Scam? Expensive and unprofessional
As it was my first time doing this, I fell into an instant trap: I didn't realise DBS checks weren't supposed to be this expensive. I emailed for a receipt, as they didn't initially provide one (which in itself is terrible), but they also did not engage with me whatsoever, and only put the chart into the email to show me their obscene price breakdown and VAT charges. No hello, no sign off, no human interaction. Really dodgy; got myself in trouble with my employer, as they thought this was a scam, and I was ready to call my bank and cancel the payment as fraud. Do not recommend.
Edit: just adding that their fast-track service certainly is fast, it came the next day, but the letter in the post was handwritten which is really bizarre for a company charging such high prices, and my DBS card looks fake (poorly made, again, considering the price I paid). I spent an hour with my partner researching the company to make sure I hadn't fallen for an elaborate identity theft scam because I was genuinely convinced it wasn't real. Their prices definitely do not mean better quality of service. I'm genuinely confused by this company, and feel like a fool for not doing better research, or getting my employer to do my DBS check. This company preys on naivety and inexperience.

Receipts of purchase are automated and sent out immediately via email. A VAT receipt was also sent upon request detailing an official breakdown of the charges associated with your DBS Check and our company registration information.
A core benefit of applying with us is our fast-track processing. We strive to process applications within 2-3 working hours which aids the dispatch timeframe of certificates.
As noted in your review, your results were received the next day, hence fast and efficient service was provided by us.
All DBS certificates are dispatched by the Government and are official printed copies. The ID cards are an independent service we offer to customers. They are an easier method of verifying to employers you have an up-to-date DBS Check.

For me, it was the way that the agent - Ikra- handled this. She was informative, extremely helpful, friendly and kind. I didn't feel rushed, and she definitely knew what she was doing.
Also, the certificate was issued incredibly quickly.

Seemed like i was getting the check i wanted on the website, when it arrived it was not the one I was expecting and totally useless to me, when I asked for a refund they refused.
£120 down and now I have to pay a proper provider for the DBS check i thought I was getting.

I 100% tried to use this site , I resent the implication that I didn’t . Also you kept £40 of my money as an ‘admin’ fee for the fact your system would not load my documents. You can save your money and go direct to dbs official and it’s £40 cheaper .

Frustrating and unhelpful
I has taken us months to complete the process of obtaining PVG's. I appointed DBS on the understanding that they would provide assistance in obtaining the required PVG's, however they complicated the process and made errors meaning that not all the PVG's got shared with us as required. It has been a very frustrating experience. When I tried to complain I was fobbed off and not heard anything further about my compliant.

The company is fast and will help with anything, the only problem I had was I couldn't see how to apply for and additional check through the portal so ended up doing it the old way. It is still being processes and I did have a phone call asking if everything was ok. great customer service.
