappointed

I wasn't expecting so many paywalls to get more access to things like brain health when I originally thought I had already paid upfront for access to this type of info. When it shows famous people we share genes with I wish it could tell if that's the mother's family or father's side of family.

Highly commercially oriented site…
Highly commercially oriented site similar to Ancestry.com and 23 And Me that only gives general info about your DNA and tells you nothing about your racial components which is the truest clue to who you really are. Furthermore this site charges extra for almost every piece of additional information. For example, Relative Finder which I believe is offered for free on FsmilySearch.org is not free on this site.

Haplogroups represent specific direct ancestral lines. A person can inherit ancestry from someone through different branches of their family tree while their own Y-DNA haplogroup follows only their direct paternal line.
Additionally, historical haplogroup assignments can change as new DNA evidence and research become available. An ancestry connection to a historical figure does not necessarily mean that the individual is a direct paternal-line descendant of that person.

CRI genetics is a company that…
CRI genetics is a company that advertises that you will receive personal information derived from your DNA testing. You send 2 swabs of your DNA and what is advertised is that you will receive all types of information. The cost is approximately $150. For this, you get no information. All of the reports are locked and you have to pay more money to see any results. It is a bait and switch. All of the reports are locked. I sent an email with this complaint. I was told that I could buy another pkg for $ 79 for more information.
Needless to say, I do not recommend this company. You do not get what is advertised.

I guarantee if I get this test done somewhere else it'll show this test is completely wrong
My father's mother is Puerto Rican. My father is a father is a black Cuban. My mother is Italian in German and the only thing that showed up on this genetics test is Italian and then they didn't even say anything about Cuban. They put Colombian and I know for a fact that that's not true. My mother's family and my father's family hate each other enough to where I know they're not going to lie for each other about what they are.

Please note that our ancestry test is based on genetics rather than genealogy. Your results reflect how your DNA compares with populations in our reference database and may not display the exact countries or ethnicities found in your family tree.
For example, Puerto Rican or Cuban ancestry may not appear under those exact labels. Similarly, a Colombian result does not necessarily mean you have a Colombian ancestor; it means portions of your DNA may be genetically similar to our Colombian reference population due to shared genetic history and population migration.
