I purchased the dog training course for £2000 in 2023 and from the very start I realised I had made a huge mistake, I didn’t find the way the course was ran helpful at all. An absolute joke of a company who have now left all of their students £2000+ out of pocket because they’ve been liquidated. Absolutely disgusting.

I wish I could give this company lower than 1 star. The level of lies and dishonesty is astounding and heartbreaking. They dissolve the company and say nothing. They haven’t just cost me £800 (I can’t get a refund due to time past and due to the nature of a self paced course) but also my goals. This company hides behind lies, deception and heartless dream sellers. Taking advantage of people who want to help and better the world of dogs and dog training. Absolutely disgusting!

Please update your site . This company is in liquidation and not in any way ethical.

A really good course, well delivered. Worth attending to understand body language of the dog

I recently completed the Canine Behaviour course at K9 Day Care and Education and was extremely impressed. The content was clear, engaging and really well structured. Even complex behaviour concepts became easier to understand. Laura showed deep knowledge and she has a real passion for dog welfare. It made the experience enjoyable and inspiring.
It was good to talk through examples and how I can apply what I learnt for my own dogs behaviours. I’ve already noticed a difference by being able to better understand body language and managing reactive moments more confidently.
The support from Laura is excellent and questions were answered promptly and informatively.
I would recommend the course to anyone looking to better understand your dog, improve behaviour and strengthen your bond. It’s informative, professional and a great course.

Was difficult to get into at first due to the videos not working so having to read the transcripts, however now the videos are up and running again it was a easy and rewarding experience to follow along with. I have dived straight into my second crash course with this one being slightly longer.

Can I give a zero?!

No communication, now temporarily closed. Unprofessional staff. I passed my qualification an had to wait 7 months for my certificate - still haven't received my ID badge - but now the college is temporarily closed... not surprised... utter shambles!

This is a sad one to see as I was accredited on their Dog Trainer Course in March this year and up until that point everything was going fine. The course was fully accessible with great support from the Coaching Calls especially. All seemed well.

I then received notice of an All Access pass for their content, £499 all in. A considered purchase but I thought I'd go for it. Later, checking on my Course List nothing appeared and I couldn't get video to play on my other past courses. Videos Not Available at the present time.
Alarm bells were ringing.

A few days later I received notification of a refund. This lead me to start looking into this and it brought me here. Looking at the recent reviews it seems things at DTC have dropped off a cliff edge and are in financial trouble.
What a let down for all the students and I hope all those still doing courses get recompense in some way.
There were some really helpful guys on that course that put a lot into it and it's disappointing hear that they got shafted too.

I bought the dog training certification course in May, to start in June. I was told then that there wasn’t a later course to book onto, but if i wasn’t quite ready to start then i could start it at my own pace and take my time. i was assured that i would have lifetime access and it did not matter how long the course took me. I was also told that they could not take credit card and were filling up, so i needed to pay soon.

in hindsight, much of the above was a red flag. things have been going downhill fast. largely all the mentors and admins have left the company, even the CEO leanne. they have all cited not being paid as the primary reason for leaving.

all of the video resources are inaccessible and have been since late september. the company said it was an AWS server issue, but later deleted that statement when i mentioned that all other AWS server issues had been resolved in a couple of hours.

speaking of deleting things - the admins that are left continue to delete our public comments and posts on their social media and in the community app when we try to ask what is going on. the phone line is down, and all emails to support have gone unanswered.

to add to this all, the course is no longer CPD accredited, as of august. this means that even if the resources and mentors were still available, we still wouldn’t get a real certification at the end of it.

after some digging, it seems they are about to enter bankruptcy. they have an insolvency officer who has recommended they go into liquidation. despite this, and the fact they have no mentors or courses available to speak of at the moment, they are still selling courses.

i find this truly heartbreaking, as the community is so lovely and the course seemed to start with so much promise.

if you’re looking at the reviews because you’re in a similar boat to me, or if you’re looking at these wondering whether to buy a course, just know there are a large group of us owed collectively over £100k by this business for these courses that we couldn’t finish. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!

