I wanted to put zero stars. My aunt passed away and I am Executor. Death certificate was sent early, but grant of probate sent on 10/7/26. She had shares in 3 companies, each of relatively low value. Equiniti would not give a valuation of the shares on the date of death which is needed for the IHT calculation. I was told to work it out myself!!
I have received 11 letters from equiniti, most of which needed replies and forms to be completed, and the sales are still not yet completed.
Totally hopeless and unhelpful customer service, both over the phone and by post. It feels like obstacles are deliberately put in the way of selling the shares and receiving outstanding dividends.
Appalling.

Thanks Kathiravan V S. You're the first person I've spoken to there who was not determined to stick to a pre-determined script from the outset, irrespective of my trying to help Equinti before a problem occurred.

This review is only about one person at EQ. She sorted out my issues called back when she promised. The others had no clue and dismissed everything waiting days of my time. Plz employ more Vaishnavi Jori.

Vitally important help was given to me in the kindest possible way. With great patience and gental guidance, I was guided to complete all the forms required. This wonderful person is a real STAR!

Have been waiting for 4 months to receive a statement of pension and still nothing. They still haven't / won't tell me how much my pension fund is valued at. What it will be like to actually try and claim MY money lord only knows.
Horrendous experience , yet another company where the customer is an inconvenience.

It did not take very long for someone to answer the call. The man who assisted me was calm and clear. He was very patient and guided me through the process on the computer. He could not have done more to help me and gave me two options of how to move forward.
I wish I got someone like him every time I need help.

When you can eventually get hold of these people then they are very polite and helpful....however their systems and processes are out of the Arc when compared to other government pension providers e.g the NHS, where everything is transparent on the app...in summary it's really painful dealing with this company. Please do better, because you're pretty rubbish at the moment

But 35 minute wait for telephone call answer.

Was advised that I would receive 2 x forms to complete via the post to finalise the transfer of shsteholdings. 4 weeks later I’ve still not received them. Very disappointing

Helpful all the way, patient, with clear instructions as to how to find forms and send them by postal mail for a UK shareholder resiident abroad. A great relief!

I rang for help with login details and was given excellent service. now able to login straight away.

My enquiry/issue was dealt with in a patient, knowledgeable and efficient manner by the individual answering my call.

Getting through to someone is a nIghtmare.
First time I gave up after 50 minutes
Second time it took 40 minutes to get through.
Completely unacceptable
Equiniti only deserve 1 star for that.

THE ONLY SEASON I HAVE TICKED 5 STAR IS FOR KISHOR KUMAR WHO WAS GREAT
