Order 45 mins late. Called the restaurant twice... They gave me false information. Got on chat with Deliveroo. Started my complaint. They said not our responsibility because this restaurant delivers their own food. So I asked why do u put expected time of delivery on your app if you are not accountable? Didn't even bother answering that kept saying it's not them and I'm like ok thanks for that I guess I'll look for another food delivery app. After 4 years today I am switching to their competitor. Oh and just to add to the nonsense. The delivery guy is from Noon. Way to go Deliveroo.
Its good service and always on time
Deliveroo will not take any responsibility for the customer refund.
I placed an order on 30/03/2026 from Pizza Hut worth AED 129, using an AED 50 discount voucher through deliveroo app , so the total amount I paid was AED 79.
After waiting for some time, they said they are unable to deliver the food to your place and amount will be refunded to your account within few days. but app showing that its delivered . However, I have still not received my refund today is 14/04/2026 .
I have not received any clear update regarding my refund so far. This was my first time using the app, and I am quite disappointed with the experience.
Useless app and useless offer codes
Useless app. The 50NEWROO offer for aed 50 never worked. ' Add another card '. After adding another card the error was same. Even if you select cash option it says voucher doesnt doesnt work.frustrating experience.
Honestly one of the better food…
Honestly one of the better food delivery apps in Dubai in terms of restaurant variety. My orders arrive hot about 80% of the time. The Pro subscription is worth it if you order frequently. Had one issue with a missing item and they refunded it quickly via chat. Nothing groundbreaking but it works.
Delivery boy kept the items on door…
Delivery boy kept the items on door step and left with out proper communication so we did not receive any ordered items. No responsibility. We did not receive the refund yet. No proper customer care service as well.
False Advertising (total disgrace)

On the 23rd of November 2025 I have joined the Amazon and Deliveroo offer. Once you signed up for Amazon Prime membership, you automatically can download Deliveroo app and instantly become Silver Plus tier user alongside with 150 dirhams credited to your account.
I received the Silver Plus status but no credit. I asked for the clarification on support. Deliveroo support answered that I am eligible for the promotion and will forward the message to the relevant department.
I registered on the 23rd of November and sent the message the same day. The support kept postponing until the beginning of March 2026 I finally received the response. After more than 3 months later Mr Peter from Escalation Team replied that he couldn't find this promotion and there's nothing he could do anymore. He also referred to it as "your promotion". Specifically he avoided the accountability there.
Is this the approach from a reliable company? Is it professional? Would you use it again or recommend their services to your friends? If you have to wait 3 months for a reply from customer service, how long you will have to wait for other things from the food delivery app? Everyone should find their own answers to these questions. I have already learned mine. And yes, I'll be more than happy to provide necessary proof.

Fake Discount Codes and Terrible Service
This is the worst service I’ve ever seen. They gave a discount code that’s supposed to give 50 AED off, and it still has 22 days before it expires, but apparently you can’t use it on the second order if you didn’t use it on the first one. I’ve honestly never seen such a stupid rule.
So we tried to work around it by creating a new account on another phone and placing the order again. This time I used the discount code on the very first order, but then another problem started — Apple Pay wouldn’t work. On the order screen I tried to pay with Apple Pay 5–6 times, and every single time it showed some useless error like “please try again later.”
Then I selected “change payment method” on the same screen and entered my debit card details instead of Apple Pay. When I went back and pressed the pay button, I immediately noticed that the discount code was no longer applied and I was charged the full amount.
At this point it honestly feels like this discount code is just a fake trick to fool people into downloading the app and boosting their customer numbers. I immediately contacted support and cancelled the order. I’m never using Deliveroo again.
In Azerbaijan this app operates under the name Wolt, and I never had a single issue there. But here in Dubai, Deliveroo is easily the worst service I’ve experienced.

I am writing this email with extreme frustration and anger regarding the disgraceful service I experienced with my recent cake order.
The order was falsely marked as “delivered” when I never received it. This is not a minor mistake — this is either gross negligence or deliberate misconduct.
When I contacted the driver, he had the audacity to demand an additional AED 30 to deliver an order that was already fully paid for. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about integrity and internal control within your platform.
Despite my effort to personally go to Dubai Mall Metro Station to collect the order, the driver ignored my request and instructed me to come to Dubai Mall parking instead. His tone was rude, arrogant, and highly unprofessional.

This kind of behavior is damaging to your company’s reputation and customer trust. I demand:
1. Immediate investigation of this driver
2. Full refund for the order
3. Strict disciplinary action taken without delay
Consider this my final notice. If this matter is not resolved immediately, I will file a formal complaint with Dubai Consumer Protection and escalate this legally. I will not tolerate being misled, disrespected, or asked for unauthorized payments.
I expect a prompt and serious response.
No breakfast today
My address, which I used multiple times before, has disappeared from the app. Tried to enter it again manually (automated recognition didn't work), in the process the app asked me to put a pin but the map's language in Arabic (which I don't speak). As a result, no breakfast. No contact number or a live chat for support. Awful experience

The worst experience ever, I placed an order and I never received it, when I contacted them, their reply was that the driver tried to reach me whilst he never did and the order was cancelled with nor refund to have!! They are the worst
Horrible customer support
Horrible customer support. I mean literally a masterclass in how to lose your customer in 2 minutes.
Apart from the spammy pop-ups, late deliveries, and weird app user experience, the customer support takes the crown.
An order came (a sandwich) where the wrapping was torn open inside the bag and the contents spilled out, when I contacted the customer support in regards the issue, the response was "We unfortunately can't help as there's not enough information to justify the problem" (a photo was sent of the massacre).
That response was so quick, which implies it was one of their copy/paste responses to dodge actually being useful.
There are tons of other and better delivery services across the UAE, just save yourself the disgusting treatment and quality, and go with anyone else.
Horrible experience
Horrible experience. Driver brought food after 1 hour and 20 mins, while the restaurant is 10 mins away. Food was very cold. Plus customer care didn’t want to support a client in such situation.
They scammed me
They scammed me. The restaurant had an issue and requested Deliveroo to refund me and Deliveroo refused to refund me even though the restaurant requested them to do so. They stole my money. Do NOT order through them. Their customer service are useless and unhelpful.

Deliveroo delivered to the wrong address and refused to refund a 169aed deliver. What a joke. Deleted the app for good and moved to Keeta.
Poor delivery standards
The order arrived in a terrible condition. The desserts were overturned, cream spilled everywhere, and fruits were scattered and crushed due to poor delivery standards
Worse service ever
Worse service ever. The driver called me I told him please let the order in reception he called again 10 min later when I was with a client and because I couldn’t pick up the phone he didn’t deliver the order but I didn’t get a refund or a new order so I paid and got nothing. I deleted the app, the worse service ever

Very poor . Imagine I ordered for my baby milk formula from the Deliveroo application . And it was totally deferent packaging looked really fake . once I received I contacted them directly but they refused to return even thought was not opened!
Spoke with two person from deliveroo explaining how totally deferent is the milk packaging and that I’m afraid to give my baby for the first time receiving from I know supermarket! they just refused to change at the end . Service is really bad and poor and not helpful !
I prefer always to stay with Talabat and noon they are the bests in UAE very helpful and useful .
