service very poor

service very poor, you payed the insurance for many years ( big money ) and when you need to replace a unit, still they charge you exaggerated amounts and don't give you any other option to solve the problem.

You helped me with broken main water…

You helped me with broken main water pipe when I was away and when I came from Florida my problem was fixed I would not had any water in my ho me if it wasn't for home serve and All Island Plumbing .

The plumber came earlier than the appointment; which was good for me to get the job done. He was curious and unstopped my drain quickly. I'm very pleased with my plumbing contract with Home Serv.

We Cancelled the Policy

Been a Home Serve customer for about 3 or 4 years. First time I needed to use the policy for water heater repair or replacement, they denied my claim. Stating the water heater was installed incorrectly. Which I doubt because we've had it since 2006 with no problems until recently in 2026 when it made a banging sound and we went to check it out. Called Home Serve to come out and access it and was advised it needed major repairs or replacement. But they would not cover it. Home Serve had gone up on the monthly payments each year and have collected my money through CenterPoint. That's over $600 or more that I paid over the course of 3 to 4 years and got nothing in return. The company they sent out agreed to fix it but totally out of pocket to me. I called and cancelled the policy today. These types of policies always mess (not the word I really want to use) over the homeowner!!!!

We were very pleased that when the serviceman realized he was running late, he called to inform
us before his appointment time. The job was successfully completed in a timely manner.
