DO NOT USE!!! trying to help somebody else out and these people just steal your money and dont actually help. its a scam and fake website.

DO NOT USE! Absolute con. Doesn't actually locate your phone and then they have charged me 3x £19.95 for a subscription!?! I spotted the first today. I called the number on their website and received a refund - no questions asked. Then I checked to see if they had taken any others and noticed 2x payments in July (ashamed to say I didn't notice). Called them back immediately and received a refund for these two payments too. My advice is to stay calm, be polite, and get your money back! I am livid. What a con. On a positive note - the staff were nice and it was easy to get the refunds to be fair.

Scam! Do not sign up. Charged 50p openly then £29 surreptitiously. ALSO it will NOT track the phone unless you have all the details required to use use the Apple or android apps yourself so this is not just a scam but a complete waste of money

Lost phone so paid £0.95p on their locator site. I actually found it at my home but locator gave an incorrect address. I received no e mail notification just a text locator giving the wrong location. Six days later they took a further £36.95 from my account. Currently talking to my bank. DONT USE THESE GUYS THEY ARE A SCAM. Trade on the web under Locatemyphone.co.uk. Also states Sunstream Digital Ltd

I left my phone in an uber early hours Sunday morning, when I realised this later into the morning I was in sheer panic and completely forgot I could track my phone via my Google account at the time, so I used this company on my boyfriends phone, they asked for 0.50p which seemed reasonable to track my phone, and although I put in my phone number all it did was track his phone, so I cancelled it then used Google to find it, thankfully after contacting uber the driver still had my phone in his car and he returned it to me. Then just checked to find £29.95 had been taken out my bank by this scam of a company!!! I'm going to be reporting it as fraud to get my money back, please avoid I wish I'd have seen these reviews before giving them my card details!!

Horrendous, How do these people sleep at night ripping people off especially when people are struggling to pay bills etc. Juts took £19,95 out my bank

As everyone else seems to agree, this is a rip-off company. 50p to get you to sign up then £25/month if you don't cancel within 24 hours.
You can use Google's Find Device app for free, and locatemyphone offers nothing more than Google.
AVOID!

Sighed up to pay 50p/£1 to locate friends lost phone and they've taken £29.95 from my account today, 2 days after taking the original cost stayed

Why would you even set up a business like this? 50p then start a £19.95 subscription without any consent. The banks on to them and alerted me straight away. Plus there is no such thing as locating your phone outside of iPhone. Total scam. Now I need a new bank card!! Whoever owns this company, go and set up a proper business.

Waste of time. Wanted more and more details without finding phone. Why are Google and Bing allowing adverts from this scam?

Waning it's a Scam. Don't use as they will try or take £19.99 out of your bank account the following day.... Its not 50 pence as stated....
And they will not be able to find Yr phone....

Scam - charged £50 for nothing.

Absolute scumbags. Says there is a 50p charge which seems a fair exchange. Paid that, couldn't locate the phone, in fact, it said it was around 100 miles from its actual found location. The next day, I was charged a further 19.99 this is unlawful.

This service didn't work AND it said it would charge me 50p, but instead charged me £19.95! Stay clear.

Why would any sane person want to pay a monthly charge of £20 to find their mobile, which is a one off event? Unless they plan to lose the phone on a regular basis, in which case, perhaps they should think of improving their security?

pay £1 to not locate your phone then get hit with a two month £50 subscription for something you'll hardly use . This is hidden in the small print , absolutely shocking sharp practice . Avoid like the plague

Scam, thought it was a one off payment then it kept being taken without a DD being set up. AVOID

Absolutely furious with this scam line! Says it cost 50p then they've charged me £19.95 without asking me to sign up for a subscription! Do not use absolute con! Took money off me and didn't locate the damn phone phone either!
