**HBS Medical partnered with AXA — avoid if you actually need medical care.**

This platform feels almost deliberately designed to be unusable. The biggest problem is simply trying to access anything or book an appointment. If customers can’t navigate the system or reach a doctor, there’s not much point in having the service in the first place.

It feels like the perfect business model: collect insurance premiums, then build a website and app experience so frustrating that customers can never actually reach a real doctor. And apparently, if one app isn’t confusing enough, you can always add a few more.

For a healthcare service, accessibility should be the bare minimum. Unfortunately, my experience with HBS Medical has been the complete opposite.

I had a great experience using HBSUK with my physio Stephen O'Mahoney. He was very professional and great at his job. He took the time to fully explain everything, created a programme to help strengthen my weak ankle & work with me to reach my goal of strengthening it to get me back into running. I'm now running comfortably and pain free - I can't thank you enough Stephen! Thanks for everything, Kirsty.

Great staff and very friendly. Have had a bad experience with one of their consultants but everyone else was very nice, friendly, helpful, good listeners and always there to give best advice. The advisors are also very friendly, professional and fast to help with any issues. I have been contacting them a lot this year. Totally recommend.

Amazing professional and easy

The on-line interview and recommendations were good. The"Lucy" bit was duplicated. the schedule was very prompt.

It was easy to make the appointment.
The therapist I saw was friendly and very professional.

Lauren was thorough, unrushed and clearly explored the issue, before offering a diagnosis and treatment recommendation.

My appointment connected on time and the specialist was fantastic. Took time to understand the origin of the condition, how it was affecting me and then walked through some tests before making some clear recommendations.

Very quick, excellent review of my information with a formal letter sent to me within 24hrs by the neurology consultant. Tests needed and organised. I have spoken to local private hospital and they have the request and are ready to organise it soon.
Only issue is the consultant ticked the routine box for the test. It doesnt make a big difference though as the private hospital treats them all with urgency.

Physio was great and now I have the appointment with the orthopedic consultant - but the AXA/HBSUK system doesn't really have that in the diary as an appointment for me - I have to contact the consultant directly

Could not access your portal. Tried several times using passwords provided to me by yourselves but no access!
Spoke to two people on your helpline who gave me contradictory advice.
A complete waste of time.

Prompt, professional and quality diagnosis and service

Easy to schedule online assessment. Assessment occurred as scheduled and system easy to use. Further actions, set up during consultation, occurred as expected and without drama or delay. Very happy with service!
