I would give no starts if i could!!

My partner purchased a ring for me from Jeulia for around £1,600, and the experience has been extremely disappointing and misleading from start to finish.

The ring itself arrived with several workmanship faults: the Maisonette finish looked dull, the prongs were bulky and uneven, the centre stone had a glassy reflection rather than the depth shown in the photos, and the ring was scratchy and uncomfortable to wear on both sides.

Customer service refused a refund and repeatedly claimed the ring was “customised,” even though the only options available were size and whether to add the Maisonette upgrade. There was no metal choice, no colour choice, and no personalisation of any kind.

What makes this worse is the misleading checkout process. The website uses a .co.uk domain and displays GBP pricing, which gives the impression of a UK‑based retailer. However, after paying the £1,600, my partner received a separate email demanding £400 in import VAT and duty fees. This additional charge was not included on the original invoice, and when he logs into his Jeulia account, it appears as two separate transactions, which is extremely deceptive.

We have clearly outlined that under UK consumer law, when an item arrives faulty, the seller is required to provide a full refund upon return, regardless of their internal policy. Jeulia has refused to honour this and continues to avoid providing a lawful refund.

The entire experience has been misleading, deceptive, and far below the standard expected from a company presenting itself as UK‑based. If this is not resolved by the end of next week, we will be raising a dispute through the bank.

I did not receive yet… but the stocks and the prices are quite impressive.

I purchased a Jeulia Bypass Ocean Wave Oval Blue Topaz ring in memory of my 30 year old daughter who passed away two months ago. Her favourite colour was blue and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. Had it engraved with 'Love you forever'. Communication from them was excellent. Emailed them and had a response the next day with lovely kind words. Ring arrived 7 days after ordering and it has exceeded my expectations. Excellent quality. It is so beautiful just like my daughter. I am so pleased with it. Highly recommend Jeulia.
If you look around the website, it clearly states they are based in Hong Kong. Doesn't bother me. I'm extremely happy

I have ordered before with no issue ns liked what I had .
This time I haven’t even recieved an acknowledging reply to my email .
Jeulia , either send my order or return my money IMMEDIATELY. I WILL take this to the end of the line if you keep failing to respond .
This was ordered 3 weeks ago and you promised a four day Delivery time .

Firstly, hiding behind a .CO.UK website address when they are based in Hong Kong is suggesting they could be UK based and covered by UK law. They aren't & don't!
Peridot green can be almost white apparently, and if you have any engraving, a return could cost you 35%.
My experience was of poor quality and of course using their small print to absolve of any responsibility.
Lesson learned - buy in the UK!
Update 16/9/26 - Jeulia emailed after the above review, offering full refund but returning the item to a US address. The postal cost then Chumps tariff puts you off returning unless you have a serious defect of course. The original country is China with no import duty so, I can only assume knowing the US tariff will put people off returning especially if you have a customised item with 35% charge on top.
As said - BUY IN THE UK!
Update 4/10/26 - Jeulia have emailed offering 50% if I changed my review. I responded with suggesting a UK returns office would greatly reduce postage & tariff cost and I would forgo the refund and when a UK return is open would update this review, they said that it would take over a year (or rather we won't be doing that). I responded with when can customers return to Hong Kong, they ignored that and said I can still return to the US.
As stated - BUY IN THE UK!
