Simple but outstanding service.

Overall my experience with Flatfair was positive. The process of paying my deposit was smooth, straightforward, and hassle-free.
However, I did find the deposit amount to be quite high, especially considering that it is non-refundable. We rented a two-bedroom flat for £1,660 per month, and each tenant was required to pay £278 to Flatfair, just wondering why it isn’t a per flat deposit. While I understand that Flatfair operates on a deposit alternative model, I found the cost difficult to justify, particularly as the payment is non-refundable at the end of the tenancy.
Greater transparency about how the fee is calculated and the value it provides would help customers better understand the rationale behind the charge.

My experience with their staff was extremely disappointing. I found them to be consistently rude and lacking in basic customer service and relationship management skills.

Throughout my interactions with them, I felt that tenants were treated with very little respect or empathy. Rather than working with tenants to find reasonable solutions, they often came across as dismissive and pressured people into accepting their position without considering individual circumstances. It felt as though compassion and professionalism were missing from many of our interactions.

Good customer service is about understanding that every tenant's situation is different. A little empathy and willingness to work with people can go a long way, especially in an industry that depends on building trust and maintaining positive relationships with tenants. I hope the company invests in improving its customer service standards, as the quality of my experience fell well below what I expected.

The process was seamless; however, the subscription fee seemed slightly higher than I expected. What I like about this option is that I didn’t have to worry about the additional deposit, as I don’t have the required amount at the moment.
