My insurance went up 56% from one renewal to the next. I have been with knose for 6 years, and have never seen such a large renewal.
I lodged a complaint and was told vet costs, risk and the fact I have claimed on my own policy (god forbid I use the insurance I pay for) is why the renewal price has over doubled.

My cat is now too old to move insurers, which is likely why they did not put the price up so drastically until now
I have had a great experience with Knose up until the last year. Now claims take weeks to be paid (usually I have to prompt them to see why it is taking so long) and with this renewal increase, it has really soured my experience with them.
I would not recommend Knose to others and will not use them again for future pets.

Knose are a good company to deal with. I have never had an issue with them, my claims have been promptly dealt with and if I have needed to speak to someone the staff have been kind and considerate. The only negative is the portal that you need to log into to place a claim has been down for quite a long time, fix this and you would get 5 stars.

really easy to claim now (two years ago it was a big drama but they have made changes). My dog gets into lots of accidents and they never quibble.

My dog is going through some issues at the moment but Knose has been so accommodating with processing our claims quickly and efficiently.

Easy claim process, although unfortunately our Vet Clinic can't process immediately. Premiums have increased, so paying a lot, however satisfied with the cover. Overall very happy.

I always recommend Knose to anyone interested in pet insurance. There is no hidden things you pay for that are unnecessary and they always pay out on what they say they will. They are quick and efficient at following up the vet's who can really take their time getting the details to them. I have no complaints and we are in our second year of cover now.

Knose was with me during the beautiful 6 years I had with my goofy greyhound, who manage more than once to get herself in a pickle, providing friendly service, and easy claims. They are also one of the most reasonable pet insurers, making my monthly payment value for money.

When the time came to bid our gal goodbye, Knose went to the extra effort to express their condolences, and wrapping up her account with no fuss, which was much appreciated.

We recently lost our beloved dog to congestive heart failure. Throughout the final year of their life, we incurred vet bills totaling $4500. We chose seventy percent coverage to keep premiums manageable, and the insurance reimbursed us just over $3000. What impressed me most was the support team's genuine empathy when I called, combined with their efficient turnaround on reimbursement. The claims process was straightforward and quick. While it was a difficult time, knowing we could afford the treatments our pet needed to help make our pet's life comfortable without financial strain made all the difference. I'd absolutely recommend this Knose to anyone considering pet insurance.

Please read this review to make an informed choice about Knose Insurance. Their conduct in unconscionable which only becomes evident as your dog becomes older or you need to make claims. Ihave insured my two dogs with Knose for some years now. They are both Griffons, one is five years old and the other just turned 10 years old. The older Griffon has had a number of claims over the years totalling $6012.88 as advised by Knose for various issues of which $2992 was incurred in the last policy period. I have just received my policy premiums for each dog. The younger dogs premium increased from $92 per month to $100. The older dogs premium increased from $146 to $284! Now here is why I believe Knose is deceitful. When I queried why the premium for the older dog had nearly doubled I was advised both verbally and later in writing that it was due to a number of factors including age, breed, location, claims history, veterinary cost inflation and claims experience for similar pets. I queried Knose Insurance about why when did my younger dogs premium increased by only $8 when they are the same breed, go to the same vet and live in the same location? The only difference was age and claim history. When I asked whether doubling the renewal cost was a strategy by Knose to discourage older dogs having their annual policy renewed, they denied this. Knose don’t tell you when your dog is young that premiums jump significantly as they get older or your pet needs medical support. That is only revealed come policy renewal time. If it wasn’t for the fact that I had a younger and healthy same breed dog, o would have fallen for their deceitful reasons. The facts are absolutely clear that Knose Insurance do not want to reduce risk and old age and claims history is identifiable risk which data they use to adjust your premium to a level that discourages you from renewing your policy. There are similar stories to mine in other online reviews. Please do your research and make an informed decision because the pet insurance industry is not what it leads you to believe. They simply do not care about your ageing pet.
