Canceled plans
Unfortunately we could not tour Dover Castle due to political unrest onshore. Aniezka was very helpful in canceling our tickets and refunding our money.

Castle on the coast that gives the most!!
Excellent coastal setting with an amazing entrance bridge. The site is well laid out with a good one way footpath and informative boards. Once there you have the bonus of a good cafe and not to miss exhibition.

A return visit
We last visited Lindisfarne Priory some seventeen years ago and what difference - the visitors centre and the signage both vastly improved resulting in a very worthwhile visit.

It was quite a well preserved castle…
It was quite a well preserved castle with wonderful views at the top. Most of it was castle walls with a 360 degree view of the surrounding countryside. Advisable to take binoculars.

Conner's Bunker Event
The event started on time. Conner who presented the information was very enthusiastic and this came over very well, people were at ease enough to ask questions and contribute their first hand experiences.
It would have been extra exciting if the bunker had been drained and was available to view - hopefully EH will access the necessary funding for this.
Conner spoke rather fast and for anyone whose' s first language wasn't English would have struggled to keep up.

speedy resolution
I had cause to call in and ask for administrative help on my parents account, this was resolved quickly and with understanding. I'd been expecting to get the "no dice without account holder instruction," thankfully I was wrong.

Helpful customer service
