Would not honor BOGO 50% email
After shopping online with Mark's for many years they refused to honor their BOGO 50% off email sent to me. I tried to place an online order but the prices in my cart did not reflect the savings promised. I called customer service before checking out and it was suggested to me to go ahead and place the order, which could be corrected later, to which I agreed. After placing the order the prices were still incorrect and after checking with her supervisor she said NO they would not honor the email !? I was not given a reason when I asked why, which was unacceptable, so I decided to cancel the whole order. I have not shopped on their website since and unsubscribed from their emails.

I placed an order on line marks site on February 6, 2024. While waiting for the delivery of the four items I received an email saying it was on it's way on Feb. 14 and that came and went. No package the Marks close to me called and said they had one item. I went to pick it up. Then Canada Post they had one. After weeks I call customer service and the person said they were refunding the funds back to my credit card and still no funds. call again and that person redid the process again and said I had to wait until the investigate. The service stinks and the people does not know how to do there jobs. They did not even care that it is taking so long. Very poor service. BAD, BAD BAD AND HORRIBLE. NO THANKS TO MARKS
Never refunded for shoes which never arrived
Bought a pair of shoes online from Mark's and never received them at my address. Tried to contact them several times, but they always rejected responsibility. They are blaming FedEx and telling me to contact them because they are the delivery company, but both companies are just shifting responsibility from one to another. The money was never refunded. I am never going to order shoes from them again.

I bought a pair of $50 leather gloves. Got them home and wore them a short time and found they were too big. Took them back and the clerk said I had worn them and there was a bit of dirt on them, I told them I had worn them for a day and produced the receipt to prove purchase. they said it was a hygiene thing and since I had worn them, they could not sell as new so they would not exchange for a smaller size. Total BS since people try on gloves before they buy them. I complained and the manager came and said it was a hygiene thing and no refunds and no exchange, FOR LEATHER GLOVES. Marks products are now low quality one mark above a thrift store / ever go in a store I want you to look around and see how many product lines are plaid it’s insane .sizes are terrible in particular mens tops huge down to your ankles practically. I shop there since conception and noted my purchasing was reduced 75 % Come on Marks you can do better and those buyers need to step it up
Don't bother buying Denver Hayes jeans
Don't bother buying Denver Hayes jeans. They're thin and poorly made. I bought a couple of pairs of loose fitting jeans and the crotch and corner of one of the rear pockets ripped out pretty quick within just a couple of weeks, and the other pair had dye that bled into the pockets after the first wash. I exchanged the pair that ripped and also bought some cheap levis from walmart on the same day. The second pair ripped in the same spot, but the Levi's are holding strong over a year later.
Save your time and money, buy Levi's instead. The straight and athletic fits are great.
Uneducated Staff
On December 29/23 I wrote about my Marks experience. If you read it you will see that they told me to keep the slippers and they will return my money. Today is December 7/24 and I still did not receive my refund for these slippers. I used to buy a lot of clothes for my husband in the past and was very happy and my husband was happy. It seems to make a big difference if you shop in the store versus on line. You just get skrewed around with on-line orders. As I said before, Marks will never see me again but I still expect my refund of $47.74. Let's see.
Product dented.
I had ordered a Stanley Classic Legendary 1.5QT Bottle and it was shipped in only double vinyl bags with no protective material like bubble wraps and have arrived this morning and I found the bottom "dented".P.S.I have taken few pictures in my hand as a proof.
A good place for all your workwear…
A good place for all your workwear needs. Unfortunately However, these stores do not have a separate customer service counter which leads to Soviet era waits in line as more customers seem to be returning merchandise than paying. The grumbling of my line mates or should I say inmates was vicious. Mark's I suggest you figure this out and fast!

Awful customer service
If there was a zero star option that is what they would have received from me.
I tried to return a brand new pair of shoes, still with every tag on them and the receipt from not even 2 weeks ago. They were not a final sale, they were purchased as part of a black Friday promotion. The lady behind the counter refused to return them as she said they had been worn outside, there was a little dust on the bottom, it wiped right off, the stickers were still brand new white on the bottom, I told her look at the floors in here, they are all salty and dusty, they were only tried on in this store. I have never been made to feel like such a criminal. She told me 3 times nope, these were worn outside, look at them, there was a tiny thread that was showing....she said this is wear and tear from being outside, it is smaller than the length of half a grain of rice, so tiny I did not even notice it until she showed it to me. Yes the shoes were on sale for 100$, however that is still 100$ I am out until this gets resolved. I have emailed head office, I am not holding my breath on hearing back from them. I wish there was the option to add photos.

Nasia or Nasmim, a cashier at the Mark's store at 1076 Marine Dr in North Vancouver was so rude that I wanted to run out of the store and never return. Not helpful, not friendly, wonder why she bothers working in a customer service job if she hates the customers and wants to ruin their day?

Waiting since more then 2 months on my order. When you contact them, they keep on saying the order is delivered while screenshot of the tracking says clearly the order is still waiting to be picked up by the carrier! I will definitely go further with this.
Marks doesn't allow constructive negative reviews
I posted a review on Marks website that the bula merino wool beanies made in China, made my head itchy. Because I am sensitive to wool, like a lot of people. And merino wool isn't suppose to be itchy and it was. They then informed me that they took my review down. Because of some lame it didn't meet our guidelines excuse.
Two months to get a refund
I placed an order with Marks on 8th September. Unfortunately, their courier, Purulator returned the item without delivering it – Mark’s confirmed that it was received back on the 14th. Incredibly, it took nearly two months and numerous chasing emails to get a refund paid – won’t be making any repeat purchases!
Never got my order
Never got my order. Finally got half reimbursed 2 months later. Still had to contact them for the rest of my refund. Told me to go to a physical store for an online order. They just don't care.
This Company deserves no stars!
They wouldn't get any stars from me! Returned a pair of wind river boots last week. I wore them once in heavy rain. They were letting water in. Upon inspection when I got home. Both boots has had splits at the side seems. Exchanged them for a different style of wind river rain boots! Never again! Took them back today! The soles of the boots which they say are rubber are in fact plastic! I slipped on leaves and landed on my knees! I was so angry! Also when you are walking in them your feet feel likey they are falling over to the side of the boot. Very poor design and dangerous! Customer service was very very bad when I returned them. I will never shop at Marks again!
Really bad customer's service and online pick up order
Don't shop here online or online pick up order. Purchased a winter boots, with promised of 1-4 days will deliver to a local store. Got an email that it was delayed. Then I didn't received any update after that. After I month, I followed up and they said the order has been sitting in the local store. Was very unhappy, I called customer service at the local store and basically being tossed around between employees and corporate office. It will take another 7-10 days to be refunded, they won't send directly to your home, and they only give us 15% in store discount on next purchase for all the trouble we've been having. Plus it will take another few days to issue a ticket for their corporate to deal with the situation. Their customer's service was trained to push customer to follow what the want, even though they made the mistake. Why this type of company still exists in 21st century?
Do not shop here
Went into the store to buy long underwear. After getting over the price shock I got confused on there sizing as it is not the same as normal,and when I finally figured it out they did not have any in my size. Complete waist of time.
