Helpful customer service
I was desperate to change my tickets to Stonehenge after finding there were some timing limitations to other attractions we wanted to see during our trip. Catisa was kind enough to return my email and change our tickets.

Rievaulx is a beautiful location. We enjoyed coffee from the restaurant at he end of our picnic lunch sitting at one of the benches with a view of the Abbey - and the sun shone for us! We explored the ruined abbey and found the boards gave us interesting information and encouraged a closer look and conversation with one another. The only disappointment was that having telephoned to check with both English Heritage and the National Trust the day before Rievaulx Terrace was not open as I had been told by both organisations. Perhaps better liaison would help?? We combined our visit with a walk from the visitor centre on Sutton Bank instead.

EH cancelling Members!
Members for 10 years, renewing our membership by direct debit.
Imagine our surprise, some time after having received our new cards, we have apparently cancelled our membership!
Email to EH has been ignored.
Before anyone suggests a problem with our account, it is always comfortably in credit. This is an EH error.
Clearly they don't want members.

Understated
I thought that the information about the battle was somewhat biased. Harold actually snatched defeat from the jaws of victory having had all of the massive tactical advantage of the high ground and having his opponent's options constrained by the the marshes.
Given the historical significance of of William's victory I think a lot more credit should be given to the victor to balance the account.
