Mathway Reviews

It is virtually impossible to cancel my subscription. I have tried to contact them utilizing their email contact information, all to no avail. Very frustrating. Use CoPilot!

Everytime it said “watch a ad for free 1 time steps” it didn’t apply it. Look I usually never resort to math helping websites because I believe in doing the work with my own brain but the one time I needed this it couldn’t even help me and this applies to all the other times too

The math problem I typed in (exponential) says there are no steps to evaluate this question unless you graph it. There is CLEARLY a way to evaluate it with logarithms as shown on other free websites. I simply wanted double check that I had the right answer. I figured a paid service would surely have the most accurate answer.

it is awesome but it just gives people all the answers pluse it glichis like crazy it dot evan work that good

i'm so happy I fanally found a web that I can trust with my homework!

I received a random Mathway charge on my account this month - so I filed a dispute with my credit card company because I haven't used Mathway, I don't think ever. I haven't even taken a math class in several years. I emailed Support, who responded generally, notified me that they'd issued a refund. They told me later they did not issue the refund because of the dispute. Then, they stopped answering my emails. I'd asked if they would provide a statement of the account reflecting all charges to date. Crickets. I've emailed three times - and they fail to respond. I've checked my account over the last couple years and don't recall having monthly Mathway charges. A huge red flag that they've decided to start charging my credit card, without authorization, out of nowhere. Then, refusing to respond to emails for a super reasonable request. If a company is charging a customer, they should easily be able to provide information about the transaction history. STAY AWAY from Mathway.

I wanted a longer question answered with steps. I imputed it in, then it redirected me to sign up free for what I presumed was the ability to see the step by step process. After I do this it sends me back to the calculator, my whole typed out question is gone. I think, that kind of sucks. Then I completely put it back, click on step by step process, and it directs me to a subscription to see the step by step process. The whole time half of my screen is filled with ads. It was truly one of the most infuriating experiences I've had as all I wanted is a few damn steps for a math problem Im having issue with. These websites use to run perfectly fine on ad revenue. Now it seems they have all been taken over by money hungry pigs who don't care at all for people trying to learn

Terrible app I would give it zero but that’s not an option. This only helps if it’s working and there’s only a certain amount of question it would answer nothing above nine grade math.

As a whole Mathway is great if it's working. This is the second weekend in a row that the site has been down which is very inconvenient since that is when I need it. I think that when I pay for a subscription I should have access to it when I need it.

The Mathway is the worst online math calculator I have ever used in my life, Whenever I type a question it just replies "We have some technical difficulties so that we can be able to process try again ". So please don't pay the premium it is a waste of money. Don't use it . Totally waste website .

It can’t solve anything actually challenging. Only stuff I can solve on my own. Not worth paying for

Had mathway for school and they the problem solving solutions were good. However, when I finished I tried to cancel I followed the instructions given from the account page was notified of the cancellation. I continue to be billed by mathway and when contacting support I was giving a run around saying the exact steps I’ve already taken, how my email wasn’t even found so how am I being charged?

Bought a book off Chegg, somehow I have been charged from Mathway.com for months $10.97 for a service I have never used! What a scam........ They have nice directions on how to cancel, but the CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION is no where to be found!

Even if you pay for the service to show you how to do the problem it might not even have an explanation because the explanation is just the answer, if I am paying to have you show me how to do that, you should show me how to do it.

Costs money, has gotten multiple questions wrong, will not give you solutions until you make an account, overall garbage tool.

I LOVE THIS APP IT HAS SAVED FROM ME FROM KMS BEC OF SPARKS

the app it self is not that bad but it's absolutely garbage how it costs money to reveal step-by-step solutions. not student friendly.

can't even login anymore on pc with the new update

This site used to be free and things were just doing fine but I just found out now that it is not free anymore. Bring back the old Mathway, it is more useful that way.
