Returned a faulty kettle which had a 2 year warranty. After two ignored emails to customer services, I went into the store. I got a receipt for the refund and was told it would appear in my account but it has been 2 months and still haven't received my refund. I have since emailed once and phoned up twice and still no success.

Horrendous customer service. 5 school uniform items missing from an online order delivered to my home despite the parcel note stating all items were packeged. 4 telephone calls, 2 emails and still no items dispatached, no refunds and no correspondence. They tried to blame Evri when the error is with them. Its costing parents enough to purchase uniform and Asda George are willingly leaving parents/families out of pocket due to their terrible service. Ill keep trying but looking at the reviews Im losing hope.

The most utterly incompetent company I've ever tried to purchase anything from.
Ordered a garden table with 4 chairs and so far each attempt to deliver has had either the chairs or the table missing from the order. They finally delivered 4 chairs and a trampoline after a week of phone calls to customer services.
They've promised to collect the trampoline and dispatch the right goods, however after all the aggro and issues so far I'm not exactly confident that's going to happen - I get the impression the people on the end of the phone are finding all the problems amusing.
Not going to bother with Asda or George again.
Asda George lost item in transit
Asda said they lost the item in transit. Sale item bought 5 days ago and tracking said its on its way. All they offered was a refund. Total waste of time contacting customer services every day. Told each time the item was being delivered to store. Never arrived. The store was not going to sell us the item in the shop as the price difference. They must resolve their stock control system or crack down on the stolen stock. Not very good with the apology.

Very awful customer service. They took my money and never refunded it.
I ordered a microwave worth nearly £60 and returned it to the Asda store where I collected it. Despite returning the item, I never received my refund. I visited the store several times and contacted customer service by phone on multiple occasions, but nothing was resolved.
Now they are saying that more than a year has passed, so they can’t do anything about it. Instead, they offered me a £10 voucher, which is ridiculous.
Before buying anything from them, please think twice😡😡

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE ASDA GEORGE!! I ordered school uniform for click and collect spending £134. My delivery was coming in 2 parcels, 2 items arrived and the other kept saying on way. When I rang customer service they told me it was lost. I had to wait a week for my refund and they gave me a £15 voucher. I ordered again and spending another £134 to be told the same thing has happened again. When I went in to my local store even the people who work for Asda told me never order from them. They now get their deliveries via evri and everyone’s parcels are getting lost or damaged! Awful service since changing with evri!!!

Awful service from Asda George click and collect. Item was to be available for collection 5pm on Friday 3rd July. Tracking just says on way. 2 phone calls made and still no delivery. Complaint sent via email. No reply. Still waiting 13 July. No updates.

Online service is poor, badly packed boxes and broken items and they never refund until you chase them
Every time I order from George I am disappointed. Their packing is abysmal with fragile items wrapped in some brown paper inside a massive cardboard box with nothing to hold it in place. The box is always flimsy and arrived ripped open somewhere. Something is always broken. And when you return items whether it be by courier or to a store I always end up having to chase the refund weeks later as I notice they haven’t automatically refunded me. How many people don’t check? They must get away with so much money. I won’t be buying from them again.

Goods dispatched but did not arrive and I'm still chasing a refund after more than a month and despite numerous phone calls. Keep being advised there is an issue on their side with processing the refund.

I ordered school uniforms for my son: 2 packs of trousers (4 items total) and 1 pack of white shirts (5 shirts). What ASDA’s warehouse actually packed was an absolute joke. They randomly threw in 1 pack of trousers and TEN blue shirts (5 for boys and 5 for girls) instead of the white ones I ordered. The second pack of trousers was missing completely, replaced by random girls' clothes!
I immediately returned everything that was wrong. ASDA customer service acknowledged their massive blunder and even sent messages confirming that my refunds (£12.80 and £11.19) were processed. But guess what? The money never arrived.
Now I am forced to waste my time fighting for justice through a PayPal dispute just to get my £23.99 back because ASDA is withholding my funds for their own warehouse incompetence. Absolute nightmare, completely unreliable for school shopping. Avoid!!!!!

Asda George, has the worst customer service I have ever come across. I purchased an Air fryer on line on the 2nd June, which was supposed to arrive the next day in store. After three weeks past, I contacted there customer service team and chased the item up. They said they would escalate the matter. Another week went by and no response. I contacted them again and requested a refund, which I was told would take 3-5 working days. It's now been two weeks since that call and I've had to contact them again to chase the refund, only to be told that the email the customer service team sent hadn't been responded to. I am now going to have to call for a fourth time, again to chase up the refund. I would never purchase anything on line with them again. Terrible customer service 😡

I've never had problems with items purchased, just wrong item sent ,and return by store, but, waiting for the refund on those items was ridiculous.
My experience is do not wait for the 14 days, call customer service, for your refund. That's the only way you will get your refund.
I waited 4 and 3 months before getting the refunds. And if you get the AA when dialing Asda, (LOTS DO) you'll have a laugh with their customer service reps and they connect you automatically to Asda .

First order was payed next day delivery I have to chase them over week to hear that is lost somewhere. Recorder and once again payed next day home delivery they send order to InPost locker a mile from me I did hose there and InPost locker was broke. After several phone calls again I was told I need to wait week till they fix locker to collect order and then could return it if I am not happy with . Complete disaster.Beware ....
