Experience was super

Not a proper four star hotel

The Aer Lingus flight was good from Dublin.
The pickup service from the airport to the resort was good.
Soon as we landed at the hotel it was a disappointment the size of the room from the images on the advertising is quite misleading. Room is very small narrow hallway. big bed too big and leaves you with no room to put suitcases or to move around the room.
Coffee machine did not work
No small fridge in the room not that I would want a mini bar but just to put some basic drinks would be nice had to put them out on the windowsill and many other guests were doing the same.

Cleanliness
blood stains on my towel and bed sheets.
Green stains on bath robe.
Stains on the bed sheet.

I made it very clear to Lewis from Heidi when booking the holiday I was looking for a hotel that cater for vegan options.
When booking it I opted for half board and lucky enough I changed my mind and with over and back with emails eventually got the half board refunded just down to B & B.
And I was so glad I went to the trouble of doing that as the morning we went for breakfast there was no vegan options no allergies on any of the food the only thing we could take that was hot was beans.
I said this to the manager of the breakfast area and explain to her that I had already put in the email when booking the holiday that we were looking for vegan options and she said did they get back to you as you can see we don't have any vegan options.
I said yes we were insured that there would be no issue.
She then said it would take two full days to order in vegan options
On the Sunday morning we had no options on the Monday morning we had no options on the Tuesday morning she had warmed up vegetables and yogurts
No pastries.
So everyday we have to have the warmed up microwaved vegetables.
While everyone else could take as much as they wanted from the layout.
When giving us the yogurt they would only give us one yogurt each.

While all the other guests could come and go from the buffet and take as many items as they wished.
We were extremely disappointed in the hotel and management especially in the breakfast area.

I clearly said to her on the first day could we get vegan sausages after two days she said no they're not available.
But yet literally a 10 minute walk from the hotel there was a shop where we were able to buy vegan sausages no problem and we had to bring them to breakfast every morning to have them with the bread.
definitely I would definitely not rate this hotel a four-star very disappointed.

And the time you have in the Spar is very limited you have to book your spot and the spare closes at seven o'clock in the evening.

Based on my experience in the hotel I would probably not book with Heidi again.

I’m really sorry to read about your experience at the hotel, particularly in relation to the room, cleanliness, and spa access. This isn’t the standard we expect from our accommodation partners, and we’ll be passing your comments directly to the hotel so they can review and address these points.

In terms of your vegan requirements, I can see that our team did contact the hotel in advance with your “hot plant-based vegan request.” We weren’t made aware of any issues during your stay, and it’s helpful to understand from your feedback how this was handled on arrival. We’ll be raising this specifically with the hotel to ensure that dietary requirements are better understood and catered for going forward.

Regarding the hotel’s four-star rating, it’s worth noting that star classifications can vary between countries, and standards in France may differ slightly from those in the UK. That said, your experience should still feel in line with expectations, and we appreciate you highlighting where this fell short.

We do hope that, despite the issues with the hotel and food options, you were still able to enjoy a wonderful time in the mountains.

First time using Heidi to book a ski…

First time using Heidi to book a ski holiday and very impressed with them and their support - booked and paid for the trip only to realise that we wanted an earlier flight than the one booked, got in touch and flight changed with no problems.

Never again would I use Heidi and I…

Never again will I use Heidi and I haven’t even been on the holiday yet!

They advertise : Freedom to relax
Peace of mind at every step, from help finding a holiday to 24/7 support while you're away.

Well in my case, I booked a package holiday with Heidi. We are doing a 4am wake up to make sure we can ski on day one. We have also purchased ski passes from Heidi for day 1 (as they know).

Less that 24 hours before the trip, I get a WhatsApp informing me that the transfer time has been pushed back, meaning we now have a 2 hour wait at Geneva airport + lose most of the remaining day we had skiing and had paid for.

I called up and asked for a better solution and explained why the new plans don’t work for me. And I quote, ‘ there is no alternative solution, the only solution is you deal with the delay’.

As someone who owns and runs a very similar organisation, I know first hand, that you are judged on what you do when things go wrong.

Heidi, I go skiing every year- never again with you. It was a simple problem that could have been solved. I’ve now paid for a private transfer, and you’ve lost a customer for life.

We appreciate that it can be frustrating when changes are made to your travel plan at the last minute, and we apologise that this change had such an impact on your holiday.

Apart from freedom to relax, we also aim to provide customers with the freedom to choose. This means that customers can find the exact right holiday for them, and then customise it until it's perfect! In your case, I can see that you chose to purchase ski passes beginning on the day of your arrival.

We're sorry that the schedule change for your coach meant that you lost skiing time on your first day. We do note that the times presented when booking are estimated and may change based on weather conditions and actual flight arrival times.

In your case, your transfer was pushed back from 10:30 to 11:30. As we were informed of this change the day before departure, and the possibility of changes such as this was made clear when booking, our team were not able to arrange a new transfer at such short notice.

We do apologise that this meant your holiday got off to a rocky start. We genuinely hope that you were able to enjoy the rest of your trip.

Exceptional

I have used Sunw...b previously but not much flexibility. Lucy from their Sales was amazing. We changed our requirements a few times and it was easy to get through but the speed with which Lucy managed it was exceptional.
Lucy's telephone manner was friendly and bubbly. Could not recommend more highly (and I hardly ever leave reviews)

Booking online straight forward and excellent service…

Our booking online was straight forward and we received confirmation emails. We used Mountain drop off as part of the booking and received details of where to meet 24hrs before, that service was ace. The accommodation was great too and I would recommend Heidi ski company. Thankyou we had a great short break to the Alps.
