Junk. Can't verify my photo on license with my face photo. Says go to P O to get verified in person by some clerk at the counter. Ya. Don't think thats gonna happen. Meanwhile cant access my Social Security paperless statement.

I had an SSA login for over a decade, just email & a PW. I never had a single problem. I could change phone #'s, email addresses, my address when I moved - it was easy to update.

Now everyone using anything for the SSA - that most of us paid freaking taxes towards - get to deal with this absolute headache.

It took hours, created a Login.gov account, after taking photos of my DL & selfies. Next time I logged in, it asked for it all over again. A month ago, I changed my Banking DD, no issues. Today I go to double check the new Banking, sure enough, it's as if I created an all-new account with them! I had to photo my same DL & create a selfie, again, which took 3 tries.

There is NO REASON whatsoever that after successfully creating a Login.gov account you should need to verify the same personal data again & again & again. None of my banks where my actual money is kept do this, my CC doesn't do this, where I shop with my money such as Amazon or Walmart doesn't do this, where I'm paid thru ebay doesn't do this, where I pay my auto insurance doesn't do this, where I pay my mortgage doesn't do this, where I pay my homeowner's insurance & property taxes doesn't do this, where I buy my groceries or carryout food online doesn't do this...so why is Login.gov allowed to screw everyone over, again & again?

Now if you do any work at all & must report it to the SSA, have fun with that! You can't even get into the website to make a report. Yet they can surely STEAL back your benefits if they find out you didn't report work done. You can waste $$$ you don't have on printer ink, paper, envelopes, & stamps to mail in some form that tells if you worked. Or hey, just don't tell them. Just make sure you don't file taxes w/ the IRS & your state b/c they communicate that info. to the SSA.

We pay $$$ in taxes to for them to operate, so they can destroy a WORKING website with log-ins, creating one that no longer works, essentially TRAPPING us. At least with the SSA, you don't need to give them much of a reason to try to steal back what you already rightfully receive.

And some advice: Do Not Use Your Real Name for Social Media Accounts.

I have an account but it won't let me use it. Wants to reverify all my data but refuses to accept any phone numbers, even the one it sent a verification to earlier in the process. Phone line help is a joke. Nobody to talk too. I suppose Elon fired them all. This is everything that people complain about the Government. I wouldn't care but most US websites and accounts are switching to this. Social Security switched this month and it is the only way to get in.

Can't verify identity by photo selfies regardless of light source. No way to speak to humans. Support is a web of useless irrelevant help links, and probably not even administered by humans.

Too bad I can't score it lower. A total POS! Constant "We can't verify your Identity". Only offers authentication by phone number but not email.

Broken, bad, stinks, doesn't put down the toilet seat after using it; what more bad can I say? No documentation. Process changed WHILE I was trying to use it. Deleted account but for some reason wanted number from deleted account for 2FA. Support is USELESS. JUST USE ID.ME INSTEAD!!!!

Absolute garbage I’ve uploaded my drivers license multiple times will not work drive to the post office. Give them my drivers license all my information like it asked still doesn’t work. Can’t get it to work at all. Whatever has worked correctly just run you in circles absolute piece of garbage.

Horrible system. typical of government apps. cause of endless frustration for users. Can't get to work to verify id using Chrome, Firefox or Opera on Android phone have enabled camera on all 3. Still says "camera blocked" Why can't the government do technology right ever?

I created an account with login a couple of years ago I just verified my data. I then tried to go to SSA and it required me to verify my data with login. my reply was that login could not verify my phone number was valid yet I had just use it to get my validation code to log into my login account their help desk placed me into a loop of useless dribble that required me to login but they will not accept my phone number

Login.gov simply does not work they're a bunch of idiots that don't know what they're doing they need to call Elon musk they have to be well aware by now that it doesn't work how can this government be so dysfunctional

I just retired from the military and need access to their website without using a common access card ID (CAC) to access my DD214 and use other links they have. The government chose login.gov to allow access for those that separated our retired. THE HUGE PROBLEM with login.gov is they need identification verification. The address they have on file is an address I have not resided in for over 6 years and the phone number (landline) they have on file I have not been associated with for over 20 years. The problem with that is they require to either send a letter to the address they have on file or send a code via text message or a phone call for landlines, which I no longer have access to. I called their help desk and they pretty much told me they can't do shit and I'm just assed out. This is the worst decision the government has made to help those that served. Do better! Login.gov is garbage!

Never have three people tried so hard for two days to set up my account. Now we are waiting two days to start again. I am trying to get into my medical records. Picture transfer is a wasted time. Perhaps someone from India is laughing right now

While it took an arm and leg to convert my healthevet over it was set up now again nothing works password, personal key, so I'm pretty much logged out of my medical information until I can get to a person to person account fix, Thanks for screwing up an all ready good system

I am older, but not tech illiterate either. I downloaded pictures and information needed.
Until, I got to the end. It kept asking me for a second phone, it said a landline was acceptable.....
But, it would not accept my landline phone number that I have had for over 40 yrs.
What a waste of time. Now, I get to try the Post Office and see what clichés I will run into there.

If you want a look at true government inefficiency and want to pull your hair out for fun, just try logging in and setting up a login.gov account. Try uploading your license and taking a picture of yourself 6 times, for it to never work. Be timed out for hours until you can do it again and still not work and get timed out again. It just isn't worth it. It's terrible.

I got someone on the help desk right away who helped me to download what I needed from the social security site. the only problem is prior to helping me he asked every personal question such as ssa#; DOB, where I was born, mother's maiden name. I was very disturbed as he could steal my identity due to me providing the extensive requested info. when I was already linked to the ssa site. I was able to download what I needed, but am still very shaken.

Can't use it which means they succeeded in locking me out of VA and Social Security. Totally absurd.

Login.gov is an abomination. I am a retired senior staff engineer. If I had hell unsuccessfully setting up my account, I can imagine someone who isn't computer savvy attempting this. It's cumbersome and worst of all it doesn't work. It said it couldn't connect me to my phone that I have had for many years. Confusion moving you from the computer for a text message and then back to the computer. It's a mess. Taking and retaking photos is a nightmarish loop. I chose verify by mail and never received the documentation. I use the old method a lot. I don't know where I go from here.

If I could give negative amount, I would. This is garbage, confusing and pointless. It now says my email is invalid. WTF?! This is bullshit, eff this hot garbage.
