Mathway Reviews

I can get the correct answers when I am not signed into my paid account but once I sign in and type the same question, it gives me a completely idiotic wrong answer, and it tells me to ask an expert. It is not worth paying.

Mathway is good...if you want only want 90% of your answers to be correct and want no work to explain the process. You Have to pay a monthly fee to get the work, but it's not worth it as i can count more than a few times in which Mathway's answer was just flat out wrong:( why would I pay $10 usd a month to not be guaranteed the correct answer? 1 star.

Mathway is a horrible service. The only reason I gave it two stars is because the answers are accurate. They charge money for looking at steps, and they put too much ads in there. Originally, you have a 2750x5000 screen format. But because of ads, you only have a 2750x750 format. They are advertising about other Chegg services.

I am Logan Salsman, and I have no affiliation with Mathway or Chegg, except for using their services.

ur gabbage x^2-11x=60 does not give the square root of 71 and -71 ur boofy i used my calculator and my knowledge of the quadratic formula get gud lol xd

this is bs it wants money for steps but really come on thats stupid they need to fix this dam app

tysm help me cheat

You just trying to get everybody to cheat

It is a waste of money. They want more money to explain their steps. You have to pay to ask an "expert." Just use the free version and study.

Entirely useless. You're able to ask questions to an "expert" if you pay the exta $5 for the "Ask an Expert" feature, but I regularly submit questions and don't receive answers back for ups of 48-72 hours when the description says I should only wait "a few hours" which used to be 2-3 when they were answering my questions. Customer service called it a technical difficulty, but it's happened multiple times without resolution. Totally ridiculous, going to cancel.

Really helpfull app subscription way too expensive though

Okay, so i couldent deside between 2 or 3 stars this may seem like a dumb reason, but it is because i want to be able to hold conversations with it, if that wasnt part of it then it would be between 3 and 4 stars, because it answers most of my quastions also sorry for my typing i just like to type quickly so i make lots O mistakes

Literally one of the worst programs you can ever use for math problems. There is free software like symbolab that gives everything pathway has to offer on its paid version and more. I purchased the paid version thinking it would be a way for me to understand the certain question but in reality, mathway just makes it harder to understand by going into too much detail on the smallest things. Also, mathway is not able to compute certain problems that are basic and free software are able to do. For example lof functions and ln functions and integrals which either give the wrong answer or does not compute it. The most annoying part about mathway is the fact that you can copy and past numbers with ease which literally defeats the purpose of any online calculator. In all honesty, mathway is one of the worst programs to use and symolab is 10 times better, cheaper and just better all around.

It gets the answers wrong, completely useless.

Oh my gosh. Where can I begin Mathway is just a horrible trashy website with bad customer service and scammers

They updated my card info some kind of way without my authorization. I called multiple times and no response, I wasn't going to cancel but because they think they can do what they want I'm cancelling and taking it further. I just go a new card in the mail so I planned on updating everything this weekend. But not at this point

To the people that are saying that Mathway sucks, tells me that you are not entering the problem correct. I passed all of my college math classes by using Mathway.

This is the most useless App I have ever used. it gives you random answers that makes no sense what's so ever. I got so many questions wrong because of this stupid thing.

The free version gives you answers, but does not let you see step-by-step solutions. As a student, I find this very infuriating. I cannot have the premium version and thus am stuck with being given the final answer but not the steps to get there. Mathway sucks unless you have premium (for those that can afford it). I just want steps on how to solve problems for math but I can't because I have to buy my answers. Horrible. I hate it.

One of the best tools for math learning. I learned how to do so much from this site! Anyone who says that it gives random answers is wrong. There's probably something just messed up with the user. I would totally recommend it and I will continue to use it for all my math.

To whom ever that says that they don't like mathway your computers messed up or you must be blind. This is the only way i got into Math 107, you guys are trippin!!
