Product is very inconsistent
My first order for all Ash was 11/25. Very satisfactory burnt well and delivery was prompt and efficient. I had an email in March offering a special price for an end of Premium hardwood deal at £269. I ordered it and it arrived promptly. However, the "Premium Hardwood" was nowhere near the quality I was expecting and as illustrated on the website. I wrote an email to the company to complain, rather than put a poor review on TrustPilot. The gist was "An unidentifiable assortment of wood that looks like it has been through a machine that has crushed and milled each log such that they are severely frayed on all surfaces. When burnt, the fraying catches quickly and is gone leaving a blackened centre that in most cases, tends to smoulder not burn properly. The crate also contained about 20% of pieces that should better be described as large kindling than logs." I have not had a reply.

Why only 4 *
Why only 4 *. Simple, nobody is perfect, but they sure come close. This is our 2nd year of using Firewood, hopefully that will continue. Placed the 2nd part of this years orders on a Thursday afternoon, and it was here by 08.30 on the following Monday.
While we didn't recieve adequate notice, from the delivery company, the drivers were very helpfull in their duties. Bought 3 full crates of Birch, will order the 4th when the weather is better.

Firewood.co.uk failed to deliver my order, citing access issues even though I selected ‘restricted access’ when ordering, emailed with details, and they delivered to the same address 6 months ago. There was no communication of this with me until I chased for an update. They tried to charge me £42 for their failure to deliver the product and service sold. After almost two weeks, I have not received my order or a refund and am getting no response from the company.

Very poor!!
Very poor!!
On placing the order I mailed your delivery dept requesting no delivery on the 14/15th. This was ignored.
7am on the 14th I received a text, as my wife was preparing to take me to the hospital, delivery that day 8 to 10am. I had to make alternative arrangements and leave my wife to receive the delivery.
On arrival she informed the driver that she thought it not what I had ordered. Later that day I phoned F-UK and explained to a young woman that a bag with a base area of 700x800x900 with some loose logs on top had been delivered. She told me that’s not our produce, she would check and phone back.
On not being called back I mailed F-UK repeating the information.
On or about the 17th they phoned me to tell me that my crate had been smashed so they had repacked it into the bad. I explained that it was impossible to fit 2cu m into that bag which was greeted with disbelief. Eventually it was arranged for a cropper delivery and collection of the bag. This was delivered but they had not told the driver about collection. He took it anyway.
I would state that on both occasions the driver was courteous and helpful. He told us that there was in face a second bag sat at the depot with no labelling.
At no time during or since was any apology or expression of concern offered by F-UK.

Really disappointed with the quality
Really disappointed with the quality. Seems like I have received pallet of wood rejects.
Some are too small and more like kinderling. Others way to large to even fit in my stove.
Messaged firewood.co.uk but no reply at all.
Won't be using them again and won't recommend if they have no customer service

Ordered max crate of hardwood and came following day within the quoted email timescale.
Wood extremely dry as advertised.
Usually buy 30litre sacks of wood from local supplier @ 9.50-£11.00.
Buy purchasing online and at a discounted rate have saved a few hundred pounds.
Took 3hrs to unpack and fill the log shed but bit of fat burning work doesn't do anyone harm.
Will definitely use again next year when I need to restock.

My go to company for kiln dried firewood, usually silver birch.
A bit of a mix up re delivery dates with my recent order but was quickly resolved by the company and my order was received within a couple of days.
Very good price and quality logs , huge crateful, much more than other companies and considerably cheaper.
Delivered promptly within the tracking timeline.

Ordering and delivery were great and…
Ordering and delivery were great and the quality of the logs is fantastic. My only issue is what to do with the crate they were delivered in. My neighbour had to dismantle it and take it to the tip. I live on my own and could not even move it when all the logs were removed.
