Misleading adverts. Received an email saying several hotels including a new beachfront hotel in Brighton was available with dinner and breakfast from £79. It isn’t and the same goes for the others. What they really mean is they are available WITHOUT DINNER fir this price but the fact it states ‘with dinner and breakfast’ implies that the from price DOES include dinner. Will report to Advertising Standards as this is clearly and deliberately misleading headline pricing.

I don't usually leave reviews but this site is enabling scammers.
Have used this site for a good while but recently they seemed to have moved to advertising restaurants whom don't or won't answer the number you are given to book, this has happened twice in the last couple of months .
However they won't refund the cost of the purchase as it has a cut off for refunds .
Be aware you can end up seriously out of pocket

Great deals when it works but when you get a bad one it’s impossible to get your money back. You seem to not get any further than a repetitive AI generated message. I’d only recommend it for money you can lose

If anyone experiencing an issue with their purchase - Groupon will simply say we checked with the merchant and they're the direct authorisers of the transaction and tell you to bugger off... so essentially washing their hands off everything if something goes wrong... lovely

IMHO, Groupon UK is systematically deploying automated AI and trained customer support designed to unlawfully deny statutory cash refunds to consumers. In my case, a merchant withdrew a service and refused to honour my active voucher. This constitutes a fundamental breach of contract and total failure of consideration under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Despite this, Groupon's AI and front-line agents repeatedly rejected my refund request, claiming the "refund period had expired" and trying to enforce standard 14-day change-of-mind cooling-off policies to escape liability. Groupon only relented and agreed to a refund after a substantial, exhausting dispute. This indicates a deliberate corporate strategy designed to wear down consumers until they abandon their statutory rights. By programming AI systems to mislead consumers about their statutory entitlements, Groupon UK is in breach of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 regarding misleading practices and unfair contract terms. This systemic obstruction also directly circumvents the spirit of the previous binding undertakings Groupon signed with the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) regarding transparent refund practices. I am reporting this to request an enforcement review of Groupon.

Absolutely disgraceful customer service...3 weeks ago I purchased a Groupon for a hotel stay with a 3 course meal included. I wasn't sure whether or not this meant for the 3 nights I booked, or whether it just meant for the first night as there was conflicting information online. I reached out to Groupon to clarify, but they weren't sure and recommended I contact the hotel directly, which I did. During the call, they confirmed it was per night, but that there was a specific allowance which did not equate to a 3 course meal. I contacted customer service to discuss it, and was told it will be escalated to the specialist team, and confirmed that these details had not been included in the deal. This was 3 weeks ago, and after contacting Groupon 6 times over this period (being told I'd hear back within 48 hours each time), I am still to get a resolution.

I brought a voucher from Groupon in August 2026 for a hot oil back massage at Pai Thai Christchurch Dorset but today September, I tried to book to actually have the 30 min massage but was told no appointments till January 2027 my voucher expires Dec 2026 and to get my money refunded by Groupon, who said i had missed refund dates. Please be very careful if you ever part with money to Groupon, I certainly don't recommend you do.

Their merchant sold me fauty goods. They were no help at all in trying to resolve the issue, simply referred me to the merchant, who denied any fault even when confirmed by the manufacturer. Will not buy from Groupon again and have closed my account.

Quick, Trusted and Reliable...Bought Microsoft Ofice 2024.

I could not download the Microsoft Licence I bought. Despite several emails to customer support I have had no resolution or refund. I checked the account today and there is an additional order against me name. Both say « redeemed «  Seems to be one big scam

Many times they scam you. They advertises like good product such as HOMCOM toys and other brand but once delivered it is bad game from China. They customer service are a real scammers on top of that. No call or contact can be made apart from the chat service that is AI and the human reproduce the copy if the AI chat. Not helpful at all and scammers. Do not use but rather we need to complain appropriately.

Will never use again.
Purchased a voucher, came to use said voucher and it would not load.
Advised I should have contacted a Groupon customer while I was at the event….however I couldn’t access the app at all.
Had to pay again for the ticket to get in and all I get from group on is its non refundable.
Would not recommend them and wouldn’t bother with the deal again

Zilch voucher. But they earning a lot of interest on the scam.

We spent around 4 hrs trying to book an afternoon tea at Studley Castle using a voucher we foolishly purchased. Simply not worth the frustration and time spent. Groupon automated Support loops round until you want to give your computer flying lessons.
Will never purchase a Groupon Voucher again.
However, after 4 hrs we managed to change from automated help line to a human help line and booking was made. Not sure it was worth the tears of frustration.

Booked and paid. Didn't receive voucher code. Can't get in touch with anyone to resolve this problem.

Firstly, the item wasn't delivered, even thought Evri said it was. Another fan was subsequently sent. This worked for about a week then completely stopped. I contacted Groupon and they answered me with "No Reply" emails. What is the point of that? I have had numerous "Chats" and have been promised a refund. I still have not received anything. I have just finished "chatting" to them again, and yet again, I have been promised a refund. I will not use this service/company again.

It’s a scam app ! They charge me 2 for the same experience and they refused to give me the money back ! One hour on chat and they are so incompetent people ! Never again I will us the app ! They own me 36.49£ and they just cut the conversation like that they don’t have to pay me back

I used groupon 10 years ago. I had a refund and was only given the option of credit. I used some credit and had some left over. A year later it was erased out of my account like it meant nothing to them. I’m sorry but a couple of hundred pounds isn’t nothing. It’s been 10 years I have purposefully avoided using them. Had they not stolen my money i’m sure they would have made more from me but hey, you had to be greedy thieves.
