The company responded positively to a misunderstanding in product promotion.
At first, I had a bad experience with the company, given that the service's promotion implies that after payment, the phone to be tracked will be located without further processing, when in reality, it requires acceptance on the device to be tracked.
However, after commenting on this on this platform, the company, realizing that I had paid for something other than what they were offering, decided to refund the fee.
This speaks highly of the company and demonstrates that their intentions were not to deceive, but perhaps there was poor communication in the product promotion.
That's why I changed my review.

To locate your family or friends, go to the Map screen -> My Circle, tap the 3 dots next to its name, then tap 'Invite new member' and choose how to send the invite. Please note that we need consent from the other person before they can join. Alternatively, they can join your Circle using the Circle ID by tapping 'Join Circle' and entering the ID.

I signed up for a 4.99 trial. They added a 39.99 monthly fee without asking me. Their technical support did not help me cancel it. I finally figured it out myself.

There is something seriously wrong with the customer service of this company
I took out a $4.99 subscription and they deducted eight times the amount from my card
I have reached out to them a number of times and all I get is an automated response.
When investigating the company address, it seems to be a satellite or virtualoffice.
That is no contact telephone number for them and I’m now in a position where I’m going to have to take legal action against them to recover the money.
This is a strong warning that no one should deal with this company

This company does not have a telephone…
This company does not have a telephone help line, just automated email responses and FAQ files. Their website somehow automatically gets you to subscribe without your knowing and so the credit card gets charged, difficult to navigate to undubscibe. Also, you can only track those smartphones that agree to be tracked by clicking on an invite that you send.

They are horrible
They are horrible! They also lie when telling you you can have a free 5 day trial.Don't believe them. I went on and did not like it first day. I wrote them that I am not interested in this locator and want to end family locator.
They charged me! Then they charged me again next month (which is this month).
Look at the reviews. If they were that good, they would have five stars. They are a rip off!

I’m very disappointed with…
I’m very disappointed with Family-Locator.com.
I initially signed up for a trial period through their website on my PC, then logged into the same account on my iPhone. However, the subscription didn’t appear under my iPhone’s settings. Concerned, I immediately sent them an email to cancel the subscription during the trial period.
Despite this, five days later, I was charged $39.99 through PayPal. I contacted them again and requested a refund, especially since they advertised a money-back guarantee. The only response I received was that my subscription had been canceled — but I was never refunded.
I also filed a dispute through PayPal, but unfortunately, my claim was denied and the payment was not returned.
Based on this, I would not recommend Family Locator to others.

Disgusting customer service. I have emailed 5 times to cancel subscription as I did it through website and cannot cancel through phone. They have not replied and continue to charge me monthly. They are shocking and sneaky in their tactics!

To cancel your Apple subscription, open the Settings app, tap your name, select Subscriptions, choose the subscription, and then tap Cancel Subscription.
If you ordered via Play Store (Android): Go to the Play Store on your device. Then tap on Menu > Subscriptions. Find Family Locator subscription there and disable auto-renew.
If you purchased your subscription on our website, you can cancel it there as well. Simply log in to your account at Family Locator, go to Subscription Management, and select the subscription you'd like to cancel.
If you require assistance, please contact our support team at help@family-locator.com and we will do our best to assist you.
