Customer service don’t exist!! The phone line only provides a recorded message about being busy, and it says same thing every day even at 1am at night!!!!
No communication, takes ages to get update, once dispatched you can't not track because the link is not working!!! This company is a horror!!!

Shocking.

Ordered the door 2/09/24 door didn’t arrive for nearly 2 months.

In the mean time, they don’t answer the live chat, phone line is also not answered. If they reply to this saying they do, they are lying.

I managed to get in touch with a woman from customer service who called me from a mobile.

Anyway, 2 months later and after having to change the door and pay £100 more than I originally intended because THEY didn’t have the door I ordered in stock. It finally came…. And they forgot the hardware pack 🤣

They did send the pack out a few days later and it tuned out to be a cheap handle that you can get in your local hardware store for £12.
Bearing in mind I paid £100+ for a ‘hardware pack’.

I never leave reviews, but this company is absolutely terrible. Avoid at all costs.

We received the door within the time scale of 2 weeks the door was as described and to a good quality and looks great on my extension

UPDATE 09/12:
The saga continues. Following leaving this review lo and behold I received contact from Dave’s Doors promising a full refund (after being told my review was slander and asking me to remove it). A full refund was confirmed in writing, and I was pleased to see I was refunded… but oh wait, my refund was £170 short of the full cost with no explanation. I have tried to contact numerous times since to no avail. Hopefully trust pilot will do the trick again.

Ordered over a week ago and with no update I have looked at reviews and my heart sank.
Over £1000 paid I have requested a cancellation, trying phone, web chat and email. I did not receive a reply to my email but merely copied in to an internal email (which looks to have shown someone else's personal email address) desperate for them to
"intercept the van so it doesn't get delivered" I have now tried to contact them again for my refund and have had no response. They are quick to respond to ensure they don't lose out but I am now £1000 down. Lesson to check the reviews.

Used davesdoors on several occasions and always recommend to my customers. Build quality of the doors are great. Some stock issues from time to time like all trade merchants however they always have alternatives in stock if the customer is in a rush to complete. Staff always helpful in my experience and I like the fact they text my customers a delivery tracker so i can schedule my install dates from this point, helps me out with admin my end! Thanks Dan

We have ordered a Stable Hardwood door from daves door. We are still waiting for the door to be delivered, no one is answering the phone or replying to my emails. I can't get hold of them, is this company even legit? is this some sort of scam?

I have ordered a oak door from daves door. I am still waiting for the door. No1 is ever answers the phone and they keep fobbing me off via emails, saying the door I ordered is gonna take ages we have a similar one in stock. I have asked for a refund or my original door and they keep fobbing me of. It's been 5 weeks now and still nothing. What the hell are they playing at. Disgusting behaviour.

As suggested I have emailed you I want a full refund in emails. Today's date is 25th November. This still hasn't been resolved. I seem to get no reply to emails. The only way I can communicate with you is via here.

Why have you put my address and number on the the net... is this what you call customer service. Obviously I'm gonna be ringing solicitors and reporting you for data protection. I'm already getting people banging my door.

Excellent product. The service throughout was faultless and the delivery was very efficient.

Absolutely brilliant quality doors, so good we ordered another one. So we’ve had 2 altogether on separate occasions. Very professional and communicative throughout the whole process - great value for money too. They are packed well for delivery, and delivery dates are kept. Very happy indeed and wouldn’t hesitate to order again when we need too. Very happy with the whole package. Lovely company to do business with. The first stable door we ordered on 1st august 2024, a few weeks before, and when we needed another door ‘no brainer’to use Daves doors.

I bought a hardwood external back door and frame from Dave’s Doors. I am very pleased with the quality of the door and the frame. I have painted it and it looks great. The door was delivered within the stated time frame, although I was only given 16hour notice if of delivery time/day. This was quite stressful as it meant I had to rearrange a much needed dentist appointment at very short notice.

Stay away from this company. Awful customer service when you manage to get a response. They don’t reply to emails. Then you only get half a delivery, it took 5 weeks before my full order was delivered, no explanation or apology, only aggressive phone calls when you ask for an update. When they’ve received payment and they’ve been contacted by the credit card company to confirm payment, their next step is to send you a PayPal invoice in order for you to pay again. You then get in touch with evidence that payment has been made, yet the invoices keep coming, emails and messages never get a reply, which is basic FRAUD. They threaten legal action to cover up their own stupidly and lies, I am yet to see a legal action after 8 weeks of threat. If i did owe money you would think they would have taken action by now. Do yourself a favour stay away . Look at the grace with which they handle customer complaints, three posts got taken down because they broke the law again. There’s just no stopping this company making up their own rules!

Excellent quality door. Very solid and our joiner who fitted the door and frame found them to be very well made.

Despite some of the bad reviews on here, my experience was entirely positive. I ordered a half-glazed door off the website but told the company we were going away during the anticipated delivery date and so wanted it delivered on a specific date when we were back. It was delivered on time. The carpenter who fitted the door for us said it was of good quality.

Good easy website with up to date info from styles size and availability, After the order was placed i was kept informed on expected delivery .
All on time and no damage .

Dave’s Doors site is super easy to navigate and get yourself around, it’s clear where everything is to browse. There’s a great selection of doors and frames to choose from too. The design section allows you to easily select colours and style and then quickly view to see if it’s as you imagined it would look. Top site!

Good products and reasonable prices. Delivery times are also pretty quick comparatively to other companies I have looked at for these products.

The door hardware was not delivered. Nobody answers the phone or responds to email, and the chatbot just died.

The wrong hardware was delivered the second time. Since then no communication from you and no refund. I had to purchase the hardware myself so very much out of pocket.

I am still waiting for a weather board which was ordered a paid for 2 months ago. The door was delivered fine. I had to pay extra postage on the hardware because they had not paid sufficient postage to get it delivered which delayed it by 2 weeks.
I have tried to get the weatherboard as they don't answer phones or respond to emails 'live chat' is the only chanel open to me, and have been told it will be here next week twice, that was 4 weeks ago. I have asked for a refund but still nothing.
Massive waste of time and money
