Greenguard Insulation Reviews 

I had my loft insulated on the 17th of February 2025 and the men were very prompt, were tidy and respectful.
However, I has asked before to have photos of the repair work before the foil insulator went up ( I will add for context I was thinking I would need new membrane on the roof ) which was told on inspection it was good and only needed repairs, so would have liked proof of this.
When they called for feed back they were very sorry and were apologetic and refunded part of the cost.
So they dealt with it the best way they could so I did suggest maybe photos along with the end product would be a good thing going forwards.
I would still recommend them this was just a misunderstanding.

People turned up on time and respected my property.
Everything was explained...using photographs of my roof interior.

The initial contact was from a “cold call” briefly describing the product and service offered. I had realised myself that there was a damp issue in the loft so agreed to a free of charge survey. The salesman arrived on time, explained the product in simple terms and gave an indication of potential savings. He then surveyed the loft, which he videoed and played back to me. What he showed me was as he expected to find and made complete sense. We agreed to go ahead and arranged the installation for a few days later.
The installers arrived when anticipated, getting to work straight away, laying carpet covers before entering the loft. Once started they didn’t stop, working for about 4 to 5 hours. All the work was clean and tidy and they showed me the work once complete.
The installation was completed 10 days ago and the loft is definitely warmer and it does seem warmer in the bedrooms.
All in all I am very pleased with the installation and product. I would recommend this company to others.

The 2 guys arrived at 8am as promised, they covered the carpet and set to work straight away.
I thought they would empty the loft first, which has a lot of stuff in it but they just moved things around as they worked. They were very quiet as they installed the Supafoil and only stopped for a short time to have their lunch. The job was completed by 4pm and they cleaned the carpet before leaving.
As the front door was open most of the day as they cut the foil on the driveway, the house was very cold but in less that an hour and a half it was lovely and warm and I had to turn the radiators down. The house retains the heat for a long time before the thermostat comes on again. So I am looking forward to cheaper bills, cosy home, and no worries about the house loosing heat through the roof. I noticed that snow was melting on the roof so the one layer of insulation that my husband had put under the floor several years ago wasn't enough. He developed Alzheimers and vascular dementia so I didn't think he could cope with the disruption. I'm sure to recoup the cost over the next few years. Excellent job, I am very pleased with Greenguard and highly recommend them.

We received a phone call out of the blue regarding loft insulation and offering a free survey. Although we felt our loft insulation was sufficient, we decided it was worth having it checked anyway, so agreed to go ahead, and Ghaffar appeared by appointment to perform the survey and, unsurprisingly, suggest an improvement. We were initially skeptical about some of the claims made for the product, but impressed overall with it, sufficient to place an order. Installation took place the following week and did not start very well as the installer did not call us beforehand, nor arrive in the appointed time frame. However, we did receive a call from his supervisor a bit later advising that his previous day's job had overrun, but that he would be with us within a couple of hours. Having thought about this a bit we decided that it would be unwise to start the work when the installer had already worked half a day, and then travelled 50 miles to our house. So when he arrived, and on his own, we advised that the installation was postponed. He advised that he could return the following day, so unloaded the materials and departed. He arrived the following day, and with an assistant, and started the installation, which took quite a lot longer than we were expecting, but was done very carefully and neatly, and looks really impressive. Finally, we have been amazed at how warm the bedrooms are now, as previously they were getting cold after the central heating turned off, around 30 minutes beforehand, and the rooms cooled down very quickly. This was something that Ghaffar had mentioned during his presentation, and we thought was possibly a minor benefit, but have been impressed already with the difference this insulation has made. So, along with all the more obvious benefits that this insulation should provide, primarily the elimination of the damp problem which had really shocked us during the survey, we have been very pleased with what we have experienced so far, and thank you for a great product

The actual installation was very professional, the only thing to spoil the experience was the cold call which started the whole process.

Mr Hutchinson. Pudsey. I would recommend Greenguard. The guys arrived on time and cracked on with the job. No mess was left and they showed me the work they had done. Of which I was very pleased with. I have had bad experiences with tradesmen recently but not these guys. They were excellent.

ACCEPTED quotation, the installers arrived at the time booked. prepared carpet covers for the entrance to roof space plus all materials and tools placed in loft area.
the two men worked solidly through the day only stopping for a cold drink. Greenguard are very lucky to have two young men with the correct skilled work ethics. No mess left at all no inconvenience to us, just a great job of workmanship

Had a roof survey for solar panels and coincidental finding was damp insulation and timbers. Further survey of roof and Green guard contacted. They came next day, arrived exactly when they said, were fabulous, and finished by lunchtime and helped me put the few really heavy items back in the roof. The upstairs is warmer and waiting for the impact on my bills

I'm always dubious when I get cold calls. But I knew my loft needed something doing about it, as my house is always cold. So I agreed to make an appointment.

Mark Hall explained why my loft was so cold and what could be done about it in a non patronising way. Mark didn't push for a hard sell. Which i really appreciated.

The two lads that came to do the work (Max and Taylor) where very professional, polite and tidy.

I only had the work done a few days ago, so can't feel the difference yet.

My installation started with a cold call, it was very polite so I accepted the invitation to have a survey. Gary arrived early and was very pleasant explaining all about the product, the installation and reasons to go ahead, without any pressure to buy. Morgan our installer worked so very hard, there was a lot of junk that I didn’t have time to remove as the installation date was set just over a week from the first contact. He moved everything around so he could work and left the space so much tidier than it was. Not sure how he managed it alone, always with a smile and always calm and efficient. I have only had it a few days so still looking forward to the benefits however the bathroom ceiling already seems better.

Greenguard is a good company and has been trading since 2020, so there knowledge & experience has been established. The surveyor (Lawrence) was well informed about its company products & the benefits of superfoil 19+. As his selling pitch was NON aggressive & the facts of the material were true I agreed with an installation. The fitters (Max & Josh) turned up bright & early on the agreed installation day. They both performed brilliantly well, being respectful & courteous of my property. After they had completed the works they asked me to inspect the installation to make sure I was happy with the completed works. They cleaned up any mess accumulated during the process. In conclusion I believe the product used & the workforce implemented is of credit to Greenguard.

After having why I should have Greenguard insulation fitted in my loft, I agreed to it. The two young fitters arrived bang on 8am. Started work straight away having laid down floor covering. they worked in a professional manner and did not stop till they finished at 5.10. Have only had the insulation fitted in early November 2024 so this Winter will be interesting to see if the insulation has worked. So far, I would highly recommend this company.

Taylor and crew, work was extremely well performed both in time and appearance, We would not hesitate to recommend them or the product which they installed, as it appears to be excellent fitted in our loft.

The two brothers Mike and Kieran arrived from Northampton at eight o clock after a two hour drive worked all day putting up the insulation were polite and hard working manage to finish after six o clock and drove back home arriving after eight o clock. They worked very hard and did an excellent job and would recommend the company. Mark who came to do the assessment was polite and knowledgeable and provided detailed information.