Please do not buy a course from this company. All the mentors have left and the company is continuing to trade whilst repaying creditors. People who have passed the course still have not received their certificates from June , the phone lines are dead and we as students that have paid £2,000 for the course are left in the dark…I am 60% through the course and have no way of contacting the company. The director has left - Leanne MC Wade has put a statement on her FB page…

I enrolled with Dog Training College (trading as Innovaze Ltd) and paid a substantial amount of money for my course, but the entire experience has become very worrying.
• The phone lines are now disconnected, and no one replies to emails or messages.
• The online learning platform frequently fails, and many students can no longer access the content they’ve paid for.
• Posts or questions raising concerns are often deleted, and it appears that private in-app messages have been accessed or read by staff, which feels like a serious breach of privacy.
• Several tutors have publicly confirmed they have left the company, and students are left without guidance or feedback.
• Despite the company claiming to be CPD accredited, there is growing evidence that their CPD accreditation may no longer be valid, and students are not being given clear answers when asked for proof.

Many of us have reported the situation to Trading Standards, the Ombudsman, and relevant consumer protection agencies.

I strongly urge anyone considering enrolling to research recent reviews and verify all claims before paying.

I’ve joined a student support group for those affected, as hundreds of us are now trying to recover our money and find legitimate training alternatives.

So, despite starting this course in September 2024here we are a year later, September 2025 and everything has completely fallen apart.

All the mentors have gone, there’s been talk of a “restructure,” yet that seems to translate to “ignore the students, leave them in the dark & keep taking their money.”

None of the module videos are working, meaning we can’t even study properly!

It’s such a shame because the course started off brilliantly, informative, supportive & easy to follow with helpful coaching calls & great resources. But now? Emails go unanswered, the phone lines are dead, messages on the Vault & student Facebook page are ignored or deleted.

At this point it genuinely feels like the company is being dissolved and students money is being taken without explanation. I’m absolutely disgusted by how this has been handled and will be looking into legal action to recover my money.

Avoid the DTC - they’ve completely let their students down!

Unable to give more than 1 currently as nobody is answering the phone or responding to emails or messages or confirming messages on ANY platforms was highly recommend DTC but can't even complete my onboarding form without problems and nobody will help me im so disappointed especially with the cost of the course I'm unable to start this review is my last hope at getting a response or acknowledgement

If you want no communication, no mentors, and invest thousands of pounds without receiving any certificates or access to the videos, then this course is for you! Honestly, I wish I had listened to the bad reviews.

The company has grown far too big for its boots and currently has no mentors available to coach, which is promised when signing up for the Dog Training Certification Program. The phone lines have been cut off, so you can’t contact the ‘office’ to voice concerns. Emails are ignored, and Facebook and Vault comments are deleted when you say you haven’t had a reply.

The videos for the courses constantly don’t work, and we get one poor excuse after another for the reason. When the videos are available, they are out of date and provide incorrect information (first aid). When I asked about this, I was told they would be redone, but nothing ever happened, and they are still available, providing the incorrect and unsafe information.

Furthermore, I have now discovered their CPD accreditation expired in August 2025. They are still advertising they are accredited on their website, which is breaking the law. When trying to warn students this is the case (many of them only signing up a week or two ago!) I was suspended from using their online platform.

This ‘company’ really is a joke! Save your money and use another company!

Professional, educational, wide variety of dog training topics available. Study, Tasks, quizzes and Certifications are online and easy to access.

I did not like the loose leash training.

Had a great "teacher" (not sure if that's the right word). Practicing CPR and bandaging was especially helpful.

Terrible, don’t bother. The trainers are always cancelling and moving calls, they repeat the same things over and over again. It’s overpriced and lacks structure. And they leave you to your own devices 99% of the time. You could learn everything they don’t teach you on YouTube. Save your money.

Expert trainer. Very knowledgeable and great delivery.

It was very informative and a lot to take in. But all the notes will help. Unfortunately the videos didn't work which I would have liked to have watched to see the exercises in action as to reading them on the screen.
