Hair Stop and Shop Reviews 

I ordered some hair on June 1st 2020. Today is the 13th and I still have not gotten my items. I am really upset because they had items on their website listed like they had it. When I checkout only 5 days later told that the item was sold out! Why have hair on your website and you are sold out? So After being contacted and told to change color I did immediately. I was told the order would be shipped out the next day. I had to wait more like a week and a half to get the hair. They are terrible.

I am happy with this service. very good.

The hair and products are great however my cc was compromised shortly after ordering from HSS. It has made me hesitant to order again from them which is disappointing since they carry many hard to find styles of crochet hair.

I’m hooked on the green juice! I drink it every morning now.

I placed an order for a wig on Monday May 04 and have not received an order number nor confirmation email yet the money was taken out of my account. I have emailed and only received an auto-reply message stating that I would receive a response in 24 hours. It had been 4 days and I have not had any communication with anyone.

I purchase a wig April 12, 2020, still have not receive it. I have been emailing this company numerous of times about a refund. They stated my order would go out last Thursday or Friday. This business is a scam no one has been answering my emails today. You can't anyone on the phone. They are quick to take your money and not send the product. I've requested for a supervisor please contact me again no response. This business is misleading and taking advantage of people during these times. Very horrible dishonest people. All I want is my refund. Do not deal with these people.

I am pleased to say that the company has contacted me and was able to move this issue forward toward a positive resolution. I look forward to completing the order and will update.
*******************************************I ordered two wigs. One had to go back do to manufacturing defect. I ordered the amount necessary to get free shipping. It was not an easy process from beginning to end. They are slow on responding and updating from once your paid order has been processed and as to when it will ship. Because it had been a week since I ordered and I had not heard anything or received an email; I inquired. I only got a response by email after I received shipping information. I received the wigs. The only one that I cut the lace on ripped down the part when putting on my head. I do not have a large head, but even if I did it should have been sturdy to take putting on. I contacted the company and received an email that I would need to contact the manufacturer to which I did. I was informed that I would need to work with the reseller. HSAS sent me an email that they were told that according to their contract with the manufacturer they needed me to return it for an exchange. I did. However, instead of sending me the wig exchange they refunded my money. I have contacted them today and left a message as well. I told them I understand that we are living in different times with coronavirus restrictions and such. That I would gladly reorder but do not think I should be responsible for the shipping and I purchased per their free shipping guidelines. I am hoping for a positive outcome to this as I am not pleased with my experience and feel I have been put upon as a customer instead of having a simple ordering, paying, receiving goods, and proper follow up to a problem. I simply want them to honor what they said they would in their email and send the replacement or contact me to see if I wanted another one sent.

I ordered two wigs from Hairstopandshop and I have not heard from this company about where my product is and it’s been two days.They took my money and is not following up with me about anything. This shop seems to be a scam now I have to get my money back!!

I have ordered several times from this website and the products are as described. I love the prices and the frequent sales.

I am not accusing Hair Stop and Shop of anything but seriously wondering about the coincidence explained below:

I live in Finland. On 7th February I tried to purchase some items from Hair Stop and Shop totaling $184,40 including shipping. I tried twice with my debit card AND twice with my credit card and failed each time. While struggling, I sent Hair Stop and Shop an email about this because when I quickly checked online, my bank showed there was no issue on my end with any of my cards. However, I did not give up and tried to make the purchase one more time via Paypal. I immediately succeeded! All this happened in maybe 20 minutes and I sent a second email to Hair Stop and Shop to tell them the payment went through. They much later responded that international customers can only use Paypal. NOTE: I have not used my debit or credit cards anywhere else online after that. I also have not used them anywhere else online this entire year.

A few days later on 10th February 2020, my bank contacted me to confirm if I had made two transactions on my credit card totaling 413€. They suspected fraud. I immediately checked all my bank and credit card transactions. My €175,20 ($184,40) Paypal transaction for the Hair Stop and Shop purchase was showing plus TWO FRAUDULENT transactions in my credit card transactions: one for €406,89 and the other for €6,20 through Italian and Latvian online stores I have NEVER heard of or even visited. ALL three transactions were dated 10th February. Is this a coincidence? The only day this year that I used my credit card online at Hair Stop and Shop, I also lost €413 to various other stores in different countries. How? This matter is currently under investigation.

