Good quality, fast delivery

I ordered the personalised keyring where you could upload a drawing and have it put into a silver keyring (my 6 year old drew a picture of our family). It’s really well made, the drawing was transferred perfectly and it arrived really quickly. Very impressed - will be ordering from Hurleyburley again

Earrings exactly the same but two different prices

I wanted to purchase earrings for my two granddaughters, on the website I found small silver heart shaped earrings with crystals. There were two options, one pair were £12 and the other pair that looked exactly the same £15, I emailed the company to ask what the difference was, unfortunately I decided to go ahead and order before receiving a reply as I made the assumption that the more expensive earrings must be heavier or thicker. Today I got a response to my email saying both earrings are exactly the same so I was advised to order the £12 ones !! I emailed back and stated that I had already gone ahead and ordered two pairs of the more expensive ones and I requested that I be refunded the difference I had paid, I was told this was not possible as the order has shipped, I can’t see what this has to do with not being able to refund me the difference. The listing on the website and selling of these earrings by charging two different prices for the exact same product is totally misleading, and not right. I know it isn’t a lot, I’ve paid £6 over the top but it’s the principle and I would like the difference paid back to me. I would also therefore warn you to be really careful of making purchases on this website, it’s totally out of order selling the exact same product for two different prices

I'm sorry for any misunderstandings caused, I'd be happy to try and clarify what's caused this issue.

The two pairs of earrings you contacted us about though similar in design are actually different. The £12 set you were interested in are manufactured solely in one shape and metal, a heart in sterling silver, whereas the £15 set are manufactured in both heart and disc shape and were previously available in both sterling silver and 18ct rose gold plating, therefore the cost for production for us is higher hence the £3 difference for the option of the two different styles. As you only wanted the silver heart shaped earrings I did recommend you the £12.00 set, unaware at that moment you had already ordered.

I've gone back over the correspondence we've had since and I can see a colleague of mine has responded in my absence and misunderstood the situation, assuming that you were requesting a full refund of your order despite it being dispatched. I have since explained the situation to them and I have refunded you the £6.00 difference today.

I'm very sorry for any frustration this has caused you, our intent as a small business is always to be honest and upfront about all our products, I hope this helps to clarify there was simply a misunderstanding when answering your question, and I hope by resolving the error for you today you'd be inclined to amend your review as the problem has since been solved.

Excellent customer service!

I’d placed an order but was charged for international delivery instead of UK delivery, which I only noticed after the order had gone through. I emailed them straight away and it was all sorted out with no fuss within 24 hours. Great customer service!

Fantastic!

I have now ordered from Hurley Burley three times and have never been disappointed. The jewellery is a brilliant price and is lovely. They can engrave and get it to you by the next day. I don’t know how they do it! I very much recommend them- you won’t be disappointed!

FANTASTIC - highly recommend

I purchased a set of pink starfish mini earrings as a gift. Easy website to order off, posted same day and arrived within 2 days. The earrings are simply stunning and adorable. The cute little gift tag and bag were a sweet touch (included for free). The free postage was also a bonus. Would absolutely recommend this lovely company and will definitely order from again.

Bad quality jewelry!

I bought a Gold T Bar Chain Necklace in gold vermeil on 27/10/2020. I have always taken great care of it and stored it in its original box. 2 years later, black stains have appeared all over the necklace. I tried to clean it with a soft cloth but was unable to remove them. I contacted their customer service and they told me tarnishing occurs to all items overtime and since the necklace is out of warranty there was nothing they could do. I have jewelry in vermeil from another brand, some pieces I have owned for more than 3 years and they have never tarnished! I would not recommend Hurley Burley. To Hurley Burley who flagged my review because I mentioned one of their competitors, you should maybe offer a better customer service if you don’t want people complaining and mentioning your competitors.

Gold plated and sterling silver jewellery can tarnish naturally with time due to oxidisation, it is an easily rectified process which we did advise you on to the best of our ability. The rate at which it happens can vary between individual jewellery pieces, but overall we do assure quality with our jewellery.

Unfortunately our warranty only lasts up to a year including free repairs or replacements in case of any faults, if you wish to contact us against your old order number we can try to arrange a solution to your satisfaction.

