Appalling service and a waste of time ordering. I purchased a cot last month because another retailer went out of stock for the same one, there was no communication keeping me up to date on the order, the day it was supposed to be delivered I get notified there’s a delay with no explanation and have to call customer services to find out what’s going on and then when the order is delivered they give me the wrong cot. I call customer service again which wasn’t helpful I’m informed I have to wait for a collection of the item and a replacement can take 3-5 working days and only when it’sbeen collected and they’ve received it I must call to order the replacement I then say forget it just refund me I’m told I must bring it to a store which is physically impossible so they then say they it will be collected at some point. The whole experience has been poor and the standard of service abysmal

Terrible service no wonder they are in debt ordered next day delivery never come got a email to say refunded delivery which the did waiting for item 2 then got a email to say they have gave me a refund no explanation or nothing won’t be shopping with these cowboys anymore

My case number 05419361. There is no customer service in Asda George. Absolutely appalling from a big known retailer. I purchased a dehumidifier which came with 3 year warranty, I returned it after using it a year and half because it became faulty and was advised by customer service on phone to return in store. It was confirmed that they received my item but no refund was given. I am waiting for my £149.00 refund. It’s been 3 weeks and I have emailed customer service, spoken to them on phone and getting lied to saying it has been escalated twice now with no updates whatsoever. I want to make an official complaint but customer service is non existent. They absolutely do not respond to emails. I will have to go through my bank now. I was a loyal customer but will never shop with them again. Asda George stealing from their customers. You’ve got your product back and I am out of money.

Was supposed to collect an order from store on 6th June, no emails, text etc recieved regarding collecting tracking just said on its way, have called customer services 6 times over the past month, and am having to chase for a refund after being repeatedly told I would recieve one but still nothing..Will not order from them again.

Placed an order on 07.06.2026. Not even half of my order has arrived. No one answers when my other items will be send. The order is with status “delievered”.

DO NOT NUY ANYTHING FROM GEORGE ONLINE. Worst online shopping experience and customer service is none. We bought patio set online and received half products without chairs. Couple days later side half goods have been stolen. They said they can't replace it and I have to rerun the parts back then order the complete set myself. Absolute outrageous. I called and complained why can't they just replace it but they said it's company policy they can't do it. They setup a case number then left it & do nothing. Called them again and said given answer in 24hr-48hrs. Guess what, nothing again. We had enough and requested the refund now. They kept saying sorry but I don't think they meant it.

I’d like to start by saying I never write these and usually read them thinking how exaggerated they are and must be more to the story.
Horrific customer service. Robbed of £170 for items that were damaged in transit & never recieved. I placed a click & collect order and they never turned up. I am 21 days in to trying to retrieve my money back.
I have been lied to and messed around, told it’s processed then told to wait x amount of days then a further x amount of days. I will NEVER order from here again and I only usually ever buy all 3 of my children’s clothes from here, not anymore.

Love George clothing but parcels are always going missing as Evri doesn't deliver them to the door.

Well, I've had my final shop at George Asda. The combination of Evri as the delivery company and George Asda's inability to run an online business, really is the perfect storm. Latest parcel lost as is standard order of the day for Evri. 3 phone calls to George Asda Customer Services requesting my refund - nothing received after dates given had been and gone. Finally got it processed today after the latest advisor tried spinning a yarn about having to wait another 2 weeks. Refused to accept that so she finally refunded onto my card. Never ordering from here again.

UPDATE: 20 MINUTES AFTER I POSTED THIS REVIEW, I RECEIVED A TEXT THAT MY ITEM READY FOR COLLECTION.

Should be a minus rating... I WILL NEVER USE ASDA GEORGE CLICK & COLLECT AGAIN...

Order came in 3 different deliveries? 2 were ready to collect but one was showing as 'On it's Way'? It took ages to get through to Customer Services but I was promised an email advising when the other parcel was being delivered to the store as I wasn't making 2 trips. Heard absolutely nothing?? Called today after a long wait again & was told the parcel I'm waiting for has been lost in transit?? Let's see how long the refund takes!! Disgraceful with no communication at all!! They should follow up on why this has happened but these big companies aren't bothered about keeping their customers happy...

Poor customer service items that are not fit for purpose made for children with knots in wood wood cracking at the touch of a nail refuse refunds rude customer service scam on the rewards too as they never apply anything even when you follow their complicated rules it’s a joke of a company

OK where is my order. Supposed to be delivered on Thursday 2nd July and collect after 5.00. Says on line in transit. I spoke on the phone to customer services and was told it would arrive after 2.00 on Friday NOTHING still in transit. Saturday afternoon went into Local Asda know lots of staff in there always helpful, took in item details said sorry still in transit. Ok what next I want my item or my money back or hello trading standards.

Bought an air fryer, it was faulty and overheated,contacted manufacturer no problem as only three months old. They said contact ASDA and return it. Eventually after many calls it was collected by courier as I'm disabled and live in a remote area. Again have had to make many calls where I am assured it's been received back and a refund has been processed. I'm still waiting weeks later to see that money. George clothing had no issues at all, but larger electrical items would advise buy somewhere else. The experience has been EXHAUSTING :(

Absolutely awful experience. Do not order from here. Wrong parcel delivered on wrong pre arranged date. When tried to rectify phone service was totally inadequate, not helpful at all and resulted in my stress levels through the roof. Never again, and dread to think how the refund process will go, reading these reviews and the story so far I won’t hold my breath

I have rated this company 1 star it would of been -10 but we didn't have the option. I have never known such a rude, lying, customer service team in my life . I barely understood any of the staff and when I did they was plain rude .I will never order from this shambolic company again.

I ordered a zip up hoody for collection at a local collection point, tried to collect it the next day and was told it wasn’t there. Returned a day later to be told it still wasn’t there and that they’d experienced a few issues with George.

When I reported it, I was told it had been collected. That they’d have to raise an incident with the collection store. Two weeks later I still haven’t heard from George.

Daylight robbery! Was supposed to collect my order on 19 of June, but apprantly was lost in transit …been chasing it every two days and still haven’t received the item or a refund! Messed about, lied to and I would have took the loss however I cannot afford it, was advised it may take another 14 days on top of the time I’ve waited, I’ve complained at the start of the week and there’s nothing more I could do, I’m absolutely sick of it and will boycott Asda completely in future!

Absolutely shocking service service from Asda George and I will never use again!
Was sent a notification to say my item was at the agreed pick up
Point only to be told it wasn’t there after driving over 5 miles to get there.
2 phone calls later various mixed evri messages saying it’s delivered/delayed/sent back etc etc
No answer from the Asda shop
Wished I had ready the shocking reviews before buying as I won’t be buying again from

Not able even to leave an order online on their website at a checkout: “There’s a problem with the payment details you have submitted”. No workarounds from Customer Support helped, neither any other payment methods/browsers/devices/app. This issue exists at least a year, based on some Facebook posts where users described same problem. Customer Support confirms that there’s no help and no ETA to fix this problem from their IT department. How on earth it takes them so long to fix a problem on their website?? Will avoid
