Absolute scammers.. got a quote, answered all questions and the less than 2 weeks later cancelled my policy taking 1 months payment and said i still owed them £50..

Honestly, the worst company I have ever dealt with. An absolute nightmare.

If i could give no stars i would, despite telling them i was suffering financial hardship and them saying not to worry we will help you they canceled my insurance

I've tried down loading the go skippy app connect , but wont allow me too, saying not compatible with android. They sale me a policy then I cant download the app they state must be done, otherwise they will cancel my policy. I see this as the company ripping people off to make money. If they cant supply me with a connecting app there at fault not me. As how are we to know beforehand that some phones are not compatible. If anything they should be apologising to me. And rectify the situation as good customer service instead off saying they will cancel my policy if not done within 7 days. There liable to prosecution. I see as a act off fraud obtaining money by desent. Like I said to them, do they expect someone to go out and buy a phone to satisfy their demands. When they should make it very clear before the policy is taken out. Totally disgusting. Dont reccomend them in the slightest way. In fact I shall be asking to speak to their top management tomorrow

My son's first car, this firm was recommended via one of the comparison sites, shocking.

Due to the simple fact the policy is in my son's name but my email was associated with the policy (additional driver) we cannot set up the wedge app (black box device). Two telephone calls one week apart (90 mins in total waiting or speaking to people that offer false advice or simply guess what to say), a chat on line and promises to get back to us (always within 48 hours but they have yet to) re a simple request (switch the emails) and they are now about to cancel the insurance. Go elsewhere, don't compare.

They cancelled my insurance a few days after taking money from my account and still ask me to pay a fee of £90.68
AVOID FOR THESE GUYS AND THEY ARE ASSOCIATED WITH Somerset Bridge Insurance Limited. They working together to make sure they take money from you and threaten you with debt collectors.

This is one of the worst insurance companies I’ve dealt with. I strongly advise against using them because their customer service is terrible. They cancelled my insurance without a valid reason, then demanded payment. If you dispute the charges or refuse to pay, they may damage your credit history in a word: a scam.

Think 1,000 times before buying insurance from GoSkippy / Somerset Bridge Insurance.

I had an accident on 14 September and reported it to my insurance company. I was told that Copart would be handling my claim, and Copart initially contacted me and advised that the process would take around 2–3 days.

However, nothing progressed. After waiting and chasing for an update, I contacted Copart and was told that my insurance company had placed the claim on hold.

I then discovered that the insurance company had referred my case to ExamWorks to take a statement from me. I was told that the earliest appointment available was 13 October. This means I am having to wait almost four weeks after my accident just to provide a statement, and I have then been told that the insurance company will review the claim after that.

The situation has been extremely frustrating because I have been left without my vehicle throughout this process.

What makes this even more disappointing is that my insurance policy documentation specifically lists “Courtesy Car while your car is being repaired” as part of the cover. When I asked about a courtesy car following my accident, I was told that it would only be available if my car was in a garage. Because the claim has been put on hold, my vehicle has not progressed to the repair stage, leaving me without a car.

As a result, I have had to rely on Uber for my daily travel and pay the costs myself, while waiting for my insurance claim to move forward.

I completely understand that some claims may need investigation and that an insurer may need to take a statement. However, what I find unacceptable is the lack of progress and communication. I was initially told that the claim process would take only a few days, yet weeks later I am still waiting just to provide a statement, with further review required afterwards.

I have been paying for insurance so that I would have support when I actually needed it. Instead, I have spent my time chasing Copart, chasing the insurance company and now waiting for ExamWorks, while being left without a vehicle.

I would strongly recommend that anyone considering GoSkippy or Somerset Bridge Insurance reads the policy wording very carefully and considers the claims experience before purchasing a policy. My experience so far has been extremely disappointing, and I hope they can now take responsibility for progressing my claim and providing a clear resolution.

Tried to make payment today after my direct debit missed twice the other day. They dont make it easy, there's no way to make a direct payment over the phone straight away to them, they'd rather earn a £25 admin fee on top by making you pay through Premium Credit. They're just money grabbers who won't give you a chance to make your account right on the spot.

Tried to cancel car insurance mid term as I sold the car. Cannot do it online, cannot do it on the phone - you have to email them. Then I get an email back saying it’s been cancelled and it will take up to 28 days to get the refund. 28 days?!! I email them back and said I’ve never heard of any company taking more than a week to process a refund, and their reply was “that’s our T&Cs”. Absolutely disgusting, there’s no reason for a company to take so long to refund money other than maximising their own cash flow at customers’ expense.

Ive only been driving for 4 months, saved up to get myself a new car but the insurance quotes where insane. Goskippy provided a reasonable quote and it was really easy to set up. Seem a really reliable company and have a great communtcation team

When you have a policy with Go Skippy any claims will be handled by a company called Somerset Bridge.
They are utterly useless.
Your quote might be cheaper in the event of a claim you'll pay in time, stress and an incompetently handled claim process.
