TRANSFER My return journey was stressful as I…

My return journey was stressful as I was not given correct information and waited One hour on my first pick up in the snow with no one to contact.
(I would say however that the girl sat Alpine Fleet was excellent at calling me and explaining the taxi was coming and apologized for the long wait)

We’re sorry to hear that your inbound journey was stressful. We completely understand that waiting an hour for your pick-up without any contact would have been an unsettling experience.

In situations like this, we always recommend contacting our 24-hour Out of Hours line, which is available at all times. This number can be found on the MyBooking portal. Unfortunately, I cannot see any correspondence from the phone number we have on file for you. You would also have been able to contact Alpine Fleet directly using the number provided should you have wished to do so.

We are, however, pleased to hear that the Alpine Fleet agent was helpful and contacted you directly to confirm your pick-up time and apologise for the delay.

We hope to have the opportunity to get you back out to the mountains in the future, and thank you again for your review.

Booking was easy and very friendly

Booking was easy and very friendly. However, we were not warned that the so called four star accomadation was in fact very basic and that when we arrived at 2115 there was no soap or body wash for 3 people, on roll of toilet paper, no kitchen basics for washing dishes and pans and that everything had shut at 1900 and indeed shuts 1200-1500.
More to the point we had booked at added expense a late flight home leaving at 2115. Lyon airport was just over 2 hours away so we anticipated a pickup not earlier than 1800. We were told the pickup would be at 1500, the time suitable for the 1830 flight thus cutting severely into our last day of skiing. When I protested we were given a lot of BS about road traffic and having to pick up other customers at different locations. In fact the driver changed the collection time three times, said it was nonsense there were other parties to pick up, and also that the road, a motorway all the way, was never congested. So Heidi expected us to wait five hours at the airport!
As it happened the flight was delayed........

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We’re very sorry to hear that there were aspects of your holiday that did not meet your expectations.

We apologise that your accommodation was disappointing on arrival, particularly the absence of a welcome pack with basic essentials. We completely understand how frustrating this can be, especially when arriving late in the evening when shops may be closed, and after a long day of travel.

In terms of the room standard in situations like this, we always recommend getting in touch with our 24-hour out-of-hours support line, as this allows us to investigate and address any concerns while you are still on holiday. I can see that you got in touch with us via Live Chat out of our opening hours, for which our AI bot sent an automatic message stating to call if you required any assistance.

Regarding your transfer, I can see that a shuttle service was selected. As these are shared transfers, they do involve collecting other passengers travelling in the same direction, and pick-up times can sometimes be adjusted to account for this, as well as traffic and road conditions. For future bookings, a private transfer may offer more flexibility with timings. That said, we do appreciate that a five-hour wait at the airport is far from ideal. In these circumstances, we would again encourage customers to contact our out-of-hours team, who will always do their best to assist.

We do hope that, despite these issues, you were still able to enjoy your holiday. We truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us to improve our service.

A stress free trip for Spring Skiing in the northern French Alps

We booked our ski trip 6 days before our departure.
Heidi provided us with all the information we required to have a smooth journey to France and onward transfer to our resort. They also took care of our return transfer. The accommodation booked lived up to our expectations.

Short break specialists

One of the easiest travel companies to deal with. Great recommendations and a super easy booking tool. There aren’t many companies putting together short ski breaks but this is our second booking in 2 years and it’s worked out so well.

Zell am See was a good location for both skiers and non-skiers. The staff at Hotel Latini were friendly and helpful and the food was good.

Very good communication when we emailed…

Very good communication when we emailed but would have liked more help and advice for ski passes and ski lessons. We were given links but weren't very confident about what to choose as it was first time for family.

Very understanding and accommodating

We made a pretty major mistake with our initial booking and the team at Heidi were exceptionally understanding and accommodating allowing us to book the holiday that we had intended to.

Firstly, we would like to sincerely apologise that this happened, and that you had to wait while this was resolved. We completely understand how frustrating and disappointing this must have been, especially at the start of your holiday, and this is certainly not the experience we aim to provide.

As soon as you contacted us, we investigated the issue urgently with our supplier, as everything had been confirmed correctly on our system prior to your arrival. While this did take some time to resolve, we did our best to support you in the moment and offered to cover refreshments while we worked on a solution. Once we were able to reach our supplier and identify the error, we acted immediately to secure your accommodation directly with the hotel.

We’re also sorry to hear that the accommodation did not meet the expected standard, and we take this feedback seriously. If you have any photos you’re able to share, please feel free to send them to customers@heidi.com. We can then investigate this with your accommodation directly.  

We sincerely apologise again for the inconvenience caused and truly appreciate you taking the time to write this feedback to us. We do hope that, despite this you were still able to enjoy your holiday in the mountains.

Did not deliver on flight bookings

The inbound flight time that was published for the booking was not secured and the 2 alternatives offered - one at 7am requiring a transfer at 2am or the latest flight at 9pm. There was an earlier flight at 5pm but was informed it was “too expensive” so was not offered.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re really sorry we weren’t able to confirm your booking with the flights you originally selected.

We do work with live pricing and availability, and your booking request was actioned immediately after it was placed. There is, unfortunately, the rare occasion, particularly when bookings are placed close to departure, where the flights you selected sell out before we're able to confirm them.

For your booking, I can see that our team reached out within two hours of your booking request being placed, before any confirmation had been issued. We informed you that we weren't able to secure those specific flights and worked with you to find the best alternatives. The 17:00 PM flights were considerably more expensive than those that you had originally selected, and we were unable to cover the full cost. We therefore asked that you pay a little bit more should you want to go ahead with this option. You instead chose to go with the 21:00 PM flight, and we were happy to cover the fare difference here.

Thank you again for sharing your experience. We are always looking to improve the experience of our customers, and we truly hope that you were able to enjoy your time in the mountains.