Beautiful product at very reasonable price

This was my first time ordering from Hurleyburley and it definitely won't be my last. I ordered a 9ct gold necklace, which was absolutely stunning. The price was cheaper than a gold plated necklace at a high end jewellery company which shocked me. Customer service were very helpful and the delivery was quick and efficient. Thank you!

Trato excelente por parte del vendedor

Compré una pulsera excelente en Hurleyburley. Aunque tuve algún problema con ella. Pero ellos lo han solucionado de una manera muy profesional.
Además he contactado con ellos bastantes veces, y siempre han estado muy atentos y gracias a ello la conversación ha sido muy fluida.

Poor quality

The bracelet appears cheap and flimsy. I didn’t realise it was elasticated Pearl string and not a clip/ fastener. I am not sure that I will give it to the bride now.
Poor quality indeed.
The “gift card” is a message handwritten on an advertising card.

Absolutely fantastic company

Absolutely fantastic company, and the most helpful staff...as well as, of course their beautiful unique long lasting pieces!

The reason I rave so much, is not only because of my previous purchases over the years. They have recently gone above and beyond expectations, they really didn't need to, but they did! I won't bore you with what happened, however I just can't thank them enough for helping and responding so fast.

AVOID this company they are thiefs!

I’ve ordered many items from this company most notably 3 rosaries. Last year I informed them that the charm had come away so they advised I should send it back to be repaired, I work away from the uk so assumed they would send me the repaired item to my address. I got an email nearly a year after I sent it to say I had only sent the charm?! Firstly I never sent it without the chain & why would I be contacted nearly a year later about it. When i spoke to the Customer service ‘supervisor’ Jack he claims they all inspected the package when they received it last year, yet he said in the same breath he wasn’t working for the company at the time I was advised to send it back - also he went onto say that the agent should not have told me to send it back as it was out of warranty?! In his words the only thing his agent did wrong was to tell me to send it back which they shouldn’t have - the same agent who said the charm didn’t belong to a Hurley burley chain but yet if they are as knowledgable as they claim would look on their system and see that it was the exact charm from the order I had received from them. They also claim they contacted me last September but I have no email from them yet I have all correspondence gong back years regarding the numerous orders I’ve made with them. I then said at the bare minimum for the inconvenience is that they send me a chain and I get it repaired myself as we all know that the chains cost price is about £2. He said no - surprise. Also the agent in Ireland who claims to have opened my package despite me sending it to a London address is another lie from them. Basically avoid this scam company and their cheap jewellery that breaks easily. Awful thieving liars. Clearly someone stole my chain and they are trying to cover it up. Avoid at all costs.

When you were advised to send your package back it was received by a colleague of mine working at the business before myself, they checked the contents and sent you a message on the 1st of September 2022 about the fact that the chain was not included and the charm was incorrect. When they informed you of this they made a note against your order to indicate this should the issue come up in future.

When another colleague followed up with you several weeks ago and you requested we send back the package, I also double checked the contents and found there was only a charm, no chain. What I meant when I said we had all inspected it was over a period of months three people, including myself, inspected the package at different stages and each time the contents were the same.

We don't have any agents in Ireland as we are a small business in London so I am not sure what this comment refers to I'm afraid.

I appreciate you are frustrated by this situation, but we have tried our best to help clarify what the issue is and have attempted to contact you in the past about this in keeping with our guidelines. If we had received the chain we would happily have repaired it for you rather than inconvenience you like this.

I understand you are frustrated by this, I just want to reassure you that there has been no chance of theft on this occasion. We keep a clear list of all returned items and catalogue them, and none of our staff would do something like steal from a customer for any reason whatsoever.

We have been completely honest throughout this process, I am very sorry the situation could not be resolved to your satisfaction but we have done our best to be informative in the circumstances to try and clear this up for you.

Poor customer service

Ordered a pair of earrings which arrived broken. Have been told that I can only have them fixed and have not been offered a replacement pair. I will be returning them and requesting a refund as don't believe that these will be replaced. Very poor customer service. Such a shame as they were a nice pair of earrings

Excellent service

I ordered a personalised bracelet in large. I have another one the same. However the second one came up smaller and as I wanted to wear them together it meant they didnt sit comfortably on my wrist.
I contacted Hurley Burley who emailed a pre paid label. I sent the bracelet to them and it was rectified and returned to me within 3 or 4 days. Excellent, efficient and friendly service as always. Cant praise the team enough. Well done guys!
