Journey Bikes is un-responsive to my inquiry about a mower I bought from them 8.22.26 and have not received. Bought through Spotify which is also un-responsive to my inquiries

Scam. Or went bankrupt and shut down after taking everyone's money?

I ordered a utility trailer on 8/23/26 with the expected delivery date of 5-7 days. I did check the net for reviews and company credibility before purchase. At that time it seemed legit. After a week I haven’t had a confirmation of shipping or any shipping details so I checked the web site. Now it seems to be gone. The “.com” is now show to be for sale, meaning the company is most likely gone. There is no way to get in contact with them at this point. I just filed a dispute with my credit card and I would not purchase any expensive items off the net from questionable companies and only do business with longstanding large name companies, unfortunately costing significantly more.

I placed an order for a go-kart on 8/22/26. Got an email confirming the order with a link to view the order on the Journey bikes website. The website no longer functions. I emailed the journeybikes.com address from the order confirmation on 8/26/26 asking for a tracking number. No response. I will be disputing this charge with my credit card.

I ordered a coffee machine from this company. They deducted the purchased price from my Visa card and sent me a verification email with an order number and information about electric bikes. I have sent two emails requesting to know when the item will be shipped. No response! I now believe this is a scam. If anyone knows what state these people are licensed, please let me know so I can file a complaint with the attorney general of that state.

Made an order and haven't received an update since. Have no way to contact them or anything.

I made a purchase that said 5-8 business days for delivery. No communication since it says order in progress, and now the website no longer exists? I hope I'm wrong and can change this review. It has only been 4 business days so far so I'll give it until next week to see.

I have been contacting by email and calling about a defective battery you sold me for like 10 days now. No one answers and no one calls me back. Now the time is ending where my warranty will be up soon and it will be late. What kind of customer service is this?

Ordered an e-bike battery. Money was withdrawn from my credit card, then returned. No explanation given.

The bike is wonderful. It reaches speed, brakes and everything. The shipping is lacking. I have a scratched battery because of loose packaging and not secured to the frame. But I love it anyway.

There was no communication about an order that was not fulfilled during the 7-10 days quoted on their website.
My purchase was on 11/15/2025 for a replacement battery that wasn't immediately available directly from the bike manufacturer.

I waited approximately two weeks for an email with shipping information, and heard nothing. Next, I used their website's contact page and requested a status update; no reply.

On 12/5/2025, I emailed them directly. BTW, the online chat feature doesn't work, and there is no phone number to contact them, which I find annoying and adds to the lack of trust I have in this company. This could have been handled efficiently by speaking to a person.
Almost immediately on 12/5, I received a reply claiming to have already emailed me, claiming, "We sent a message a few weeks ago. The battery is backordered and won't be available until mid December."

I checked spam, and nothing was there either. Again, how about calling me since there was going to be a long delay? Crazy how I got a reply when emailing directly, yet not when using their contact form. Perhaps they need to update their website; either way, it's suspicious.

Sunday, 12/7, I received another email:
"I just got an email from Nakto. The battery is at sea - they are expecting it in the warehouse in 4 weeks. I'm so sorry for the delay but it's on its way. I'll let you know as soon as I ship it."
Make note, this would not be mid-December as I was told in the previous email.

At that point, I lost all trust in their ability to fulfill my order at all and requested a full refund.
They agreed and still screwed that up by issuing only a partial refund, shorting me the $20 shipping fee.

When I emailed to ask for an explanation, I was ghosted once again. Their customer service is abominable to say the least.

As it's the holidays, I haven't followed up; my time is worth more than $20 at this point.

All of this has led me to a one-star review based on my experience and a heads-up for any customer looking for recommendations.

I still believe that if Journey Bikes had a phone number I could use to speak with a live person, it would have been an entirely different experience, and most likely, even with the backorder delay I could have easily checked on, it would have led to a satisfied customer.

Lastly, I hope holding onto my $20 was worth it.

I love the malibu bikes. The batteries cut out once in a while but it's the only battery to fit...so i keep buying them. Or i would have to get another bike.

Sent the wrong bike and have not responded to my 5 emails and phone calls

I bought a Greattan trike that weighs 153 lbs with battery. This trike rack is rated for 150 lbs. Tight but works. The rack is large enough for this monster etrike. The only thing I did to modify it was use a ramp for the center where the front wheel goes. That way I just drive it onto the rack. I will say it took quite some time to assemble the rack.

Ordered the bike at posted price and they called and said the order had to be canceled because it shouldn’t have been posted at that price. Did reorder it for the extra roughly 300$ by told them in an email that they should honor the price posted, it was the 3rd one I’ve bought from journey
