Very Poor Experience
I hate to give a bad review but sometimes it is needed.
Ordered an item that was supposed to take 3-5 days to deliver. When it did not arrive contacted Electrical World and was told it was on the way to them. No problem, delays can happen. During a 17 day period of waiting I had to keep contacting them for an update, they never proactively attempted to contact me. Kept getting very vague information from their Customer Service. It was very obvious after 17 days this was never going to be delivered.
They have no phone number you can contact them on and the email responses are very poor and unprofessional.
You may as well order directly from China yourself for half the price and at least you will get it.

Awful customer service
Awful customer service. Ordered 3 bulbs (all the same kind) only one turned up. After chasing they said the missing ones would be with me soon. A month passed and still no sign of the other two. I chased again and got told they’d be with me the following week. They are yet still to turn up. Have had to chase again today! I don’t understand why it’s so hard to complete an order that they’ve taken payment for. Customer service hasn’t been the politest or empathetic or even given any sort of gesture of good will or apology. Really frustrating, would not use again!

Items received were as described and took around 4 days to arrive.
Prompt processing of my order but minor hiccup with the update emails regarding the dispatch and delivery process. The Hermes tracking link provided in the dispatch update email did not work, but going directly into the Hermes website 24 hours later worked immediately, and I was able to obtain tracking information using the original tracking codes. I will definitely use the company again.

Great Customer Service
I ordered a hot tub from Electrical World. Unfortunately through no fault of the company, we discovered a leak not long after having used it. (Covered by the manufacturers warranty)
The return process had a few hiccups but over all the communication process back and forth was excellent.
I would not hesitate in using this company again.

Poor packaging and lack of refund
Their range of products and costs are good, however their packaging is so poor, all 3 products I ordered were damaged. Also I have sent 4 emails requesting a refund, which they have agreed to but 6 weeks later I still haven't received a refund. I won't buy from them again.

Getting my plants through the hot spell
I placed an order for a Gardena solar irrigation set that arrived promptly. There was a part missing so I contacted Electrical World and advised them of this and asked if the item could be used without the part. They took the time and effort to check with the manufacturer also arranging for the missing part to be sent to me. Communication has been excellent even on a Sunday. I will most definitely order from Electrical World again and share my experience with family and friends. Thank you Electrical World

Delayed Order - 4 week delivery
Order was supposed to be dispatched in 2-4 days but unfortunately was delayed and took 4 weeks to arrive. In fairness, the customer service email was responsive when I contacted them but just kept insisting the order was marked as urgent and the delays were caused as they had to move the products from their other warehouse first. Sounds like drop shipping. If you need something urgently, shop somewhere else. Products are as described though.