When i read the reviews here, i got worried after purchasing, not gonna lie. But i am PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! Beyond that, i am ecstatic! This wig was better than i could have even imagined! It was wearable straight out of the box with not much styling needed at all. It is EXACTLY as described and arrived much faster than anticipated! I will definitely be buying many more wigs from this store, it is my new go-to. I recommended to my friends who have made purchases already. LOVE LOVE LOVE this site. There is so much that they have to offer.

I bought a wig with $. HS&S has my $. Porch thief has my wig. HS&S doesn't care & has zero customer service skills, good will, or the prescience to realize that a happy customer will always return and give you more of their money. Nope. They literally run on taking one sucker at a time, and don't care if you never return. If that's the kind of company you want to deal with and give your hard earned money to, then have at it. But if you are reading this review, I'm telling you that they won't even offer you a sympathetic word or discount on your next order with them in order to keep you as a customer. Of course it's not their fault some porch thief took the wig - and it's not USPS's fault either. But the whole point is, I have no wig, and they have my money. Do they want me to buy from them again? Did they offer to replace the wig at a discounted price and specify shipping/delivery options so this never happens again in order for me to remain a customer? The answer to both of those questions apparently is NO. So, I can't speak to the quality of the wig - I can only speak to their dismissive attitude and choice to lose a potential repeat customer in order to keep that now one time customer's money. Even if this particular situation doesn't happen to you, now you know the character of the company you are dealing with, and you can make an informed decision about supporting them or not. AND GOT THIS FRAUD FAKE WIG!!!!! THESE PEOPLE ARE FRAUDS

I paid almost the same price for shipping as for the wig itself. It didn’t come with all the pieces as described on the website. The back of the wig is completely damaged and it looks like hair is ripped out.
Now I can pay £16 for sending it back so I spent over £30 of shopping for nothing.
I would never buy there again.

I have ordered from HSS on many occasions from the UK and have found their service to be reliable and trustworthy, what you see is what you get always receiving my items within 2 to 3 weeks, I have ordered wigs from others sites and they were so badly made, you wouldn't use them to mop the floorI've tried HSS and can definitely recommend their excellent service .

This website is super shady. Used a brand new credit card to purchase some hair and the card was magically compromised. They don't offer ”phone support” and claim they have no idea how it happened even though the card was never used elsewhere. Also happened with a debit card in July but didn't know it was them until now.

I placed an online order with hair stop and shop after coming across their website while browsing the net for affordable hair.
I live in New Zealand and the hair selection here /hair shops / beauty supply stores here are almost NON EXISTENT unfortunately.This means that my only options are to buy Internationally (USA mostly) occasionally ASIA .
I did not to much research on Hair Stop and Shop (as I normally would when shopping online) I did view a YouTube Videos with reviews from the Shop But most of them seemed old .
However i urgently needed the hair and just took a risk and order .
I got a confirmation email immediately after placing my order which was the first good sign .
It says I will get shipping details within 24 -48 hours

I waited for 48 hours and did not receive and contact .(Bare in Mind I ordered on a Friday so the 48 hours fell over the weekend so I thought this may be the reason for the delay.
I emailed them on Monday regarding not getting my shipping info/tracking number

They responded by Wednesday and said I should have it in within another 24/48 hours
During this time I started doing research on the Hair Stop and shop and came across a lot of reviews saying they are a SCAM and people’s money was taken and the never received their order or a refund.
My heart Sank ! I was now so worried that I had fallen for a scam!!

Then too my surprise ....
On Friday Morning I received a UPS tracking number .
It took about 72hours from then to get a notification that my order was on the move and at a Airport in New York.
By Tuesday my order was somewhere in the air and on its way to me .it Arrived in New Zealand on Thursday.
The weekend passed and By Tuesday to my pleasant surprise I had a nice big box waiting by my front door.

So to summarise
THEY ARE NOT A SCAM!
I received my well packaged order !
All the hair I order was of excellent quality as advertised!!
THANK YOU ,THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

I will shop with them again !!
