I ordered on line .. TARNHOWS TOTE BAG, leather and suede . It’s beautiful. A little larger than I thought … it also has a zip to close it to stop any loss of contents. The company is always very helpful and individual staff also helpful knowledgeable and friendly. I never hesitate to order from them.

From purchase to returns .. A fist class service

My online order of a sheepskin jacket which didn't fit well was sorted out by the Ambleside warehouse sending two other sizes of the same jacket to the Keswick store. The staff at Keswick were friendly and helpful and the exchange was soon sorted.

The goods, a Handbag, arrived very quickly. It's a present for my wife's birthday so I haven't really looked at it closely. However it does on a cursory glance look to be good quality... I can always comment again once the gift has been given.

I bought a Navy Raven crossbody bag in August and used it for the first time on holiday. I got caught in the rain and the dye from the bag came off on my trousers and when it got wet again, I had to wipe the dye off with tissues.
I have contacted Lakeland Leather to make them aware of my problem. I expected them to offer me a credit note or a refund. (I would happily return the bag, if necessary.) Well, was I disappointed! The customer service representative told me in writing that Lakeland bags and NOT waterproof and that dye transfer when the bags are wet is normal. I also still waiting for a reply to second email about the problem.
So, although my Lakeland Leather bag is very nice, I can’t take it out just in I get caught in the rain and that isn’t ‘fit for purpose’ in my opinion.
Please be aware that according to Lakeland Leather, their handbags are NOT waterproof and the dye can transfer. Also from my experience, its customer service is not customer focused and not willing to accept responsibility for an unacceptable issue with one of its products. Extremely disappointed.
2 weeks later: Lakeland Leather has now agreed to a refund for my bag. Unfortunately, I have lost confidence in their products.

Compact bag, lightweight. Well made with soft leather. Just what she wanted.

The jacket is very well made and comfortable to wear. Less navy and more dark grey, which is preferable. The delivery service - next day - was also very good. Highly recommended

I usually only buy big name brands. Like mulberry and LV etc, but my Lakeland’s bag, is absolutely amazing! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend! Well done!

Bought a beautiful Penton jacket from Lakeland. My son managed to get a water mark on it so I contacted Lakeland for advice which they replied straight away. I bought the care kit which I wish I had bought originally when I bought the jacket. Both the service and the product have been brilliant.

A very good quality jacket.I bought Braithwaite bomber. The leather is very soft. My size is 12-14 and I ordered a size 14. It fits perfectly; I can even wear a thin sweater underneath. It's exactly as pictured. I love it. Delivery was very fast, just 2 days after ordering.

It was well packaged and smelt of lovely new leather when opened

I ordered on Friday and received order the following day. Absolutely marvellous turn around. Very pleased with my purchase the leather is good quality and very pleased with the fit. I went up one size so I could put jumpers underneath so pleased.
