We had the immense pleasure of working with Jeremy to design our wedding bands.

We wanted something that would use my heirloom wedding bands and engagement/eternity rings that have been in my family for generations, and hold such sentiment to me.

We also wanted them designed just for us.

We didn’t want plain. We wanted the jewellery that would outlast our lifetimes to be unique and deeply personal to us.

It took six months to find the artist. It had to be Jeremy. I found him on Facebook reels, and was so glad I did. We looked through his stunning website and just … knew. His work is pure craftsmanship, his knowledge unsurpassed and his eye for detail and design is truly second to none.

Jeremy is an absolute joy to work with. We told him the ideas we had and roughly what we wanted, and let him work his magic - and it is pure alchemy, when you allow a designer to design! Nothing was too much trouble and we didn’t feel rushed or pressured into or out of anything when we flew over for our consultation with our bad sketches and heirloom jewellery. His easy going manner and design knowledge of what would and wouldn’t look right was invaluable. The fact he was eager and excited to work on the designs put us completely at ease, and knowing he would amalgamate heirlooms into our pieces was the icing on the cake.

We walked away knowing we had absolutely made the right decision in Jeremy with the largest jewellery decision we would ever make.

When we flew over to collect the rings we were excited but also nervous. If my mouth doesn’t say it, my face will if I don’t like something! We shouldn’t have been worried. Both rings surpassed our expectations by a country mile. Mine … well, I was speechless, which is not like me. It takes a lot to shock me, but my ring was breathtaking, and more than I could ever have imagined or designed by myself.

For context, I had a 4 carat teal sapphire cut for me from raw by a lapidary as my engagement ring, but the setting I had chosen was too low to set off the stone to its full potential. I wanted to keep it and make it the centrepiece. Jeremy (somehow) set it so the light could pass through and catch all the different shades and tones from deep blue through to teal green with a flash of purple. He also grouped myriad heirloom diamonds to reflect the sapphire further. It now dances with lush colour. He took my raw materials and made them incredible.

My fiance’s wedding band was exactly as we designed and imagined, but somehow even better. I truly do not know how Jeremy does it, but he does. I had the lapidary make two small sapphires out of the raw stone he cut mine from to set into my fiance’s ring to match mine, and Jeremy showcased them to perfection.

If you are looking for pure craftsmanship, and unique, one of a kind design, Jeremy is the designer you have (possibly long) been searching for. If you want a ring that could have been mass produced from any shop, please don’t insult him.

Jeremy, you turned little more than broken jewellery, gemstones and half baked ideas into the most significant rings we will ever have. They are proof that art and artistry is truly still alive and well.

Five stars because Jeremy did an amazing job crafting a beautiful ring that I will enjoy frequently. We did have one hiccup on shipping, but it wasn’t Jeremy‘s fault. It was customs being a pain; shipping to the USA can be tough sometimes.
