I ordered the cream tea for 4 people for my dad’s birthday. It was nice but I don’t think the quality and quantity of the products reflects the expensive price point. The clotted cream was completely runny when it arrived too which was disappointing.

Easy to order, delivered on time and recipient loved it.

Great choice of goods and hamper size. What makes this company really shine is their customer service and dedication.

This was bought as a Christmas gift and the recipients were extremely happy. They particularly loved the pasties!

Good communication from ordering to when delivery is on the way and when it has been delivered. I was reliably informed by the recipients that the contents were really yummy!

Bought as part of Xmas present for my mum it arrived a day late when I asked her how they were she said the scones were a bit dry but the jam & cream helped to soften them. So I'm a little disappointed 😔

Fantastic! Hamper lovely, it was a Christmas gift and they were over the moon with it, such a treat.
Customer service was second to none, the delivery driver decided that their old bin (now used with dog poo bags) was a suitable place to drop the package into with no note where to it was and after the hunt to find it, the package was soggy and ruined, the company apologised (even though it wasn’t their fault) and had a new one with them the next day no problems at all, very impressed especially right next to Christmas! I would highly recommend to anyone.

The website and the selection of goods are excellent. The hamper looks great. There was an issue with the delivery company but after speaking to Lucy at Devon Hampers she managed to resolve the issue to get the hamper here.

We bought a Devon cream tea hamper for my mum-in-law who absolutely loved it. Being from Devon herself, her standards are high in these matters!

I ordered a hamper from Devon Hampers to brighten the day for my cousin, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy. While the hamper has finally reached her, the experience was far from satisfactory and involved additional expense and effort on my part—something I shouldn’t have had to deal with after paying for delivery.

Despite providing the correct address, including the postcode, the hamper was delivered to the wrong house—a completely different property about half a mile away. The courier, DX Express, relied solely on the postcode and ignored the clearly visible house name, which did not match the delivery address. This error caused unnecessary confusion and delay.

When I contacted Devon Hampers, their response was disappointing. They initially claimed the delivery was correct, only to later admit the mistake after I provided photographic evidence. Shockingly, their solution was to suggest my cousin “pop around” to collect the hamper herself—despite knowing she is undergoing chemotherapy and not in a position to travel.

Ultimately, someone else had to retrieve the hamper on her behalf, which added to my expense and stress. I fail to see why I paid for a delivery service that did not meet even the most basic expectations of accuracy and care. Devon Hampers’ handling of the situation lacked accountability, and their reliance on a courier that operates with such negligence is unacceptable.

While the hamper itself was lovely, the process of getting it to the right place turned what should have been a thoughtful gift into an ordeal. If you value reliability and a stress-free experience, I recommend considering alternative providers who take responsibility for ensuring your gift reaches the intended recipient without added hassle.
