I have always used LifeProof as did my other three family members and have loved their products and customer service from the minute their products were pitched we were in w them since 2010?? We have recycled about 15 cases as a family—Advance to iPhone 11: the material that is used is completely different. Hard crackable plastic with a new ( horrible) charge port cover design. Within one week the charge port cover cracked off. One 2ft phone drop and chip on corner- one week from purchase. Our LifeProof cases from Amazon are getting returned. We spent 175.00 on two cases that are work 5$ each —a shame because your original product and CS was outstanding. WE WILL MISS THE ORIGINAL PRODUCT DEARLY!!

The quality of those case are crap! I’ve never had a issue until now now that life proof and outterbox are now “family” they give you hell to replace the cases even though your in the system and have been for over a year. You spend your money for a life warranty replacement which is not cheap

Case claims to be “MagSafe”, if that means it won’t work and will damage handset then ok. To avoid confusion, expense and zero service then avoid Lifeproof and Otterbox

The quality of their cases are crap.
I got one case for the iPhone XS and one for the iPhone 11.
Both covers for the camera lenses are made of very cheap materials. After a month, it’s impossible to take any photos anymore without a drastic loss of quality. If you are going to remove them, your phone isn’t waterproof anymore.
I won’t recommend anyone to buy their overpriced phone cases.

Iphone 12Pro lifeproif cover is absolute crap, does not fit well, gap between screen and protective cover front makes it hard to use causing me to have to press ridiculously hard to get screen to react to touch.
I will never buy another case from life proof how can you charge so much for total rubbish.

I ordred an iphone cover from this company and received an acknowledgement from LifeProof.ie, followed at about 5 day intervals with further emails with increasingly improbable reasons for non-delivery. I have been offered a refund so we shall see. Hard to believe this company know what they're doing

One star too many for the LifeProof, IPhone Pro Max 12 cover!
The LifeProof cover for my new iPhone 12, automatically switches off the sound button, blocks the microphones so, you need to hold the phone to your ear while talking, so no hands free option AND, don’t get me started on the cover section for the camera lenses, absolute rubbish!
I don’t leave negative reviews very often, as my Mum always said, when we were growing up “if you’ve got nothing nice to say then, don’t say anything at all”, but then I bought a LifeProof cover!
LifeProof, your product is absolute garbage.

I normally don’t write reviews, however I’ve had a horrible experience with my life proof FRE 12 mini case. I have been through TWO soon to be THREE life proof cases due to the camera lense cover scratching and fogging. It will not clean and it creates awful picture quality. I do not recommend.

I would rate a 0 if I could. The rep was super helpful and understanding of my situation, assuring me he’d expedite a replacement case. He told me this regarding my old/broken iPhone 12 case: “As for the old case, keep it for spare parts, donate it, throw it away...” I was particularly happy to hear this because I no longer had the broken case (I had recently moved and didn’t think to pack my broken phone case...) He told me I would get a confirmation email in a few minutes. We got off the phone. I was happy. Until I got the email. It was not in fact a confirmation. It was a request for a picture of my broken case. I have now been told they are unable to fulfill the warranty because I do not have pictures. I have now had back and forth with numerous managers ignoring my request to “pull the call” and instead repeating the same canned response requesting pics and apologizing that without them there will be no replacement case. I was told to throw it away! Now they are saying I can’t get a replacement without it! Poor poor poor customer experience. I am extremely disappointed. Now I want my $69.99 back and a replacement case!

Very unimpressed - Lifeproof products come in fancy packaging but are extremely expensive for what they are. Avoid.

I've been using lifeproof cases since the iPhone 4 never had a single issue I have bounced around with otterbox and had cases crack and tear but unlike LIFEPROOF Otterbox actually takes care of there customers.
Got a case not even a year ago the top broke couldn't make a claim on the site so I emailed them and was told it's discontinued but if I get a new phone within a year they'll give me 20% off, so that one can break and I can just keep paying out of pocket for "lifeproof" save your money get a different case.

My case get broken and after I submit my claim, they said product is discontinued, but THEY are still selling it on Amazon. Bunch of layers. You better save your money and shop somewhere else.

Well, I have had these cases for the last 10 years and your phone is totally protected and after 2 years in the case your phone is like new. I bought a case off Amazon who said I was too late for a replacement. I contacted Lifeproof, gave all info required and I got a free replacement from lifeproof for which was brilliant and I can not fault them, for some reason on the Fre 11 iPhone case the rubber came soft and peeled away, but it still protected the phone, cases are expensive but you only need one to protect your phone and it does the job.

Terrible customer service. I bought Lifeproof cases beginning many years ago, and their customer service used to be impeccable. I have moved to a different country now, where for some reason I am unable to purchase a case directly from their websites and despite getting in touch with them through social media and asking for assistance on where to purchase it from, I got no help. I should have taken it as a sign but I used to love their cases and wanted one for my new iPhone 11 Pro - so I ordered it to another country and had a friend ship it to me directly ( I paid for import duties etc and essentially my case cost over $200) I tested the case and put it on my phone, and within two weeks it was unusable! The plastic covering over the cameras was completely scratched up and it is impossible to take pictures with the case on now! I have to take the case off every time I want to take a picture which is ridiculous so I don’t use it anymore. It is the same for the front camera as well, although the back has fared much worse. What a waste of money and effort and I will never recommend or use their products again. how disappointing to see that they have got worse over time in customer support and product quality.

These cases are a heap of expensive junk.the plastic has cracked the rubber peels off under your finger nails.

If I could say 0 I would. ABSOLUTE worst customer service EVER!! After paying that price for a product, it should last, further more Susan, when it does not, the warranty should be upheld. I emailed and tried to contact from may 15 and finally got it resolved June but st. After they shipped the wrong case, and then shipped another to wrong address, I was told they no longer make the 2 cases I need. It's been 1 year since I purchased. Both phones are cracked and broken. Because the case failed. My oldest 2 bought the cheaper cases, their phones are fine. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR ENERGY ON A CRAPPY PRODUCT WITH CRAPPIER CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!?!

The case started leaking after 11 months. I tried to file a warranty claim and the website kept looping back to the homepage. Lifeproof did contact me and said the website had issues. So, I tried again, filled out a warranty claim and now a year later I have not heard anything. Save your $100.

A worse case I cannot imagine. Granted, my case is years old...BUT...it just sits on my bedside table. I use my phone only to listen to podcasts at night. It stays where it is. But check this out - THIS CASE IS DISINTEGRATING!!! It's hard to imagine this, but I swear it's true. Like it is just falling apart and crumbling like a piece of toast or something. Every time I touch it, the case seems to get more fragile and more of it falls off. Like an ancient ruin or something. Serious P.O.S...I have a feather collection that is more resilient.

‘Fre’ phone case literally disintegrated within 3 months of use. Had to pay for return postage AND replacement postage and the replacement case did the exact same thing. Appalling customer service. The warranty and replacement process are a complete farce. Save your money, your time and your phone and shop elsewhere!

i would not even give them a 1 star i spoke with steve a supervisor and he was as useless as there warranty. save your money and go get the $15 case from amazon
