I received really useful advise and help from Shaifqur - Well done! One comment, it took me 3 go's on Live Caht to get connected because I was timed out for not giving a response which I was typing. Frustrating as it was within one minute. I between those failures I tried to call, the two options in the menu were not applicable and kept repeating - You may want to review this

Guna was amazing so helpful

Equiniti works very well online - until something goes wrong, then - reasonably - you are directed to their phone helpline. Which took 50 minutes to connect to an agent today - DISGRACEFUL and possibly illegal. In fact the advice given didn't work so we had to start again.
this part is a suggestion rather than a complaint - the agents are indeed patient and helpful - find a way to save time so that the agents can handle more calls per manhour

Selling my shares online, really struggled, rang the helpline twice and spoke with 2 very helpful and patient men, they where both so very helpful, couldn’t have done it without them 😊

Spoke to AI Chat and it directed me to an Agent called Thomas, and what a friendly, and swift response agent he was and he knew exactly what I need too do and he helped me get through it too get too my problem sorted!! I cannnot fault him what a credit too your team!! Brillaint

Great service from the person I spoke with - thorough and informative

Positive, the agent was helpful with providing the information and directions needed.
Negative is the time and levels to get in contact with a person. Both by phone and through the chat.
Suggest, adding s "speak with agent" option with the hello message when starting a chat.

Has take a few calls, reloading the correct app and explanation of the process and changes in shareholder reference number depending on state of whether ordinary share, employee scheme, etc. So, overall experience - ability to even log in, tracing various accounts, a nightmare, and there are different teams for things like ISA transfers, access enquiries which can have 30 minute queues.
Somewhat rescued by Mohammed today who spent an hour explaining everything, fixing access and visibility of all accounts. Very professional, calm and patient.
Hopefully won't have to call again

I was unable to speak to anyone at Equiniti today although I waited on the phone for more than 45 minutes. This was a problem that couldn’t be dealt with online. Very frustrating and totally unacceptable and unprofessional!

Very professional service, clear interface and information provided promptly. An agent dealt with my query immediately and provided excellent service.

I complained about Equiniti about a month ago about their logisitcal processes to sell shares as a non UK-resident. They replied to my message but never contacted me again. Luckily I have an update, and it only got worse.

I was told to print out their postal forms and send those to the UK to sell my shares. In this form I had to write down all information regarding shareholder reference number and all my passport information as well as that from the other shareholder including wet signatures. We sent these forms to the UK, costing us some money. A week later we get the forms returned to us askin us for EXTRA verification from us. They want us to go to a NOTARY or GOVERNMENT BODY to verify our documents. This would cost us even more money and time. Furthermore it is ridiculous because we already gave them copies of our documents and provided all information they needed.

I also get a phone call, once again form India. It is a nice person but once again I can barely understand what they need from me, but I do understand one thing. He tells me, that if I don't like working with Euiniti, I should find another broker in England to sell my shares. PROBLEM SOLVED! This is the most ridiculous company I have ever worked with.

To summarize, I started trying to sell my shares on September 14, we are now on October 7 and it seems trying to sell the shares is impossible for someone not in the UK because they will just send back every letter we send them. We get no compensation for the letters or their processes. This is, THE WORST company every to keep your shares.

P.S. They constantly leave fake 5 star reviews for themselves, stay away from this company.
