Working with Chris was 10/10!

Realistic, transparent and honest - he sold our house in 24 hours which in turn meant we were able to get the home we’d been dreaming about!

Communicating was easy, he’d get back to us straight away and would always answer any question we had. Clear communication between us and our buyers through Chris made the process so much smoother!

We recently sold our house with Chris at Hortons. On initial meeting his approach to selling stood apart as being up to date, targeted and making full use of all platforms to market the house with realistic, clear expectations set around achievable price. On our first meeting he immediately sought to understand our aim, why we wanted to sell and what we wanted to achieve. This was kept in mind throughout the process and he offered clear, useful advice on our onwards purchase as well. Chris is an expert in the local market and knows Market Harborough and surrounds inside out! Chris is friendly, approachable, excellent at maintaining contact and easy to work with. James from Hortons managed the viewing and offer process as well as completion day for my sale. It was a highly professional and positive viewing experience as James allowed me plenty of time to look around each room in my own time. It was really important as a first-time buyer that I was able to thoroughly take in the property and ask questions without feeling rushed or on a schedule - James was very happy to accommodate and provide answers throughout. I also had a smooth move-in day as James was ready at the property to hand over the keys and even helped me to check the meter readings at the property - as well as the condition of all the rooms - which I was very grateful of as a newbie to the process!

We’ve had a really good experience with this estate agent overall. After our first sale unfortunately fell through, they were quick to get things moving again and managed to secure another buyer in no time. Jamie helped us move from our first house nearly 10 years ago and was seamless. straight to the point - Nicole Is fantastic. When we decided to sell our first home we had numerous estate agents value the property, from the moment Nicole stepped through our front door she was knowledgeable, professional, friendly and most importantly, honest. She knew exactly what the market was doing and priced and advertised our house perfectly, it sold within a week! Throughout the sale she was always on hand to answer any silly questions I had and made the whole experience fantastic despite the stress selling can sometimes bring! I would recommend Nicole 1000%. If you want your house sold, Nicole will get the job done.

If I could give Chris 10 stars - I would! From start to (very stressful finish!) Chris was nothing short of fantastic. Friendly, meticulous and a wonderful chap to deal with. A voice of reason at many points through the selling ( and buying - even though not with Hortons) process, there when things got very tricky on completion day and also fab, checking in after! Chris handled my (what turned out to be a long and complicated ) sale. I was on my own, not living locally and selling my parents’ home with the emotions that raises . Chris provided support over and above what I could ever hope for or expected. His professionalism, expertise and personal control made me feel in safe hands and today we completed!
