The worst delivery service in Dubai!
This is already the fourth time I’ve faced the same problem with Deliveroo. Every time I order groceries from any supermarket, my order arrives incomplete — always missing several items. Yet they charge the full amount every single time.
Today I spent one and a half hours together with the Deliveroo driver trying to solve the issue. Driver was very good guy. Neither customer service nor any manager could help us — not even after an hour of waiting and explaining.
Deliveroo is the most unprofessional and careless company I’ve ever dealt with. They don’t care about their customers or their own staff. There’s absolutely no focus on client service or responsibility.
Terrible experience — deleting this useless app immediately.

They making money by cheating 2 out of 10 customer,
They will show an offer and if we claim and order anything with that offer by our DEBIT card they will withdraw our money without any notification and meassage, and thet will tell that there is no solution,
I order food of 82.15 and it had offer 50 aed off, ao the amount was 32.15,
And after 1 hour i got food, and when i checking the balance they deduct 32.15 and 82.15 aed also,
They said there is no solution its system error

When you order online, it’s usually because you don’t have the time to go to the store yourself. If there’s an option to tick a gift receipt and you select it, and you even leave a note to the driver to make sure the order is gift-wrapped with the receipt, you expect it to be done. Instead, the order arrives without any of that. Then, with barely any time to spare, you end up talking to a Deliveroo agent who is polite but only gives standard responses without offering a real solution. I never asked for a refund or a credit note—just for them to coordinate with the store to arrange proper gift wrapping. And they couldn’t do it. What a complete waste of time!

Terrible service! Waited TWO hours for the delivery, when it arrived an item was missing. I contacted them immediately and provided pictures of the online receipt I had and that wasn’t good enough they wanted pictures of a paper receipt and food which was too late for me to do. I also could have took pictures of the food received but I could have easily lied and removed something else how would they know?
They won’t refund me £4.99 because of this so things must be tight for them!!
The driver however was polite.

I ordered a chicken sandwich meal from Pickl and they forgot the spciy fries. No big deal - it happens.
The total order was 65 dirhams or so.
I complained about the missing fries and they gave me a 5 dirhams credit, which was what i had paid to upgrade from normal fries to spicy.
They could not figure out that the credit due to me should be the cost of the fries not just the upgrade.
I tried to explain it to them but they said no.

He decided not to deliver my order and leave without communication.(on the app ot shows delivered, but the agent don't know where. Funny) Even the agent couldn't help. These people can't do the bare minimum when it comes to service. Never ordering from there again Talabat is wayyy better

I had a very disappointing experience with Deliveroo. My recent order was inedible, and I requested a full refund. Instead of resolving the issue, Deliveroo only refunded one-third of the total price, insisting that the restaurant was responsible.
This is unacceptable because:
Deliveroo is the platform – they take payments, manage the order, and contract with restaurants. Passing the blame onto the restaurant shows a lack of accountability.
Partial refunds are unfair – if the food was not fit to eat, customers deserve a full refund.
Customer service was unhelpful – instead of addressing my concern, they kept repeating that it wasn’t their responsibility.
As a paying customer, I expect Deliveroo to stand behind the service they profit from. Until they fix this policy and take responsibility, I cannot recommend Deliveroo.

Don’t ever use this app. I ordered food and due to system issue of the deliveroo app after 1 hour without even telling me they cancel the order and then they blame on the resturent. I don’t have my food and I don’t have my money for three days. Asked for a call back and they just rang one and hung up. Worst food app and no so der this has one star

I ordered my food at 8:10 PM and it was supposed to arrive by 8:55 PM, but it was finally delivered at 9:40 PM. The app did not update the delivery time until I started my second chat with support, and then suddenly showed 10:00 PM as the new arrival time. Support repeatedly claimed that “the bike broke down,” but this was a lie — the driver called me and said he had only picked up the food from the restaurant long after the promised time.
My niece was left hungry for over an hour. Deliveroo did not even call to apologise for the delay. There was no urgency, no accountability, and no empathy. This is not the first delay I’ve had with Deliveroo, and I cannot recommend their service.

Order was late and bad communication at customer service side
Order was late. After one hour of waiting, I contacted them. Amany over the chat was sarcastic and unrealistic, telling me that after one hour , and after exceeding the delivery time window that was provided when we order, the order is not considered late. they kept me on the chat for 20 minutes until the delivery guy came. That was 1.5 hrs waiting to receive the food.
Food arrived cold as well because of the delay.
She said the restaurant was late to give the food but as per their notification, it is their driver who arrived late to pick it up.

Worse experience i had with food orders, i payed by card but the delivery did not arrive then they said they went to a different location, i told them they have my number and they also have my correct address written in the App. Then the delivery said they will dispose it and we need to contact the customer service and when we did tbey said they cant help us, i already un installed the app and use NOON its so much better.
