I would give a half star but not available. If the company that makes your device discontinues the device then apparently life proof stops producing the cases. I was told at purchase time that the warranty was for THE LIFE of the device. Guess not. Never again
Complete and utter false…
Complete and utter false advertising...I bought for Fre cases for my 4 iPhone SEs 2nd. They are advertised as the same Fre case for iPhone 7/8. The Fre 7/8 case has a window and the Fre SE case is solid with no window. I bought 4 cases thinking they were the same as advertised online and on the boxes for the case. I have 2 cases that are solid back and 2 with windows. The iPhone SEs do not have an Apple logo on the back. Completely different case. It wouldn’t be that big of a deal, but I spent $400 on 4 cases and they are not consistent. I contacted Lifeproof and they are doing nothing to help me.

I have been a die hard LifeProof fanatic for YEARS. Before I open the box for a phone, I have a LifeProof ready and waiting for it and have never had an issue in all my years with them. I have trusted them with my life, but now that I have moved from iphone to Galaxy, I feel their case quality has plummeted. I'm so beyond disappointed. The camera glass is so large on the back that it has a lot of exposed area and they took absolutely no precautions to safeguard the plastic window or in any way prevent their antiglare coating from just rubbing off the plastic window. I travel the world taking photos on my phone and very shortly after getting the new phone, I noticed all the color washing out of my important photos while traveling. Once in a lifetime photos ruined because they were way over exposed! I looked at the camera and sure enough there were streaks where the anti glare coating had rubbed off so the sunlight just washes out the photos. The streaks grew over time and this past trip to a Korean national park was ruined when all my photos were so grainy from sun glare that I lost many as beyond repair. I had LifeProof send me a new case and it didn't come in a box to protect it so RIGHT OUT OF THE MAILER, THERE IS A SPOT OF MISSING COATING ON THE CAMERA PLASTIC WHICH IS JUST GOING TO GROW LIKE ON THE ORIGINAL CASE! Either don't half --- your products so the coating covers the entire window or don't make the coating so delicate that it can't even get to the customer without coming off. Beyond disappointed and will be looking into other waterproof case brands. Can't believe I've lost so many pictures!
UPDATE: I contacted LifeProof for a replacement of the replacement and the representative Garrett lied to me and told me that the S10 cases were all discontinued in every color, even the service replacement parts and would not replace my case. You can buy a case from them and they don't even have cases to replace them with to fulfill their warranty??? I asked for confirmation that he was stating this for EVERY COLOR, not just my blue case and he confirmed: EVERY COLOR.

But needless to say, this was a lie by their representative as I proceeded to use their self serve warranty page and immediately was shipped out a case. Unfortunately through the self serve, I was only offered either an ugly black case or a dull grey one. At least it's a case until I decide which higher quality $15 replacement I will buy off Amazon.
We kept having to buy my husband new LifeProofs because they just fall apart so fast so we bought him a $15 brand off of amazon. It has been much stronger and amazingly better quality than the LifeProofs we have used over the past decade so I will abandon this company as well for quality products instead of an overpriced name that always fails to deliver.
UPDATE 2023: I never even used the grey one. I got a beautiful pink waterproof spidercase off of Amazon and it's SO MUCH BETTER THAN LIFEPROOF CASES! I have a purple one now too and I will never waste money on the overpriced, worthless LIFEPROOF brand again! 😅

I FINALLY received my FRE case. The quality of shipping was horrendous. This second time I’ve had this issue with them. But now my case doesn’t fit flush to my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Also gaps I. The phone where it doesn’t snap together. Any time I try to deal with customer service no one answers the phones or messages or emails. For such a company charges these high prices for a phone case they do NOT take care of their customers. If I request another case they insist you mail the defected one back first and won’t ship or refund your money til it makes it back to them. It’s horrible. Now I’m at a loss of what to do aaannnd out of $95.

I tried ordering 2 cellphone cases from lifeproof for my new iphone 11 max pro and my girls iphone 11 max pro. come to find out 5 days later i noticed it didnt ship so i contacted them and they told me the order was reversed. I told them i didnt agree to that that all i wanted was my cellphone case. they told me i could reorder them if i wanted to. So once my refund came back to my account i reordered them and the same thing happed. why cant i get my cell phone case. and the only time i can get ahold of someone is within a 4 hour gap from 10a.m. - 4p.m. If i miss that time frame i have to wait till the next day to see whats wrong with my order. once i get refunded i will not buy from them and i suggest to anyione else to never buy from them.

Case lasted just over 30 days. Paid too much and junk really, because the warranty is bogus. Only 39 days. First the camera coverage became so cloudy couldn’t take clear pictures. Then the screen is so cloudy it’s difficult to see accuracy. I don’t recommend this over priced product as for me it’s junk, waste of money.

When will businesses understand that covid 19 is not an excuse for poor behavior? They are not adapting well and do not have the nice usa reps on staff any longer. The use independent reps who keep asking online if im done. Yes i am done with this company that chooses to not adapt to our new normal after 1 year.

Won't buy again
Have had several Lifeproof Fre cases over the years. They've always worked well for waterproofness. The (old) lifetime warranty made them worth the extra money (had a replacement on a charging door once). The one I bought for my Samsung S8 in May 2019 was already looking a bit dodge for waterproofness by November and definitely not waterproof by January. I didn't prioritize a warranty replacement tho and by the time I got around to it pretty disappointing to find...now only a 12-month warranty. Must have changed when they got purchased by Otter. Pretty lame.

I’ve always had phone cases for my device but I haven’t always used lifeproof. I decided buy one with my last phone a few years ago and recently just purchased a new one for my new device. My experience with lifeproof has been great and their warranty policy is excellent, never getting another brand of phone cases as long as they keep up the good work!
Not Recommended
There are 2 reasons I would not recommend LifeProof cases: 1. The quality of my photos have gone way down, there's almost like a 'fuzzy/blurry' quality to my photos because of the case. And yes, I will clean over my camera lens, a lot, and that does not help. 2. The material around the rim of the case is almost clay-like and what is happening with mine is that it is slowly peeling off and smearing all over my phone screen. I can confirm this was not from being in the sun but rather from being in my pocket, bag, etc. For a case that is considered "LifeProof" it should have more durability. I'm pretty bummed as I liked that the case is waterproof and not bulky but I do not want to compromise my photos or have smears all over my phone screen.

Lifeproof has totally abandoned their customer service responsibilities. They do this under the guise of Covid 19 but it is not possible to talk with anyone at the company and the site sends you endlessly in circles. I have a problem with the case I purchased from them, but they are off counting my money instead of taking care of my problem. Sad!

After putting in the warranty claim on my husband and I phone cases and screen protectors. With lifeproof. My husband received his replacement phone case in the mail no problem. But my claim was denied. I redid another claim. Sent in photos of my Damaged phone Case and screen protector Along with the receipts. And after countless emails they’re still asking For move photos that I have no idea what they talking about.At this point I feel like They’re making a joke out of me. my husband and I spent almost $300 to protect our phones and the product that we got is just not holding up to the standards of what we were told. I ordered a life proof case
I ordered a life proof case, paid $29.99 for overnight shipping and it was delivered completely broken! I tried for several days to get someone to respond to my issue and yet no one has replied to me. They claim it’s because of the COVID-19 issue, but it’s still not fair to the customers who paid money and didn’t get a product that is usable. Their warranty service set up is a joke! Their customer service office is closed because of the COVID-19 problem, I’m sorry but that’s not an excuse lots of companies have people working out of their homes to answer questions about their products they should be no different. If you can’t run a business completely then it should just be closed completely!
