Do not use this company. All the reviews here relate to the shop in Baddow Road which has not been there now for a long time. I contacted Gordon (who now works from home - address known), having seen the notice on the door regarding still doing repairs as i had several repairs done previously at the shop with no issues. However this time i had my Dell desktop repaired in October 2024. I eventually received it back 2 weeks later after several let downs on the return delivery. On trying to start the machine i got the same error message as previous. I contacted Gordon who now trades from home and he re-collected the machine. This time it took from early November to mid February for it to be repaired allegedly, when eventually i ended up collecting it from his house! Having started it up on getting home it sounded like a bag of spanners something obviously catching the fan. I again contacted Gordon, not that he replies to his text messages very often, he offered me a partial refund for the long time it has taken and for being so patient. He then tells me he has had to undertake another job other than i-Squad, as business has been fairly quiet! We are now mid July and i have still not received any refund, my desktop still doesnt work and he lost my keyboard USB receiver so i am a keyboard down aswell. I have given Gordon ample opportunity to come up with a refund which he has promised several times but then radio silence - Do Not Use!!

Gordon was great and went above and beyond with all tasks I would highly recommend him and isquad

Great service! Got my Macbook PRO battery replaced at home and it was done to high standard and very quick. Some more Gordon cleaned up the dust from my other MAC as well. Can highly recommend!

Broken hinge/screen connection on a MacbookPro 13".

Diagnosis within a minute, and repair within a couple of days, in spite of the work falling over a Bank Holiday weekend which delayed arrival of the replacement parts.

Cannot fault service, price or friendly and knowledgeable service.

My phone was not charging properly. Went into the Chelmsford I squad. Immediate service no wait. Gordon cleaned the phone and no charge! Great service. Would recommend.

I quad were fantastic great customer service they had the part in stock and no appointments required
I just walked in and an hour later job done.

And 2 weeks later a follow up
email to ensure everything was okay

Popped into the iSquad shop near the Odeon cinema, Chelmsford, as my iPhone 12 had sporadic charging issues.

Pleasant and professional service which fully fixed the problem within 10 minutes.

On Saturday 28 October I popped into iSquad wanting a new battery for my iphone.
Quality battery installed straight away by a very friendly and helpful man.
Excellent service.

Popped in to get my iPhone charging port fixed. The guy working there really friendly and had it done in no time. Great service.

I took my iMac to iSquad in May. The hard drive had failed on it and they told me they could replace it along with servicing the computer. When I got it back from them it struggled with me transferring data over and doing basic functions.

I called iSquad and explained that the iMac still wasn’t working properly. They told me to bring it back in, which I did.

I then heard nothing from them and had to chase them repeatedly to find out what was happening for two weeks.

I then looked into the online reviews more and saw that other people had had similar experiences of failed repairs - some repeated attempts and ending with seemingly no refund and no repaired device. So I collected my iMac and requested a refund - which I received.

I then took my iMac to a trusted repair centre (Mac Repairs Herts) whom I’d used previously. I was informed by them that the hard drive iSquad had fitted in my iMac was in fact 10 years old!

If you value your time, money and devices - avoid!

Very disappointed with my service this time, after a previous seamless screen repair.
I delivered my device early Saturday morning and was told Monday afternoon. When I called to check on Monday, I was told Tuesday or Wednesday. When I called to check Tuesday, I was told another day or two. The same story on Wednesday. Noone emailed me to keep me informed or offered any explanation or apology. I eventually got my phone back on Friday. 5 DAYS after I was told. Again no apology or even suggestion of a discount on the price I had paid upfront. I told them repeatedly that I urgently needed my phone for work. They told me that they had messaged me on Thursday ON MY PHONE! Really poor.

Open straightforward approach to fixing an iWatch with cracked back. Replacement parts sourced promptly from abroad and fitted without delay on receipt. Good communication and efficient delivery.

We had a broken I-Pad screen and found iSquad on line. They were great! I took it in late Thursday and they apologised that they wouldn’t get it back to us the next day and it would be Saturday! And I was thinking it would take a week 😂. They were very reasonably priced too. They kept in touch by text and my IPad was ready on Saturday. Fabulous service for great service

hard drive on iMac was changed from fusion drive to solid state and runs much faster. Reasonable prices and excellent service.

My 10 year old iMac needed replacing so I bought a new one but was not confident about transferring all my data. Gordon came to my house two days after I bought the new iMac and did the job. I thought his charges were very reasonable and whilst here he also sorted out a problem with my iPhone. And he is such a nice man! I will not hesitate to call him again when I need help with the computer or the phone

Took my mac book air into isquad back in May 2021. Called them up they asked me to being it in ao they coukd look and give me a price
Was quoted £450 and told it would be a new screen. Was shocked at how expensive it was but as I needed my laptop to do my course work and had used these guys before I was confident they would do a good job. They done the repair within a few days picked it up with the new shiny screen i was pleased. After a few days I noticed there was lifting occurring at the bottom corner of the screen and also a very small crack on the screen. I was told flat out the crack would of definitely of been caused from pressure to the screen by myself which I accepted. The young lady took the laptop and took it to one of the engineers to fix the problem with the lifting of the screen edge.
Now what I have just discovered today made my blood boil. As its been a year the screen has sustained that bleeding to LCD which was hindering the use of the laptop. I decided to get the screen replaced by another company who informed me the screen that isquad had uses was a CHEAP copy and not even a genuine apple screen. He explained and showed me all the genuine bar codes marked on the genuine screen and the one one used by i-squad did not have these and even had the manufactures sticker that he could identify where they had brought it. To say I'm disappointed is a understatement, £450 they charged me for a copy, obviously I had no way of knowing! Just goes to show these companies have the cheek and audacity to rip us mere mortals off as we accept and don't know any different. Lesson learned I'll never use isquad again and anyone who's getting a screen replaced ask to see the screen or even make sure a genuine part has been used on the laptop or gadget we are handing over to these people. Not one to write reviews but felt very angry and want people to know!!
