Dog Training College Reviews

I have been involved with the Dog Training College for four years. I highly recommend them to anyone aspiring to become a dog trainer. I am continuously completing courses they provide all the time. The management team are so helpful and always there to advise and help you. I will not go to any other training college.

Since Rio and her team have taken over the business, the service have been amazing! The content of the courses is VERY thorough and knowledgeable. I paid for the course 2 years ago and only recently come back to it. Without Rio and her team, I would be lost without my studies!

I’m loving the new Skool platform and the content is incredibly high quality.

Thank you so much 🙏

I myself would never recommend this school. My partner is currently a student with this institution and has passed many modules/courses in a short space of time, 20 would be a rough guess, and is yet to receive her certificates for said modules/courses. 4 months later and still no certificates. Disputes have been made and have been ignored for those 4 months. As a result of this terrible example of poor customer service, my partner has issued a charge back on her credit card to regain her money to attain certificates in different institutions. In my honest opinion, steer clear of this institution. They seem to only want one thing. ££££

I’ve been part of DTC for a long time now & I’m almost at completion of their entire course library! The courses are well laid out & very clear to follow. Recently DTC have moved over to Skool which I think is very beneficial as it has a very strong community feel, professionals can discuss difficult cases, any issues someone may be having with coursework or even check on the Skool map for referral.
All in all a very positive experience.

Its a zombie company. Do not give them any of your money.

Terrible company, promise the world and it's a scam- avoid at all costs. All they want is your money - and lots of it- totally unethical company. Went bankrupt once !! Left lots of people who had paid 2k without any training or support. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Much better training available online - FOR FREE !!! Don't WASTE YOUR MONEY 🤑
And if you do join them, don't complain about anything because you will get blanked and ghosted !
Please don't let these crooks start up again 😩

After a year of studying i have only recived ONE of my offical certificates from the main cources (not including the short knowledge based ones)

Completed my dog trainer certification in july and........
Still no certificates recived or emails answerd........contacting a solictor now 🤬

Helpful people for training a new Bull Dog.

Don't give them a penny they have scammed me and so many other students.. declaring bankruptcy then opening again with new directors and anyone who paid for course doesnt get it... you have been warned... dont do it... coursework was rubbish anyway...

My log in details stopped working - bad replies, I paid for life long access yet clearly not? After a month I’ve been kicked off?

Scam company - stay far away, stealing from students who just want to do their best

It's a complete scam. They had financial trouble and closed down in 2025 only to open up again under a new company name but the login gets down and you lose access, there's no way to contact anyone, the people teaching the classes can be found online and strongly advise against purchase and even to make an official complaint.

Don't believe a word of the good reviews, this company went into administration and everyone who paid for a course of 2k never got any money back... they then started up again and will end up doing it again to new students.. please do not spend a penny you have been warned ...

Had a great experience with the mentors whilst gaining my certification

Dont bother, company gone down,
Courses were not worth their salt, wrong pet first aid information taught, teaching students to be a reactivity specialist?Certifying trainers in 3 months? Before throwing your money at these so called certifications, money gone down the drain, research your options, The Animal and behaviour training council has a list of professional companies where the criteria is externally assessed to a standard, imdt and dog training college are only interested in money. I have been unfortunately burnt by both. The standard of teaching is poor.

Signed up for lifetime membership...
Lots of things disappeared, no in person courses and then the company shut down leaving myself and others out if pocket!,

Company gone under and owes thousands of people thousands of pounds for services not delivered. They were still trying to take money after gone into administration. Keep promising the services will be back but it is always next month…. But we have been without the promised training courses since last year!

I enrolled with Dog Training College (trading as Innovaze Ltd) and paid for my course, but the entire experience became very worrying after just a couple of weeks.
• The phone lines were disconnected, and no one replied to emails or messages.
• The online learning platform frequently failed and many students could no longer access the content they’d paid for.
• Posts or questions raising concerns were deleted. And students were eventually blocked from writing anything or asking questions.
• The mentors publicly confirmed they had left the company, and students were left without guidance or feedback.
• Despite the company claiming to be CPD accredited, there was growing evidence that their CPD accreditation was no longer valid, and students were not being given clear answers when asked for proof.

After numerous promises that they were updating and improving their systems with ‘exciting new developments’ the company was then liquidated on 6th January 2026, leaving hundreds of students thousands of pounds out of pocket. They still tried to tell us that the assets were sold and our original courses would be honoured. Surprise, surprise this hasn’t materialised either and if you ask any questions concerning this, you are deleted and blocked from all their social media platforms

This company has gone into liquidation. Do not touch

One star is too kind for a “company” like this

I enrolled with the Dog Training College in 2025 with excitement to further my skills in the dog industry. Fast forward to 2026 and I’m left out of pocket and damaged by the whole process.

To future students that consider committing time effort and more importantly hard earned money with this company, short answer don’t, run away whilst you have the chance. I highly suggest doing research with other providers and opting for them.

Why do I say this? Because I paid £2000 for a course that could not be completed and was treated horrifically by the owners and directors and staff at the dog training college as were many other students. The owners were trying to play business whilst failing miserably and playing business with students hard earned cash. Which eventually saw the liquidation of the dog training college. They took students money and said that everything was ready to go and I could study and take my time with the course. Only months later for them to take the course offline because they hadn’t paid their hosting bill and then have no communication for months after during this period because behind the scenes they were being made bankrupt and didn’t have the gumption to communicate this to their students. Without mentioning names the two directors at this company have burnt trust, affected students businesses, and mental health and put their education back, simply because they saw ££££.

For me personally my business has been affected by this, my mental health has been severely affected. And my business has taken a £2000 hit. You may say why didn’t I do research on the company before parting ways with such a some of money. The truth is who actually checks what financial struggles a company is in? Especially one that holds themselves to being trustworthy and ethical. This company is anything but!

Lastly you’ll hear that the dog training college will be under new ownership, don’t believe it
New people may have bought the naming rights but they’ll soon hand it back over to the two culprits who got it so so wrong in the first place.

To new students - save your money invest it with another provider don’t be fooled by this shambles.
