I have never left a review on TrustPilot but I had to for this company. It’s a complete scam so please please trust the other reviews and DON’T order from this company.

First they kept saying that it would delivered week after week and then 3 months on, no light delivered. Asked for a tracking number and kept delaying and in the end gave me one but it was for a different customer.

Now asked for a refund and it’s still been done. Been over 3 months from start to finish with no product and money lost.

The phone number looks like a company but it’s being diverted from a vodafone mobile phone and the products are all coming from abroad.

Ordered 3 pendant lights for my new kitchen. Several weeks passed before only 2 arrived. After another few weeks and several emails the final one arrived, but is a different shade glass and fixtures are a different colour. Now waiting for a response to get this resolved. This is an expensive company and I would of expected much better service.

Shocking service, ordered 4 outside lights, 2 arrived, packaging in bits, phoned to ask about the other 2, informed they were to be delivered the next day. 1 arrived, again asked where the 4th was, they said they would re send. 3 weeks later still waiting, they have an excuse every time I message them, they said they would refund the cost of 1 due to the inconvenience, NOT RECEIVED. They seem to make excuses or lie about what is happening. DO NOT ORDER from this company.

Appalling Company – Avoid at All Costs
If I could give zero stars, I would. Over 100 days since placing an order worth £1,000, and what a disaster from start to finish. One light eventually arrived, one turned up smashed to pieces, and the third never showed up at all.

Communication was dreadful, customer service useless, and it took endless chasing to finally get my money back. The whole experience has been nothing short of a nightmare.

Light Trend is completely unreliable — save yourself the stress and spend your money elsewhere.

We ordered a chandelier which was supposed to be arriving but never did despite asking for tracking information was fobbed off. Then after weeks of complaining we get given tracking information and it eventually arrives from China with no instructions to fix together. We contact them and ask for instructions but we get virtually blank sheet and upon sending them photos of parts to ask for help we had no reply. So to read their website saying they are a proud family business focused on quality if totally laughable and there are plenty of if more reliable suppliers of lights out there. I wouldn’t purchase anything from them.

I ordered a light on the 9 th of June , 22 days passed , no email ,I emailed to say where’s my order , they said been dispatched but they can’t track it , they will look into it, heard nothing for a week so called the number , to be told same thing , if you have dispatched an item , you should know who the courier is unless your drop shipping from china .
Item would be here in 3 to 5 working days , that passed no item , rang again to be told can’t find tracking and when they do will send it , we were 38 days in by this time. Left a few days and nothing , so I emailed saying I want a full refund , which they happily said they would do and cancel order immediately, not sure how you cancel an order that is on way , anyway refund in up to 5 working days , no refund in account so I’ve rang again to be told it’s pending and she would email straight away with proof , no email , no item £537.00 gone . Please do not waste your time or money with this company , shocking customer care .

Please avoid this company! We ordered chandelier on 29 of April. It was saying 21 days delivery. After long email exchange saying 48 hour delivery every day, it finally arrived on 5th of June. The chandelier arrived with 15 broken crystals. They promised me to deliver them in two days. It is 15th of July and no crystals no email response. Please save your money, time and nerves. Don’t repeat our mistake!

I placed an order for five chandeliers from Lighttrend UK on April 5th. According to their website, shipping was supposed to take 7–21 days. As of May 17th, I have received nothing, not even a tracking number.

At first, their excuse was that DHL hadn’t provided them with a tracking number – for over three weeks, although the items were picked up by them. That immediately raised red flags. DHL is one of the most reputable global couriers, and in my experience, tracking is always available within a day or two of dispatch. When I pointed this out, their story suddenly changed – now the delay was supposedly due to the size of the chandeliers.

This makes no sense. If your company specializes in chandeliers, then you should be fully equipped to handle shipping logistics for your own products. The shifting excuses, lack of transparency, and failure to deliver what I paid for all lead me to believe that this company is not legitimate. And the fact that you now ignore all phone calls and emails.
At this point, I am convinced Lighttrend UK is a scam. I’ve received no products, no proper tracking, and no accountability. I strongly recommend others stay far away from this company.

Also, from the beginning I wasn’t very comfortable buying from them, which is why I used PayPal for this specific transaction. With whom I have already initiated a full refund claim. I strongly suggest that anyone wants to take the same risk as I did, they use PayPal since they always refund you when a seller is dishonest like this one.

Update: so not a scam but not reliable either. In my opinion the information provided regarding shipping is not accurate and takes much longer than what their website says. For context, we placed an order for 5 chandeliers on the 5th of April 2025 and received part of it on the 21st of may and the rest on the 28th of may, which had broken pieces
. In the meantime we had ordered also from another company that promised delivery in 5 days and they did exactly that. So this work ethic is not exactly acceptable and I have never experienced anything like this.
Furthermore they have promised a partial refund to compensate for all the headaches, 2 weeks on and still no refund.

After posting on Trustpilot.com I did receive a response from the lighting company. They apologised and updated me with delivery times and an apology. I have now received the light I ordered and a follow up message to check all is ok. I advised them, that all I wanted was to be kept informed and not have to chase them myself. I hope this review helps others.

It did take a bit longer than a standard order (understandably), but the wait was so worth it. Can't recommend Light Trend enough if you're after something custom made!
