I am quite disappointed in my doll. But I will give the positives first. My granddaughters name was spelt correctly on both sides of her jacket. The size and her colours are lovely and I would have been happy to pay £10/£15 for that. HOWEVER the big disappointment is the songs it’s meant to play. One arm doesn’t work and when looked the wires have come out of the sound box. The songs on the one arm that does work is tinny and hard to hear. Furthermore it’s very easy to get to the battery pack that I wouldnt feel comfortable leaving the doll unattended with my young grandchild. So because of these points I would definitely not recommend unless have a huge discount. The product is 100% NOT worth the money. I would suggest going to somewhere like build a bear instead. I would ask for a refund but k am not willing to pay the returns post and packaging. And I can’t see how a replacement would be any better

My daughter received a Leya doll last December for her birthday, and unfortunately the overall quality has been very disappointing. She only played with it for a short period of time before the stitching around the skirt began to come apart. For a doll at this price point, we expected much better craftsmanship and durability.
The personalized name was another major issue. The font they used is overly decorative, with so many curls and overlapping strokes that the letters are barely recognizable. Even as an adult, I had trouble figuring out what it was supposed to say. The personalization was one of the main reasons we chose this doll, so it was frustrating to see it executed so poorly. Use a legible font so kids can read the name.
After reading a review on Trustpilot about the doll had a odder I went an I also noticed a faint odor coming from the doll. It wasn’t extremely strong, but it was noticeable enough to raise concerns. I’m not sure if it arrived that way or if the material absorbed a smell afterward, but either scenario is not ideal for a children’s toy.
Between the weak stitching, the unreadable personalization, and the odd smell, the doll simply hasn’t met basic expectations. At this point, we’re considering throwing it out entirely. I’ve already shared my experience with friends and relatives so they’re aware and don't purchase one.

Unfortunately, as this was a gift, the family that gave it to my dughater no longer has the order number. Because of the poor stitching and the concerning odor, we didn't feel comfortable keeping the doll around our daughter and have already thrown it away.
I don't think there is much that can be done to 'put a smile back on her face' at this point.

I ordered a personalized doll, and the experience has been nothing but frustrating. The first doll arrived with the name printed in a font so illegible that you couldn’t even read it. I requested a replacement, which they sent—but that one arrived with a strong odor. I tried airing it out, but the smell never went away, and my granddaughter refused to play with it.
They sent yet another replacement, but this time it was missing the small attachment that is supposed to come with the doll. When I asked them to fix the issue, they told me they had “done enough” and refused to replace the item or refund my money.
At this point, none of the problems have been resolved. If they keep making mistakes, that should not be my responsibility to absorb. I paid for a complete, usable product, and I still don’t have one. Very disappointed with both the quality control and the customer service.
I will never buy or recommend anyone to buy a Doll from Leya Doll.

I’m going to be very direct because this has gone on long enough.
Yes, you have sent multiple replacements — but none of them have been correct, complete, or acceptable. Sending several flawed or incomplete dolls does not equal providing “three high‑quality, personalized dolls,” and it certainly does not resolve the original issue.
I did not ask for multiple different dolls. I asked for one doll, correctly made, with all accessories, and without defects. That still has not happened.
Your message suggests that the number of replacements somehow demonstrates exceptional service. It doesn’t. It simply shows that the problem has never been fixed.
At this point, I am not interested in more replacements. Just refund my money.

I was eyeing a doll that was out of stock for some time for my daughter for Christmas, it came back in stock around Black Friday deal and I checked out immediately so she can have the doll that looked most similar to her (Posy Mae). My daughter played with it for a total of 1 week when I noticed the personalization just completely was peeling off and had to take the doll from her which made her HYSTERICAL. I contacted customer support 2 times and there is no response. They ignored all my emails. This doll is advertised for babies but it is NOT SAFE for babies. The letters come off and are a CHOKING HAZARD. Beware parents!
Update: I initially left a bad review however, I was finally contacted by Leya Doll, and they took ownership of the defective personalization. Thankfully they will send me another one without the personalization (as I requested). For other customers: the email for "help" was not working and only filling in a form on their website is how they were able to reach back. I am therefore changing the rating back up to 4 stars. Thank you.
