I’m honestly fed up with Deliveroo. Despite having a Pro account (wife account) and being shown huge banners promising “on-time delivery or your money back-20 aed-!”, the service is consistently late. Orders are always delayed, and the estimated delivery time keeps getting pushed back without any real explanation or accountability.
It’s not a one-time issue — it happens again and again, across different restaurants and times of day. What’s even more frustrating is that when you try to contact customer service, they’re dismissive. You’re left feeling like your time and money don’t matter.
If you’re considering Deliveroo for reliability — don’t. Even with a paid Pro subscription, they can’t keep their promises. Total disappointment.

Deliveroo are taking money off customers and even if you get damaged, spilled items of groceries or rotten food they will say it’s perfect!!! Someone has to take them up. I bought tinned tomatoes that were all dented and leaking and they refused to refund or collect the damaged items! Thievery!!!

Worst experience one after the other with deliveroo. Never ever using this app again. Customer service get 0 rating from me. They never help you ever if food requests are ignored or food arrived open or item was missing or food delivered to A WRONG ADDRESS after you pay with your card !!! Their response " sorry we can't help you at the moment and we will take your feedback " so called feedback for money you payed ?? What is this?
I really recommend using another app. This is the 8th issue i has with them !! They seriously never help and I deleted my app and will never use it again. If you must use the app which I wouldn't recommend always choose cash on delivery to avoid losing hours of your time trying to fix the problem and your money !my family has also deleted the app happily. Never again

Worst service ever! I don’t recommend Deliveroo to anyone, I placed a food order at 8PM and the delivery time is 12:30 Midnight!!!!! There is no way you can contact Deliveroo. I have never seen a worse service than this in my life. I will delete the App and share my experience with everyone. NEVER USE DELIVEROO!!!

I placed an order through Deliveroo and applied a coupon. The total showed AED 60.5, but they charged me AED 110.5. I contacted their customer support several times, but they failed to resolve the issue and offered no real solution. This was an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. I will never use Deliveroo again and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Very disappointed with Deliveroo. Ordered a tuna pizza and waited nearly an hour, only to receive the wrong order. The pizza that arrived was bland, cold, and definitely not worth the price. What made it worse was Deliveroo’s resolution — generic, unhelpful, and far from compensating for the poor experience. Also surprised this restaurant has such a high rating on the app — either the reviews are outdated or completely misleading.
Honestly, I’ve never had this kind of issue with Talabat — faster service, more accurate orders, and much better customer support. Might stick with them from now on.

wish 0 stars option was there! placed 3 orders for an event. The adress was corrected but all drivers were sent to another pinned location. Spoke with them 45 mins and got nothing resolved. They refused to reimbursed me despite escalating the matter to managers and writing mails. We erase their app and we will never use it again
Food missing and no refund
The restaurant forgot my dessert and when contacting UAE customer service, they told be over 24 hours later, that I need to send a photo to prove that the item was missing. 24 hours later I don’t have the possibility to make a photo of my order and what kind of proof would that even be? I ordered daily and now they have lost a loyal customer. Also the delivery guys ask for water each time they come to the house. It’s not my job to make sure that their drivers are hydrated during their work shift. They should treat their customers and employees better than this.

Got scammed out of 50AED
Got scammed out of 50AED. First time ordering from deliveroo and they promised 50AED off an order over 85 valid for 24 hours. Did that ~ voucher didn't work and got charged the full amount... it gets better....
After contacting deliveroo (30 seconds after making the order) to ask then for help, they said: they cannot honour the vouchet and it's too late to cancel the order.
Absolute joke. Deleting the app and will stick with Careem.

2nd time to order Dubai Fix Chocolate to Deliveroo and also 2nd time to have big frustration and bad experience with Deliveroo. The first bad experience, wrong items delivered, was last December 22, 2024 and just to give again a try, was April 7, 2025, Order No 0407, where in incomplete items were being delivered. I refused the delivery because the delivery rider is delivering 1 pc item, but in my paid order with them, it was 3 pcs. At the end, the customer service agents and senior agent, Hazem, told me that I should have received the 1 pc item, then after informed me that the rider left the 1 pc in my flat door step, but nothing was there, after also reviewing the cctv of the building. I emailed them to please just refund my money back on my credit card, but what Shahin did was to give back for 2 pcs only, and only as credit in my deliveroo wallet. With this kind of experience from Deliveroo, do they think that I will still make an order from them anything. And the 1 pc, they considered as delivered. VERY VERY VERY VERY WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPPORT.
